GABRIELLA'S P. O. V
It's been two days since Lilly and Troy had their conversation. Yesterday afternoon he texted me asking if he could hang out with Lilly today after practice and of course.....I approved. However, the emotions from two days ago came flooding back. I was terrified once again. It's awkward because I don't know how to face him. Facing him was always my biggest fear.

As I was filling up the sugar containers, my eyes watched my little girl colouring quietly on the counter. I told her last night that she will be going out with her father today but she didn't react. I don't know whether she is okay with it or she didn't care.

Then the door to the cafe open. The minute I looked up my eyes connected with blue once again as he made his way over in our direction.

"Hi", He said.
"Hi", I replied back.
However, Lilly did not respond.
"Lilly, Daddy said 'Hi' what do you say back?", I scolded her.
I watched as she turned towards him.
"Hi Troy", The little girl said.

She was not ready to call him daddy yet and I respect her decision....however I just find it a little rude.

"Ready to go?", He asked her.
"I'm not going, if mommy isn't coming", Lilly said firmly.
"Lilly what did I tell you? Daddy wants to spend time with you? Just you and Daddy", I said sighing.
"And mommy", She responded back.

Oh boy. She was not having it. She was going to put up a fight

"Mommy has to work but I bet you daddy is taking you somewhere exciting...why don't you ask him", I said.
She looked hesitant at first but managed to ask, "Where are we going?", Lilly asked.
I watched Troy pick her up and held her in his arms, "Well it's a big place where you can see all sorts of animals", He explained.
"The farm?", She guessed.
"Nope but your getting close", He said smiling.

You can tell by her facial expression that she was thinking hard of the place.

"I duno?", She said curiously.
"We are going to the zoo", He announced happily.
"Really?! With elephants and tigers?!", She asked excitedly.
"You guessed it!", He said chuckling.
"Come on! Lets go! LETS GO!", She said happily budging and shaking Troy to leave.

I couldn't help but laugh at my little girls excitement,
"One sec let me just get her things", I said as I made my way to grab her things.

As I walked into the break room I saw Jen eating her lunch.
"I am guessing he is here?", She said eating her salad.
"Yup and she is beyond excited cause she is going to the zoo", I said.
"Awww thats cute, Daddy and Daughter time", She said.
"Yup, Okay I am going to give her backpack to them since I know she is eager to leave", I said.

I quickly left the break room and made my way back out.
"Here you go", I said as I walked towards them holding out the little pink backpack.
Troy gladly accepted it.
"There is a hat and sunglasses in there. There is also a water bottle and a bear paw if she is hungry. Oh and sunscreen. Please apply some on her before you start walking around just incase she doesnt want to put her hat and sunglasses on", I instructed.
"Sure thing, So I'll bring her back for?...", He said trailing.
"Seven", I said.
"Okay, say bye to mommy", Troy said towards my little girl.
"Bye mommy! KISS!", She said leaning forward.

I gladly gave her a kiss, "Be good please...listen Daddy. I want you back in one piece okay. I don't want my baby being eaten by a Lion", I said teasing.
She giggled, "I promise I wont be eaten by a Lion", she assured.
"Okay bye bye have fun", I said.
