Broken Chapter 38: Shattered

TROY'S P. O. V
This can't be happening. I couldn't believe this was happening right now.
"Whats going on?", Jack said coming out of one of the guest room.
"Gabriella left", My mom filled him in.
"She did what?!", Sharpay said coming out of the guest room.

I was so distraught. I couldn't function.

"Daddy?", A soft quiet voice called out.

I looked up to so my daughter innocent face. What now? What am I suppose to say to her?

"Whats wrong daddy?" I watched her glance around the room knowing that she didn't see her mom around. "Where's mom?"

Silence, silence is what responded back.
Then she ran. I ran after her as she ran straight to the room Gabi stayed in.

"Mommy!", She screamed.
"Lilly!"
I watched her ran to every corner of the room as tears started to fall from her innocent eyes.
"Mommy!" She screamed to the top of her lungs.
"Lilly", I called as I took her into my embrace.
"Where's mommy? WHERE'S MY MOMMY?! I WANT MY MOMMY!", She whaled.
"Im so sorry"
"NO! I need too find her daddy, WE NEED TO PLEASE!", She cried as she held on to my shirt.
"Track her phone", Sharpay suggested.
"How?!", I said.
"Here give me your phone", She commanded.
"Its on my night stand"

Sharpay ran back to my room to retrieve my phone.  I looked down at my little girl who was trying to hold it together but all she did was cry.

"Shhhh", I whispered softly hugging her close to me.

"SHE IS AT THE AIRPORT!", Sharpay called.
"How did you?"
"Are you seriously going to question me right now?!"
"Lets go!", My dad said.
"Come on baby girl lets go bring mommy home"

We all quickly put on our shoes and sweaters as we ran out of the house.

Please. God please hold her back for a little bit longer....

GABRIELLA'S P. O. V
I paid the cab driver before exiting the cab. I slowly walked into the airport towards the ticket booth carrying the only bag I had on me.
"Hello Ma'am, what can I help you with ?"
"Can I buy a ticket please?"
"Where are you planning to go?", She asked.
"What's the cheapest flight thats leaves soon?"

She looked at me awkwardly but proceeded to look through the ticket system.

"Vancouver, B.C is leaving in 45min and cost $200", She said.
"I'll take it", I said as I pulled out the cash from the envelope that contained the money I saved.

I was paranoid that someone was watching me as I glanced around waiting for the flight ticket attendant to release my ticket.

"Ma'am are you okay?"
"Yes", I responded quickly.
"Ma'am can I have your passport?"
"Oh...um here", I said handing it to her.

I hope my passport didn't expire.

"Here you go, ummm do you have a luggage?", She said handing it back to me.
"No, I decided to pack light but Thank you", I responded. I look down at my ticket to see that my entree gate was A32.

I took on big breath as I slowly but painfully walk towards my boarding flight.

TROY'S P. O. V
"Shar is she still there?"
"Ya, it still says she is there"
I glanced at the rear view mirror to see my daughter hold her blanket tightly, scared of how today right after her fourth birthday she would lose her mother.
I turned around from the passenger seat as I reached for her hand."Were going to find mommy, I promise".
"We are almost there", My dad called out as he was the one driving.
