GABRIELLA'S P. O. V
Yesterday's dinner was surprisingly not bad at all, I still wish I didn't go but overall, it was okay. I honestly thought that Lucille, Jack, and my 'ex friends' were going to give me a hard time but they didn't however, I felt a little intimidated by them. I really felt like I did not belong. They were all successful people. Chad's a coach for UCLA, Taylor is a politician, Sharpay is a top designer, Kelsi is a composer, Ryan is a choreographer for broadway musicals, Martha owns one prestige elite dance school, Jason is a high school gym teacher, Zeke is a top notch chef/baker. What about me? What do I do for a living? Right... I wait on tables....

I gently stroked my daughters hair as she groomed her toy puppy she received from Lucille and Jack yesterday.

"So have you thought of a name yet?", I asked.
"Aha", She said nodding her head.
"What is it?", I asked.
"Lila", She said as she placed bows on the toy puppy's head.
"That's a very pretty name", I said as I kissed her head before proceeding back to work.

TROY'S P. O. V
I was quite happy about yesterday night. It didn't go smoothly at first but at the end of the night everyone was relaxed and enjoying each and everyones company. My daughter slowly started to feel comfortable with the people around her and hopefully Gabi and her will attend more gatherings just so that the tension between us all could go away. I mean I'm still mad that she kept my daughter away from me and I am still sad that my daughter still knows me as Troy and not daddy, but I am happy that I get to be near her. Just being able to spend time with her and holding her tells me everything is going to be okay.

As I sat on the bench during practice, I grabbed my phone out if my bag to check the time. 11:55am. Perfect five more minutes till practice is over. I had a month and a half left for the season to start however, tomorrow we have a charity event happening. LA Lakers vs Warriors. All proceeds are going to St. Jude hospital. As I heard coach blew the whistle everyone gathered around the bench.

"Okay so practice is over and as we all know tomorrow is the charity event. I need you all to email me the amount of people you are planning on bringing tomorrow so that we can reserve their spots behind our benches since there will be a section for family and friends of the players. So get them to me ASAP", Coach said.

We all nodded our heads and he dismissed us to head to the locker room to shower up. Once I was cleaned and ready, I waved by to my team members and headed towards my car. I took out my phone and texted the gang to whoever wants to come to tomorrow's game to message me asap so that I can reserve them a spot. When I sent the last message out, I threw my phone into the cup holder and drove home.

TROY'S HOUSE....

TROY'S P. O. V
As I entered the house I was greeted by my parents.
"Hi Troy", My mom called out.
"Hi", I replied back as I placed my gym bag near the stair case.
"Want some lunch?", Lucille called out.
As I walked towards the kitchen Mom and Dad were both making a sandwich, "Nahhh its okay maybe later".
"Okay", My mom said.
"How was practice?", Dad asked.
"Good, oh are you guys interested in watching me play tomorrow? We have a charity event thing happening and we are facing Warriors. I need to know numbers asap cause I have to email coach", I explained.
"Of course we will come, we have two days left here might as well", My dad said.
"Why don't you invite Gabriella and your daughter? I'm sure they would love it. It will be Lilly's first basketball game", My mom said smiling.
"I agree", My dad said.
"That's actually a great idea, you know what, I'll go see them both now to tell them", I said.
"Go, it's still early", My mom said.
"I'll grab dinner when I come back, are you okay with In n Out?", I asked them.
"Thats fine with me", Dad said.
"Yup", Mom replied.
"Great I'll see you both in a bit", I said before grabbing my keys.
