Chapter fifteen

Wahoo were out thank you no power ally screamed. Okay calm down there still After us I can see them from behind we got to move faster Jonathan said. We did as he said buster took the lead sprinting faster and faster ahead. That's why he was always so good at chasing the mail man when he came. There gaining on us ally said shouted. Okay then i will get ride of them he pulled out his gun and began to shot them one by one they went down. Wow you got good aim I said. Yep well that's what you get for being in the navy he says. Wait you are in the navy I asked. Yea we all were and the boss he was one of our leaders he made this resistance group. I know that I didn't know you were all in the navy tho. Yeah well we were. Okay right now we should just focus on running for our lives! We didn't argue with him just ran witch was kinda hard in the dark. Umm Jonathan it might be dark but the guards are still... I know I see them I got it Jonathan said cutting Doctor James off. What do we do I asked nicely because I could tell Jonathan was pissed that he lost his job and I new it was all our fault. I know what to do he said and grabbed his gun and began shooting back at them. He kept on missing but soon enough he hit too guards. Wait what are you doing I though you just said back there you were mad that he killed Trent know you are killing them ally asked. I know what I said but what they are doing is wrong and they are going to kill us so there's not much we can do. We ran further down the hall and further away from Windows getting darker and darker. Okay well I think a few more are gaining on us she said now trying to help. I see them but not for long he began shooting he missed them this time. There getting closer give it to me ally demanded. Your crazy I'm not giving a gun to a 12 year old girl. Umm I'm fourteen for your information and come on I'm good trust me. Oh shit now there really shooting Doctor James said stating the obvious. Okay fine be careful he said handing her another gun he had on the side of his belt. Your giving the gun to her and not me Doctor James said surprised. Oh I've seen you shoot you know when you tried to kill the boss and be a hero yea lets see what she can do he said back. She began shooting along with Jonathan. Yes I hit a few nice this is just like call of duty except with out a score telling how much kills you have and how many deaths you have ally said. Okay good keep it up were all most to the exit I'm thinking off Jonathan said. No stop everyone look we got to help all those kids look we all stopped ones again In front of the mattress store I was not giving up on them not now! Listen to me Bryan we can't help them all its I'm possible Jonathan said I know you just want to tell but there's a time were you got to worry about yourself when you can't worry about others. No that's not true in helping them and I know exactly how. How do we get outside and around to that door over there I said pointing to the door in the back of the store the one leading outside. Why what will that do let the kids escape they will just stop us ally said. Yea well it will also bring in 8qi and they are not amune to it so they will die and we can get the kids out safely. Okay well Bryan I hate to let you down but Jonathan is right we don't have time for this ally said. We have to please guys come on I said practically begging them. Fine let's do it they don't deserve this and we will have enough time to get the kids out before they all turn into crawlers Doctor James explained. Yea see guys we can do this common I said trying to get them to help. Wait hold on Jonathan said getting his gun out and shooting a few guards that tried to shoot us. He stopped for a minute then looked over at Doctor James then me and finely said okay fine let's do it. Yes okay good lets go then I said. He told us to follow him out and around to the door with out any guards noticing. This is crazy were so caught I can't believe you agreed to this Jonathan ally said. I couldn't tell if she was angry or nervous or both! Look Bryan's got a point these kids don't deserve this and with the power off this is probably the only chance we will get to save them. Okay whatever let's just go fast. Wait were are we going to bring them when we do get them out Doctor James said putting his hand I front of the door before Jonathan could open it. I know a guy who would be willing to help but just leave that up to me okay let's just get them out. Wait.... What Jonathan said before ally could speak. Is the doors on the other side still closed cause the 8qi will go trough. Yes yes there still closed but if your concerned you can go watch it and make sure no one opens them. She quickly ran inside and around to the doors in the mall and did as Jonathan said. Okay good now we won't get a million questions he said laughing a little. He slowly opened the door it was a loud screechy door it was hard for no one to notice. Then right when someone did he yanked the door all they open. The Doctors and nurses ran as fast over to try and stop us but Jonathan fought them. He punched and kicked he had a bunch of moves probably because he was in the navy. He drop kicked a few as them that came over it was incredible what he was doing. He flipped a few and twisted some of there arms backwards. It was like I was watching one of those really intense action movies. He was not stoping he just kept on fighting them. Luckily none of them really had any fighting experience but that was a good thing. Eventually they stopped for a minute and stared then fell, fell to the ground gasping for air all of them. They tried to get to the door ally was at but they were to week thanks to the 8qi. Okay kids come on your going to be okay we need to go before these people hurt you Jonathan said. Most of them were scared and did not want to come. The little ones did, there were 10 of them that were running over. Eventually the others followed even the teens. As they were all coming out two guards came from behind us. We got our weapons ready but Jonathan said hold it. Frank Jackson there you guys are I need you to help us with some thing you got to take these kids somewhere safe. You got it Johnny they said patting him on the back. Okay kids your going to be okay those doctors and nurses can't hurt you anymore. What are you talking about they didn't hurt us a girl said walking up. Yes they did well not to you guys yet they were draining your blood. Is that why my sister isn't here a little boy said crying. I'm not sure but they have been killing kids so you guys need to leave now before anyone notices quickly Jonathan explained. Guys you need to go right now ally said running out from inside. What happened ally what's going on. She stopped to catch her breath. A few guards saw you they went... She paused for a minute... Went to go get the boss and back up. Oh shit okay kids the guards are coming if you want to be safe you need to go right now. Some kids followed Jonathan's friends but a few stayed back the older ones. The ones about our age. We're not going with you we can't trust you. Your the ones who have been rebeling a girl said. Okay fine if you want to stay back here and die have fun but ones they get you its over I said. Yeah come on Guys you have to trust them we did we are not trying to hurt you were the good guys here ally explained. A few more kids followed, there were 8 kids now let that didn't follow. Okay well your loss were leaving now a bus pulled up behind them it looked like the one we missed earlier. How did you get that bus ally asked confused. They told her it was not important but what was is getting out of here. The kids all got on board the bus except the 8 that stayed back. We are not going sorry one of them said. I think you want to look ally screamed as guards raced out one after the other. There here to rescue us from you guys. They believed that until they began shooting. Stop right there your not leaving they yelled. Oh crap what are they doing a girl yelled. There shooting us another kid said. Yeah you still think there here to help you. No they'll said running for the bus. Go go Jonathan yelled ones more shooting them. Ally got the gun he gave her and began shooting alongside him. Ally what are you doing get on that bus now. No I said for her standing on the other side of him. Kid your going to get your self killed. No were not and were not leaving we still need to get to nasa. I don't think you understand this but were under lockdown and the powers off so there not sending anyone else to nasa for a while until they can fix this mess. A few guards went down we all backed up and ducked as they continued to shoot. The bus guys it's leaving we should probably go Doctor James said. Why we need to get to nasa though ally said. Are you sure there it goes it could be our only chance come on he said trying to get us to come. You can go I'm not leaving ally said shooting. Grenade Jonathan said grabbing us and pulling us all bAck. I saw them trough as we ran as fast as we can the grenade flew all the way back here. I grabbed busters collar and pulled him back along with us. Doctor James grabbed ally and pulled her back as she was shooting. It was all happening so fast even though It felt like we were in slow motion. The grenade goes off me ally fall down fast to the ground. We see the buss taking off behind us leaving us behind. Many guards are dead now but a few are running over. I look around as see Doctor James, Jonathan and ally are all knocked out, I can barely hear anything just a ringing noise I grabbed Jonathan's gun. I fire and shoot both the guards down as they shoot back. But there down now like the rest of the guards. There nothing I can do I fall back and close my eyes I'm to week to move or get up I thought this was the end.
