3 days of survival

Chapter two

Ok if I'm right we should have enough gas to get to the gas station. Ok I hope your right I replied. For most of the begging of the ride I stared out the window worried about what was coming our way. but what ever it was we were getting trough it together. We headed farther down the road and farther away from home. There was still no sight of anyone Else. Hey are you noticing that green liquidity stuff I said pointing out the window. Yeah actually I had know I yeah what that was but I thought you would know your like  really good at science she said. Well yeah but I never seen any kind of substance like this before it all most actually looks just like green mold. Oh really, oh wait no were all most empty! Hey look there it is I see the gas station I called out. Oh thank god I thought we were going to...look out!!! I yelled and grab the wheel and turn it the other way making us swarm. Ahhh you all most crashed us she said grabbing the well back from me. Hey you all most ran over that person I said pointing at a man in the road and hoping out of the car. I ran over to see if he was ok but he was not breathing! Is he okay ally said hoping outing the car behind me. I don't think so I said standing up. He's all ready gone so it would not have mattered if you hit him.  Hey yes it did at least you were looking out for him she said trying to cheer me up. What should we do with him I asked. We should get him out of the road we pulled him over into the woods were we placed him on an old tarp and raped him up. Eww this is really gross ally said complaining. I wonder what happened to him doesn't look like he's bleeding anywhere. No maybe a diseases or out or something I said worrying. We closed to tarp as we said rest in pease. At least no animals will get to him she said putting her hand on my shoulder. We need to find everyone and make sure this does not happen again I explained to her. After a minute we left and headed back to the car and started on the road buster had been in the same spot he was siting before. Okay we need to get to the gas station now ally said starting the car again. Okay yeah we should move in case what ever happened to him gets to us I said a little scared now and I know she new I was scared to. Don't worry thats not going to happen to us or any of our family she said trying to make me feel better again even though we didn't know we're they were or if they were even okay. Yeah your right lets go. We headed down the road toward the gas station once again. As we arrived it looked like the hole thing was destroyed the windows to the bathrooms were smashed, the gas tubs were all torn up and ruined it. Hey that one over there ally pointed to and moved the car up it toke her a few times to pull up right she made a few scratches on the car but we got it. Okay I think I know how to work it I've been with my parents plenty of times to know how gas stations work. I grabbed the tube and plugged it into the gas hole and hit the switch it was badly working but at least we were getting some gas. We watched the screen as it filled up. Once I realized it was done and no more was going to come out I pulled it out and shut the cap to the gas hole on the side of the car. Okay all done I said hoping back into the car were ally sat playing with the raideo. You know your probably not going to get any stations because there's no one working them. I know I was just checking seeing if anyone was on with some news about what was happening. Ally do you even know we're were going I blurted out as she began to start driving again. We are going to find our people in town  ,anyone to find out what happened she answered back. Well we should really.... Shhhh she interrupted. What... Shhhhh she interrupted again. Do you hear that she whispered. No I whispered back. There that do you hear that. Oh yeah I said it sounded like some one or some thing was behind our car shaking it. Do you think someones out there I asked. I don't know lets find out. We both turned around to find that there was nothing there. Until it jumped up and started strait at us we both screamed as loud as we could at the top of our lungs. What is that ally said in fear grabbing her knife . It looked like a zombie the only difference was this thing was moving fast running on its hands and feet just like a dog would. Is that a human i yelled. I don't know but let's get out of here. Just then it seemed to have disappeared but we were wrong it piped right up next to my window with its ear close to it. Wait I don't think it can see so all we have to do is be quiet I  suggested.  I think it's to late for that she said as many more about 6 more of those things surrounded are car. Now be quiet she said putting her hand over my mouth. I just Shook my head. Buster was starting to bark ally told him to be quit down. My heart was pounding fast now as I sat there and tried to be calm we both did. Buster sat there and stared out the window starting to growl. Omg just go away ally whispered. They seemed to have stopped going as crazy as before but they definitely new we were in there. Look there stepping back now they were just on there two feet all of them the starred at us even though it looked like they couldn't see us. Then right then they got back on both there hands and feet and ran right into the car making it shake even more. My heart pounded even faster now. Go go get us out of here I shouted to ally. I don't want to run them over. There like  zombies creators there all ready dead it does not matter just go! Ok ok she said as she turned the steering wheel they moved out if the way in the front making the path clear. Go go now I yelled! She quickly Flored it and pulled out of the gas station. There following us faster I yelled, buster was barking like crazy now. They ran on there hands and feet faster then any human could run they were fast! Ahhhh there getting closer she screamed! She started to speed even more. Woo It's working were losing them keep going I said. They were now way behind us they were fast but not faster then ally's moms car witch was good. We all most lost them keep going I yelled again. Then at that point they were out of sight. Wow thank god there gone we both said. My heart slowed down now from pounding very fast and ally slowed down a little. What were those she she asked in a scared way. I have no idea but I guess now we know what happened. You really think this was a zombie apocalypse she asked. I'm not sure but that greenish shiny stuff was all over those things so I'm guessing it's dangerous and we should stay away from it. Ok yeah that's probably a good idea she said back not taking her eyes off the road. I looked at buster I could tell he was scared to the was his head was down and his eyes were sad. Oh it's going to be okay buddy I said reaching back to pet him he went to lick my hand. After a wile I pulled it back to prevent it from falling asleep. We reached down town now we're all the shopping plaza's and super market and other stores were. Well if people are anywhere then there hear the main part of town but still it looked deserted. We headed by all the stores as we parked the car. We hoped out and I opened the back four buster to follow. He probably had to go to the bathroom by now. You know Bryan your the one who wants to be a scientists you should know what's going on right ally said nervously looking around to see if anyone was there. I know but scientists don't study zombies or whatever they were i explained to her. Hey are you getting hungry she asked out of no were. Yeah actually I kinda why I asked. Because look there's the best bakery in town right over there. We can't just steal and anyway we have our own food. Yeah but again no one is here they won't know  come on no one will know or care it's not like we're stealing a flat screen tv or something. Ok fine we will only steal like a muffin or some cookies or something. Hey don't think of it as stealing because there no one here it does not really count I don't think there worried about a few muffins and cookies right now. That's true I said. Ok let's go then she said running toward the bakery. Ok so how are we going to get in. That's why I brought a crow bar she said pulling it out of her backpack. Wait why how were... You know what I don't even what to know I said. Ok stand back she said pushing on the door with slot of force trying to pry it open. It took a few try's but she got it. She pushed the door open and flipped the light switch on it had been a mess just like our houses had been. The tables were tipped over and there were pastries all over the ground. most of them were still in the glass containers. Wow jackpot ally said running over to the sugar, glazed, chocolate, and oatmeal cookies. She all ways loved cookies every time I went over her house she was all ways eating some kind of cookie and her cabinets were full of them. Wow those cinnamon buns look so good I pointed out. Help your self she said all ready staring to shove cookies down her throat. Okay why not i said grabbing a couple. Ok we should not stay that long though I said. We should look around for more valuable things we could use I explained. She did not really answer just gobbled down her cookies. Eventually she said ok. But I know she was just concerned about her cookies right now. Once we were finished our treats we headed out around to more shops. One of the stores we passed was game stop I was really tempted to stop in but we had to get other things and did not have the time. Hey I know you want to stop in there you can if you want she said as I was looking in the window. No it's fine we don't have to let's just get what ever Else we need then go. Hey do you see that ally said pointing to a store across the road. Oh yeah the lights are on that's weird. Do you think someone's there. Only One way to find out. We crossed the street headed over to the store it was a Clothes store. We slightly opened the door we looked around we didn't see anyone then a man quietly walking over behind us. We jumped as he started us We both backed up ally held the knife in her backpack just Incase. Who are you I said stepping further back . My name is Doctor James he said and I mean you no harm. I could tell he saw we were scared. Wait a minute your that scientists that is all ways in the news about some crazy impossible experiment. Wow so you have heard of me said with a big smile. I'm so glad I finally found some one else I thought every one was gone is it just you guys he asked. Well us and my dog I said opening the door as buster came in. So do you know what happened I asked. Not exactly but I have some theories why don't we head back to my lab and I'll show you. Wait how do we know we can trust you I asked stepping back again. Because I'm the only other person left in town. How do you know that ally blurred out. I've been up and down these streets of the town all most twice now looking for more answers. Yeah our streets are off the highway I explained. Oh yeah I saw a bunch of crawlers over there. Crawlers allayed asked confused. You know those zombie like things you haven seen them yet? No no we have they all most got into our cars and almost scared us to death . Oh yeah they are vicious, well hey let's head over to my lab and if you do see any green shiny substance don't touch it Doctor James explained. Yeah we all ready got that ally replied opening the door as me buster and now Doctor James followed. I Wasn't sure if we could just this but but it was out only option right now.
