Chapter eighteen

I woke up tired and my vision was blurry I forgot what had happened and I couldn't tell were I was until I saw clearly I was on a buss and then I screamed at the top of my lungs. Bryan savanna called out walking down the isle and siting next to me. What the hell happened were are we what is this, is Jonathan dead I said trying to  remembering  everything that had just happened. It's fine calm down we are here were in the bus going to nasa now Doctor James and ally walked up and sitting in the seats in front of us. Wait what really how did we get here I asked confused. Well you know Jonathan's friend the one that came from nasa well he helped us. Sargent Neville I asked. Yes and guess what he took control scone Jonathan was basically supposed to be next for leader if he died Sargent Neville was like his best friend so he took control but don't worry he's fixing everything that the boss did and has done. Wow really that's great but now what is Johnson dead I asked crying a little. Yeah I know I've been sad the hole 3 hours you've been out ally said. Wow what 3 hours! I said shocked. Wow take it easy you were just knocked out calm down savanna said. I was just kicked out it has been tree hours that's long. Well actually not 3 hours more like 2 hours and a 40 mins Doctor James said. That's still long did I miss a lot? No just that me and savanna had to carry you until we got to Doctor James you should be thankful ally laughed a little. Well besides that anything big. Well the guards that we're hurting people like the one that punched me were killed because of being on the bosses side Doctor James explained. But how do they know who was bad and not bad they were just doing what they had to, to survive right I said. Well they know who was bad and good they all new each other and since it's being run by someone good now the bad guards were eliminated he said. I stopped asking questions for a minute and looked around. I looked trough the back of the bus to see an endless path of road with trees on either side that followed it all way back as far as I can see. I then asked how long have we been driving and who was even is driving? Wow you really do have a lot of questions don't you worry  boy Doctor James said giving a slight smile. We have been driving about an hour and a half the rest we were back at the mall savanna Said. Yeah and Jonathan's brother is driving ally added. Wait what he has a brother and does he know what happened! I asked nervously. Yes and yes he does geez calm down ally said. Well is he mad what if he try's to kill us for what we did I whispered and looked up ahead were he was driving. We're fine and plus they shoot him right before we threw the grenade remember savanna said, but I didn't it had all happened so fast I couldn't remember all the details. Yeah Bryan you have nothing to worry he's up there he has agreed to bring us safely to nasa and he won't hurt us Doctor James explained. Oh really is that so we herd up in the fronting the bus. Suddenly the bus wasn't moving any more and Jonathan's brother was getting up now and walking toward us. He looked angry and was moving fast. What's wrong ally asked did the bus break down? What's wrong is you, you killed my brother my only family that I new was alive and you let him get killed he said now pulling a gun from his pocket. Wow wow let's not doing anything hasty he sacrificed him self we tried to stop we couldn't ally yelled. Look i know your mad I would be to if any of my family died but you need to calm down and not take your anger out on others savanna explained. No it's happening it all makes sense that's why he's doing this all of a sudden Doctor James said randomly. What is happening I asked confused. That he said pointing out the window we all turned and starred out even Jonathan's brother. At first I couldn't see anything but then I noticed a few clouds of green dust floating trough the air. What is that ally asked. It's the 8qi I feared this would happen it's getting stronger and affecting his head bringing out his true anger Doctor James explained. No it's not I'm just trying to get vengeance for what you have done now I'm going to start by killing the one who mad this happen the dog. He pointed his gun to busters head. No stop please don't I said running over to him and pulling him away. No I'm wrong it wasn't the poor dogs fault it is yours he said now aiming the gun toward me. As he did Doctor James quickly shot his arm making him drop the gun. Agh son of a bitch he screamed in pain. Now everyone close the windows that are open quickly before any of us start to get affected Doctor James said. Wait what I thought we were immune ally said. Maybe when it was not as powerful in stage one but now it's grown and who knows what will happen. We didn't hesitate we closed ever single window that was open as Doctor James brother lied on the ground in pain holding his arm just as I had when I sprained my arm. But that felt like forever ago now we had to focus on two things survival and finding our family's. Ok there all closed I know my way to nasa I will drive savanna keep and eye on him Doctor James said throwing her a gun. We can't just leave him like this in pain we got to help him I explained. Here this might help ally said running over to a bag and grabbing some paper towels that were stuffed in it. She grabbed his arm as he let out a loud scream and she rapped it around his arm to stop the bleeding. Thank you he whispered but still in pain. I watched him then Doctor James as he drove I couldn't believe how tough he has gotten and how brave. I'm sorry I finally said to him as he held his arm with the bandage. Wha he said trying to talk but he was in to much pain. This is all my fault your brother is dead because of me i should have stopped him I should have saved him instead of buster and much as I love that dog Jonathan did not deserve to die I said as tears filled my eyes. No it's not your fault he was going to kill him anyway it's my fault I trough the grenade savanna said. No no it's.... My fault Jonathan's brother said stuttering a little. I should have been looking out for him but instead I was so busy looking for the rest of our family who are probably turned into crawlers he said. No maybe not maybe there up in space like our parents, we have to bring him guys we have to make up for killing his brother I explained. I actually really didn't mean to hurt you guys I don't know what has gotten into me he said standing up hurting still. No I know you meant no harm but the 8qi did and it's going to kill us sooner than later so if we get up into space well have a better chance of living Doctor James said. Wait a minute does that mean everyone down here is going to die that's the only reason you want to get up there you just don't want to die ally said. What no of course not I never new it was going to get this strong and I care about you kids I would have left you if I didn't I want to see my parents to he said. Umm guys what is that I pointed outside. Doctor James stopped the bus and we all looked out a window. We watched as street signs, garbage, and a few cars started to float up. No shit it's another gravity loss everyone out now run to a tree and grab on he yelled! Ally and I ran out first then savanna and Doctor James grabbed Jonathan's brother. we sprinted fast as fast as we could. I felt my feet coming off the ground like I was on the moon or something. We started lifting up higher and higher off the ground as we got closer to the trees on the side of the road. Right as we almost were about to float off into the sky I caught ahold of of a branch. Savanna grabbed my leg and ally grabbed hers. Doctor James and Jonathan's brother whose name I still didn't know we're able to stay down a little long because both of them together had more weight. Eventually they caught ahold of a branch below us before it was to late thankfully. Now what I don't think we can hold on for much longer I said. Well your going to have to we don't have any of those gravitational boots that they have at nasa Doctor James said. Wait hold on they actually have those ally said so shocked. Ummm guys I totally forgot I'm so stupid buster is still in the bus no I cried out. Well if I'm right and this gravity loss is as short as the others he'll be fine but if it's anything like the others there's another one coming right after it he said. So then what he had to run real fast over and get buster I'm not letting him do that savanna demanded. It got stronger and we all started loading our grip. No please help I screamed even though no one could help us right now. My had its slipping  no no! A few more seconds and... Bam there it went right as it came off the tree and me, savanna, and ally went up. Then after a few seconds there was a huge drop. The Gravity was back and we fell about 10 feet down. We were all fine but I had no idea if buster was and no time to wast either. I ran over to the bus to see him whimpering in the corner I pulled him close and put my arms around him. It's ok buddy I got you it's going to be ok but come on now before another gravity loss comes and this bus gets swooped away. I began running and assumed he would follow but this time he wouldn't. Buster come on boy quickly I called. He stood there frightened I didn't know if the 8qi was affecting him or if he was just frightened. It didn't matter all that mattered was I get him and he's safe. That's exactly what I did I began pulling his collar and he new what that meant and ran with me. I wrapped my arm around a tree and my other arm around buster. Savanna and ally had all ready climbed back into the tree and Doctor James and Jonathan's brother were still on the same spot. We waited for 10 minutes but nothing happened. Ok I think we should just go I don't thing it's going to happen again ally said hopping out of the tree. Wait ally no don't its coming Doctor James screamed. I saw her get lifted off her feet but she got a hold of buster and wrapped her arm around him just as I did. It was so hard to hold on even more than last time. But we did and this one only lasted about 6 minutes. After it was over we rushed to the bus hoping there was no other gravity loss but we had to get to nasa Jonathan's brother said the rocket is leaving tomorrow afternoon and it was getting dark out. We took our seats and proceeded to the road. When something unordinary happened. Jonathan's brother screamed with fear and excitement. What is it savanna said running over. My cut look it's healed it's perfectly fine how is that possible. Omg I see it to ally said. Do you think it's the 8qi affecting us do you think it can heal? Yeah I think it can how extraordinary Doctor James said walking over and checking it. Please don't hurt me again. I won't because I know you won't hurt me. This is bad this is really bad Doctor James said siting back down and hitting the gas. Why is this so bad he's ok now ally said. it might have healed him but there 8ai in his system and it won't be long until it takes control of him. We all looked at each other in fear then out the window and we saw nasa but we were not as trilled as we hoped to be we were even more nurvous then ever.
