3 days of survival

Chapter twelve

As we reached ground level we looked around carefully seeing if anyone noticed us or was looking for us. Oh great now were being hunted like some criminals on the lose ally said. It's okay we're fine we just need to get to that buss now and then we will be safe and into space headed for our parents. Yeah he's right Doctor James said agreeing with me. You know I've been thinking about this a lot lately and well mostly worrying I mean how could anyone not. But what if there not alive and the aliens all ready did something to them ally said wiping a few tears from her eyes. I did not say anything back and neither did Doctor James. Until he finally said no no don't think like that you have to stay positive and hope for the best I don't think they have done anything to them yet I think if anything there using them. Oh that's even worse our parents are being experimented on ally said trying to stop the tears from falling down her face. I've never really Seen her cry this much before maybe a little here in there like when her and Bradley broke up. I mean they got back together like a week after. But she's usually way stronger. No it's okay I'm sure they will be fine and....no! No! There coming I said interrupting Doctor James speech. The guards rushed out of the elevator, we moved farther away trying not to be seen. We made a turn into a store called barns and noble witch is a book store and I'm not really big into books unless they have to do with science or maybe even comics but that's doesn't matter right now. As we got in it was being used as some kind of training area for the guards because of the large amount of space in there it was a huge mess bookcases tipped over and books spread out. All the kids toys everywhere and cafe was absolutely destroyed just like the bakery we broke into earlier. I had just realized how many places we had been to today so far it's more than I've even been when I toke a trip to the mall and I will just say everytime I go into the mall I go in all most every store except for the girly ones. Over there Doctor James whispered as we snuck past the gaurds talking and having some kind of meeting we ducked behind a bookcase right behind were they were talking. I couldn't help but listen in and hear them talking about us! One guy said yeah there like criminals the boss wants them for everything they've done. Another guy said yeah I heard they were the ones that let all the dogs lose. Yeah and I heard they were the ones who let the crawlers in another guy said. Yeah I can't believe there Rebelling like this I mean I new someone would eventually cause what there doing is a little Insane. Yeah if I could I would help them and go agenst the boss my self but we all know what he would would do. Yeah what he told us from the beginning since we got here. I stoped listening after that I noticed ally and Doctor James we're listening to and maybe even buster he was just siting patently waiting until we started to move again. Omg did u guys just here all that ally asked shocked. Yeah we're like some kind of heros or criminals I said. I never meant for this to happen we were just trying to stay together Doctor James said. oh no if the boss guy they are talking about gets us were so done I said more nervous than ever now. Well at least lets ask them and see if they can help cause obviously they don't like him or this hole thing either ally suggested. No that's a terrible idea I said back to her. So then what we're going to stay here forever? No we just need to find another way to distract them or something. We probably all ready missed the bus and now we're stuck here until another one comes which could be like weeks ally barked out. Fine you go risk it but I'm staying here. Okay fine whatever she said standing up flipping her hair back and walking around the book shelf. Right as she began to turn stopped and turned around as another guard walked in. She began to move back slowly so no one would see. We watched as the guard aproched the others. He looked very familiar but we couldn't tell by his mask. That is until he took it off. Yes it's Jonathan I said and ally covered my mouth telling me to be quite. She removed her hand and we listened. He was talking about us asking them if they have seen us! If you do find them the boss needs them so you are to report them to me he said. Wait if the boss needs them why do we have to give them to you a guy said. Because that was his command and plus I know them to. Oh well we will keep an eye out then a guy said. As he began to leave we realized we had to get his attention some how and fast. I looked around and grabbed a book off a shelf. I peaked around the corner to see if any guards were watching and I slid the book right across the floor and it hit his foot. Wow nice shot Bryan ally said giving me a high five. He looked around then at the guards then over at us. He sorta smiled but I couldn't tell if he was happy or annoyed. He picked up the book and walked over to us not trying to get the other guards attention. As he Nealed down In front of us he said oh thank goodness you all are okay! Thanks we are so glad to see... Are you out of your freaking minds he said cutting Doctor James off. Nice to see you to ally said sarcastically. look I know you guys don't realize it but you are being hunted and not just by the guards the boss the guy who is In charge here and trust me you don't want to mess with him. We're sorry Doctor James said but we had to stick together. I know okay it's fine but now you guys can't say here anymore you have to get on that buss. So we didn't miss it I said happily. Yeah thanks to me I delayed it a little longer told them a few more people needed to come and they listen to me. So you can thank me later Jonathan said. Okay so how much time do we have ally asked. Well the bus is leaving at 11:00 and its 10:30 now he said. So we obviously have no time to waste let's get out of here he said. He grabbed my arm and ally's and told Doctor James to follow us behind with busters . As he walked out from behind the bookcase he said aha I thought I herd some rumbling behind the book case and I found them trying to run away. Oh wow they were here the hole time I had no idea one guy said. Yep and now they are going strait to the boss. Wait do you think you should be doing this I mean they could help us rebel agents the boss. Are you saying your not on his side because I could have you reported to him right now. No no need for that I'm just saying if you wanted to he said scared. Okay I thought so he pulled us out the door as Doctor James and buster followed us. We started walking the way we came from were we let all the crawlers in. I didn't think it looked realistic that only one guard was talking us. Even though Doctor James was very muscular I could tell he probably worked out at a gym you know before the apocalypse. So he could probably beat us all up if he wanted to. Doctor James was his size but skinnier and not as muscular just smart. Anyway the rest of the walk we didn't say anything just watched as guards came up to us and asked if Jonathan needs help or said good job you cought them the boss will be happy. We eventually got back up were we where when we let all the crawlers in. There were no guards by the door and the door had been sealed shut with   wood and nails probably to prevent any of the 8qi from getting in. Oh dam they sealed this all up we have to find another exit quickly Jonathan said. There's another one just down the escalator and off to the left there Doctor James said. All right then let's head there now. As we went back down again I noticed some people doing some thing there was a group of people walking around smashing things as guards came after them it look as if they were angry. You see that Jonathan said that's what you have done ever since you rebelled people have started to do the same. All though guards are now on high alert. Wow really I never new that we could be come some sorta leaders ally said shocked. Yeah this is crazy I didn't think this could happen Doctor James added. I did not say anything just watched as we walked toward the exit. When we aproched the door Jonathan put his mask on so he didn't have to breath the 8qi. Okay this is were I must let you go on your own if you exit here and make a right and walk all the way down to jcpenny you will find a buss parked out there waiting for you. Wait don't they know we're like criminals ally asked. No it's some one from nasa they don't know what's Ben going on in hear like what the boss is doing. Wow that's terrible we have to tell them. No it's fine we will take care of it and do whatever we can. you have to worry about getting on that bus and fast you only have 10 mins left. Okay then thank you Jonathan for everything Doctor James said. Yeah thanks you helped us so much ally added. Thanks you finally given us an opportunity to find our parents I said. Awe well guys Im just hear to help I'm going to miss you even though you have been big pains in my ass he said laughing. but hey maybe we will see each other again some day. Yeah I hope so I said laughing back. Now go go find your parents in space. Okay goodbye we all said and headed out and began to head toward the bus. As we walked and got closer we saw the bus ahead. We walked for a bit until we got closer. It was still parked and we thought we would make it In time. Until we saw the lights go on and it started to move a little we were not walking anymore we ran! Hey stop wait we need to get on we all yelled out. We yelled louder and louder as it moved father and farther away. No no come on we need to get on stop! But it was no good no one noticed us it got further and further away until we could not see it anymore we had just missed the bus our only opertonaty for a while to get onto the spaceship and it had all happened so fast.
