First morning after leaving Camp. I woke up to the smell of salty air and sweet pancakes. As fast as I possibly could being groggy, I got into new clothes and stumbled my way into the kitchen.
"Save some for Amelia." Annabeth was saying to Percy who was taking as many pancakes as his plate could support.
"Looks like there's enough." I said as I walked into the room. I nodded at the stack of pancakes that must have been six inches high.
"Yeah, there's enough. Listen to the immortal." Percy said, taking one last pancake to make a point.
Annabeth sighed. "Come on Amelia. Eat." I plopped down on the opposite side of the small table we were sitting at.
Like Percy, I grabbed an annoyingly large amount of pancakes. Annabeth gave me this look that was the combination of 'WHY!?' and 'don't encourage him'.
"Watch this." I said. With my goddess mumbo jumbo, I made one of me nectar containers appear on the table. I grabbed it and drenched my breakfast in it.
Percy did the same. He absolutely soaked his pancakes until they were swimming in syrup.
"Oh dear deitys, PERCY!" Annabeth was exasperated. I giggled.
"Hey," he said "I can't drown..."
"...and neither can my pancaked." I finished. Confusion swept my face.
"What was that? I asked.
Annabeth launched out of her seat and started inspecting me.
"How did you know that?" asked Percy, quietly sitting in his own seat.
"I suspect her powers are growing. Have you been doing anything more godly?" she asked, pulling out of my face.
"Well, when we were fighting Cetus, I got cut, and it was golden.." I trailed off at the end.
"Has it always been?" Annabeth asked.
"Not really. I cut myself once on a rusty nail when I was little, and It was kind of gold, but I thought it has something to do with the rust. My foster parents at the time waved it off because they thought I made it up for attention." I trailed off a bit at the end.
"I think your immortality will set in soon, and you wont age. By that point you'll have enough magic and enough control over it to be whatever age you wish to be." she concluded.
"Oh." I said. We sat down and resumed breakfast. "Hey Perce, wanna race?" I asked.
He smirked and got what I was talking about, just one second before Annabeth got it.
"Wait-" But it was too late. We were shoving food in our mouths to the bursting point. Ultimately, I won though. I lifted my arms up in victory. Percy leaned back in his chair and sighed in defeat.
"Beaten by a G-word, of course." He said.
"Goddess?" asked Annabeth.
"Girl." He corrected, earning a smack from his girlfriend.
"HAHA!" I laughed.
Annabeth reached over the table and smacked me.
"How bout we swim!" Percy suggested.
"Good idea." I ran to my room to change. It was a one-piece with pink and white dots against a red background. It was cute, but not my style, but before I left, the Aphrodite went through my clothes. Rejecting clothes they deemed unfit, and inserting 'cuter' ones. I was only able to save a fraction of what I owned, with the help of Piper. Annabeth soon joined me in our room.
And I know, daughters of Athena color is grey. But Annabeth wore a light blue bathing suit that looked like the sky.
"Nice bikini." Annabeth complemented.
"You too." we were about to leave but Percy decided to shout outside our door.
"LAST ONE OUT GETS SPLASHED FIRST!" he yelled
Annabeth Have me a quick knowing smile and soon we were racing up the stairs and into the shallow, warm water. And even though we left at the same time, she still won.
"Hey, Amelia. Payback time." I stopped splashing around in the water. What had to be a twenty feet high wave splashed down on me.
I sighed as I swam back to the surface. "Ha ha, very fun.."
But he wasn't there. I used my powers to make my goggles appear on my face. Sure enough, when I breached the water and swam down, I saw Percy and Annabeth making out in what looked like an air bubble.
While their eyes were closed, I swam to their bubble, wiggled my way in and hit both of them simultaneously.
"Hey!" they said. I laughed. They lunged to grab me, but I simply teleported up to the hot tub up on the boat.
I saw their heads bobb up, and it made me laugh.
"Come on Amelia, come have a little bit of fun." Percy called.
"You know we'll be in Richmond in a few more hours if I turn the boat on, right?" I replied.
Percy paled as he got it. "Amelia no wai-" , but with my powers I turned on the boat and was out of there as fast as possible, leaving Annabeth and Percy stranded in the water.
Distantly and faintly I could hear Annabeth call "AMMMEEELLLIIAAAA!!!". It was awesome, but I was a nice diety, so I transported them to the hot tub with me.
"...hate your sister." Percy was finishing a sentence.
"Hello." I said. The couple whiped their heads to me. I knew it was time to run.
I lept out of the tub and ran across the deck, with Percy and Annabeth on my tail. I made my sword appear just in time. I blocked the first swipe from Percy.
"Woah!" I exclaimed.
"No powers, agreed?" he said.
"Sure." I shrugged.
I launched at him, trying to disarm him. He easily blocked it and attempted the same thing. I narrowly avoided having my sword being grabbed from me. I parried his strikes and aimed for the main parts, head, legs, arms, chest. But he was just to good.
I was good too, not to brag. Okay, I love to brag, but he was better, barley. With one swift move he held his sword to my throat and held my sword to the back of my head.
"I win, goddess." He boasted. We all laughed.
I had to admitt, but it was a really fun fight, even if I did lose.
A/N, Sorry, haven't really been inspired lately, but I now have a dam for my other book, and you have no idea how much one nice comment can be.
