Chapter nine

Me and ally and a few other kids held onto the sides of a mattress waiting until there was no more gravity. We saw a man walk in and when he did he all ready had a bunch of Doctors yelling at him to grab onto something. The man had a gas mask and gravity shoes just like Jonathan did. That is when I realized it was him. He cam over and grabbed onto a side next to me. I started at him until he whispered to me. Hey Bryan it's me Jonathan I need to tell you something. What the heck are you doing here I whispered trying not to draw attention. But ally noticed and was now moving over toward us. Jonathan she asked slowly moving over. Yes but I'm here to warn you there using kids blood for the adults so they can be immune. What kind of sicko wants to drain kids blood for there selfs ally asked. So they can try and win the war and they cant do that if they constantly have to go back for oxygen. So you're with this I asked. No no I'm way against it that's why I came to warn you he said. So even if we can get out of here what happens to all these Innocent kids ally asked. I will try my best but the important thing is you get out now. Even if we do we're will we go ally asked again. There bringing a buss that will be carrying only certain people. People that are strong a trained and bringing them to nasa to be launched up into space in a rocket. So your saying we can go up there I asked. Well I know how much your family's means to you and... The gravity loss cut him off and and we all startedcto move up as we hung onto the mattress our legs went flying in the air. Of course Jonathan had gravity boots. He grabbed me and ally and held onto us tightly. Now do you want to go or not cause the buss leaves late tonight he whispered. I looked around at all the innocent kids about to be drained of all there blood after the gravity was back. Yeah let's go but Doctor James comes with us ally demanded. Yeah and buster I added. Ok ok but you will have to break them out and I will do the rest he said handing me a walkie-talkie. We will stay in contact he said. I could feel his grip was not going to last much longer so I hoped that gravity would be back soon like it was the last time. Oh no I'm loosing my grip ally said breaking free from his arm. He quickly grabbed her hand and held tightly as she went flying up. Ahh she screamed. Don't worry I'm not letting go I would never he said. Why are you helping us so much seriously I asked. Because I care about you and think your strong and can help with this war he said staring at me. Many people were flying to the roof now screaming and calling for help. But even if they fell they would be landing on the soft cushiony mattresses. It was only a matter of time before we were falling back to the ground felling like some one was pulling us down again. You all right ally I asked. Yeah I'm fine come on let's get out of here before any of those Doctors notice she said practically running out the door. We followed behind her looking back to see if any one had noticed. He pushed us along acting like we were his prisoners witch made sense. A few Guards asked were we were going and he told them that we were resisting the treatment so I'm taking them in. Hey we're exactly do they take all the criminals I asked. That you do not want to know he said still holding our arms and telling us to try and struggle getting away when ever a guard walked by. Once we reached a hall way were no one was down he let go of us a began to talk. Ok I want you to listen to me very closely. Once you find a way to get your friend out you are going to go up stairs on the second floor and go past footlocker and then make a right to the nearest exit he said. Wait won't there be guards. Yes but once you get there you will see them and know exactly what to do he said smiling. What who is them? I asked confused. You will knows what to do now I got to go I'm supposed to be on that bus. You don't have that much time you need to Hurry and use your time wisely he said. Ok good luck I have to go he said once again heading the other way. Wait Jonathan ally said getting his attention. Yes he said quickly stoping and turning around. Thank you for everything you did not have to help us but you did so thank you she said again. It was my pleasure he said now continuing the same way he was going. Me and ally came out of the hall way and started down the way we saw the guard take Doctor James earlier. We stayed in big groups of people traveling. There was a lot more people then I would ever have expected. It all most looked like a normal mall day except mostly all the stores were closed and there were Giant air tubes every were and people looked like prisoners. As we past the fro yo place it reminded me of something. Me and ally and a couple other friends rushing to get frozen yogurt after the movie we had just saw this was about a week ago but now felt like forever ago. After every thing that had happened today. I started to remembering other times I was here it actually kinda made me feel happy for once today. There it is ally said pointing over to were work out world was. Ok so you got a plan she asked cause I got nothing right now. We stayed low and made our way into one of those photo booths in the middle of the hall way. Ok so I have no idea how were getting in there past all that security. Maybe we can wait for another gravity loss ally suggested. No it could be hours before another one. So then what is it huh we go in and nock out all those guys cause I'm pretty sure If they even punch us once were out. Ally was probably right those guys were like 6 feet and all jacked like those guys you see on American ninja warrior. We thought for a wile still peaking out of the photo booth when I saw buster! He was all the way in the back in a glass room witch looked like a kickboxing class well was a kickboxing class. That's when I got the idea another one I was not that sure of. Ok ally I think I got it see that glass room back there I pointed out. Yeah oh buster is there! Yeah and you see all those other dogs well maybe if we can get them out some how we can create a distraction and get Doctor James out to. Well that sounds possible except how are we going to get the dogs out. maybe we don't have to I said smiling again. Oh what are we just going to send crawlers in there to open it she said sarcastically. No look there's Doctor James I said point over to a treadmill he was on. How are we going to get his attention tho? I slowly walked out of the photo both as ally tried to pull me back in. I ran up to the glass and began to knock lightly across from Doctor James. Bryan get back here are you trying to get caught she whispered from behind me. But just then Doctor James looked directly at me. He started to mouth words like what are you doing here, and your going to get caught. But I started to mouth words to and do hand mountains to show what we were trying to do. I mouthed out get buster out of the room and pointed to it. At first he did not understand but then he new what I was saying. I kept looking back at the guards but none of them had noticed me. I kept poking to the door. And eventually he got off his treadmill and walked over there. I watched as he slowly moved watching the guards so he didn't get caught. There was a water machine right over there so when ever the guards would look around he would grab a drink of water. Not before long he reached for the door knob and slowly opened it when a scream came from the other side of the room. Hey what do you think tote doing. Then there was no going back he yanked the door wide open and called for the dogs as they ran out one by one filling the room. It was amazing that he just did that and now ally was coming behind me watching as the guards ran after all the dogs. Most of them were barking and growling except for buster he noticed me and came running out. I gave him a hug and petted him. Me and ally ran in trough all the commotion that was going on I hear a few guards on walkie-talkies calling for back up. We quickly reached Doctor James and started toward the exit once again. I felt bad at what we just did but it was worth it to get them back. Wow nice plan Bryan that really worked huh but wait how did you get out he asked. Jonathan he gave us instructions witch reminds me we have to get up to the second level and fast we don't have that much time. What are you talking about he asked confused. I will explain on the way common I said as we started to run down the hall way. We took one look back and saw dogs all over the place and guards trying to catch them. We definitely did not want to hang around here especially cause they know Doctor James did this. Come on you guys lets go ally ordered. We caught up to her and headed toward the escalator witch had been turned off. We past many stores and even the mattress store I did not want to look at that again all those innocent kids. But doctor James did and looked conceded. What's happening in there is that we're you guys were he asked pointing over. Yes and all there doing is just draining innocent kids blood ally said madly and sad at the same time. Oh well good thing you got out! Yeah but they all didn't if I could I would totally help them ally said. Ok guys I know I would help them to but we have to go we're going to miss the bus I explained. Then bus? Doctor James asked more confused than ever. Yes now come on there's no time to explain I told him. And we headed up the escalator not looking back we just kept on moving to what ever awaits up beyond the door we were heading to.
