Chaper 10: I forgive you.

Chapter 10 (JOEY POV):

I take my phone from Cat and open to the text, angling my phone so Cat can't see the screen.

Katie: "Hey Joey. I miss my bestfriend too. Urth Cafe at noon tomorrow."

Oh my god. She doesn't hate me? I hope I didn't screw everything up. I mean, we've been best friends all our lives and I wouldn't want to lose that.

"Well? What did she say?" I hear Cat say breaking my train of thought.

 "Oh uh we're gonna grab lunch tomorrow since I haven't seen her in a couple weeks. Ya know, just catch up?"

"Oh okay, but after can we film a personality type video? I need a new main channel vid."

"Anything you want babe." I lean over and kiss Cat on the cheek.

She leans in and plants a kiss on my lips as we both lay down on the bed without breaking the kiss.

Cat pulls away yawning, "I'm tired Jojo, can we go to sleep? I need some sweatpants or something though."

"Of course!" I grab Cat some old sweats and a tank top of mine as she strips in front of me to change.

As she changes I pull off my shirt and Cat shoots me a confused look. "What? This is how I always sleep?"

"Trust me, I'm not complaining. I mean, those abs. Damn." She says and we both laugh.

Cat kisses me again, but I'm just bored by it. I pull away, "Yeah, I'm tired too, let's go to bed."

Cat lays next to me and rests her head on my chest and we fall asleep.

I wake up to Cat who is still asleep with her head on my chest. I gently pick up her head and lie it on my pillow as I get up trying not to wake her. I get my phone, 11:00am.

Time to get ready to meet Katie at Urth Cafe. God knows what she's going to say. I take a shower and gel my hair up. I put on a typical striped shirt and jeans with Sperry's. (With my Abercrombie cologne of course.)

When I get to Urth Cafe I park the car and see Katie sitting in a booth by herself texting someone.

"Hey?" I say as positively as I can, still questioning if she's going to yell at me.

She looks up from her phone, "JOEY!" She gives me a huge hug and practically the entire restaurant turns to look at us. We both laugh about our over the top welcome.

I sit down opposite Katie and just as I was about to say something she says, "So I know we have some catching up to do but I need to say something first. I'm really sorry about me giving mixed signals, I wasn't trying to confuse you. I understand you thought James and I split. We were going through a rough patch, we had actually talked earlier that day which is why I wanted to ask you for advice. Also I didn't realize you and Cat weren't dating, sorry for accusing you of hurting her."

"Thanks, but honestly you shouldn't be apologizing, I'm the one who made the mistake. By the way I do need an update on all the gossip with you and James! Also.. I have some exciting relationship Joey Graceffa gossip for you! You go first though."

"Ooooh! I wanna know now though.. okay fine. So James and I are still together and we're going to spend Christmas together at his place in Boston! I'm so excited I mean I thought he was mad at me, but he invited me! I wanted to see when you were going down to Boston so maybe we can fly there/back together? Also we so need to catch up wth Mariah and the girls from school!"

"Oh my gosh that's amazing! 1) Yay Kames? Lol you need a better ship name. 2) Yes! We should fly down the 20th! 3) Aw I miss the girls, def need to see them. 4) JCat is kinda real now so.."

"Yay so we'll fly down the 20th and come back the 27- WAIT.. WHAT? Aaaah JCat is actually real? When? Where? When will you tell the fans?"

"Haha those flght dates sound good, lets book those later. And, YAY! Haha it actually happened recently, we dated before the Race and broke up once we left for filming and we both let it go but she was saying why let it go? And things kinda happened from there! I don't know if we will tell fans, we didn't the first time, and who knows if we will last again."

"Ah don't say that! Jatie and JCat can live on together! I'm so excited! Is she coming down for Christmas too?"

"We haven't talked about it but she always goes to visit her family so I think until we're more serious we'll both do our separate things and talk when we get back."

"Oh okay. That's stll great though Joey!"

I look down and check my phone, 1pm.

"Oh shoot, I need to film a video with Cat now. I hate to cut this short, unless you wanna film with us?"

"Really? That sounds so fun! I'd hate to intrude though, I mean you just started dating yesterday.."

"No no, it's fine. I'll just tell her you're coming." I say as I text Cat asking if Katie can come over.

"See, she replied saying sounds good! Let's go." After a minute of Katie and I bickering over the check I just stick my card in quickly and hand it back to the waiter before she could do anything.

"Joey, you didn't have to-"

"It's fine, I wanted to!"

The waiter brings back the check, and we both take our cars over to my house.
