“Who?” I asked and he gave me an apologetic look.

“No one. Its none of my business to tell you anyways.” He replied. “Are you hungry? Let’s go get breakfast.”

I nodded and followed home back down the hallways and stairs to the kitchen. I was still curious but the girl though. No one was there and I couldn’t help but wonder why. Where were the other boys?

“Ash, who is Mary-Ann Katherine?” I asked and Ash sighed.

“I shouldn’t have said anything. Adam will break my limbs, please for my sake, don’t make me tell you.” There was so much fear in his eyes that I didn’t want to force him.

“Where is Adam, anyways?” I asked as he pulled out a few eggs from the fridge.

“He had stuff to take care of. Don’t worry, love. He’ll be back soon to romance you.” He said with a wink and I blushed a deep red colour and looked away. Ash looked happy for the change in topic. He made us omelettes and toast to eat and I was happy with that. I didn’t need any more.

“Fall, is your cellphone ring tone go like ‘I’ll be your guardian angel’? Or something like that?”

“Yea, why?” I asked as I took a bite of my toast.

“It’s ringing.” He smiled at me ‘I’m guessing it’s your parents.”

My mouth dropped as I strained to hear my cell phone but I couldn’t hear it. I knew exactly where it was; the aquamarine room. How the hell had he heard it when it was so far away? I wanted nothing more than to run up and find my phone but I had no idea where it was.

“You can hear it?” I asked and he nodded. I was about to question him further but Adam came in and every coherent though flew out of my head. He was standing there in a black jacket and lots of snow in his hair and it was slowly starting to melt and make his hair damp. The cold had made his skin pale and his nose pink; it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. He looked at me up and down and I realized that I was still wearing his shirt.

“Good morning.” I said cheerfully. He looked over at me with an odd look but nodded anyways.

“Things are fine outside. Everything was taken care of and nothing was damaged.” Adam told Ash as he peeled off his jacket and sat on the chair opposite mine. I assumed they were talking about their property; maybe a tree or something had fallen because of the storm?

“Thank god. I was so worried!” Ash put a hand to his heart as he got a plate of food ready for Adam.

“Smells good, Ash.” Adam smiled at him and Ash smiled back. It felt good to see him so happy. I liked happy Adam better than angry Adam.

“Danke, liebe.”  Ash said and I furrowed my eyebrows. What the hell did he just say and what language did he say it in?

“What?” I asked and Ash looked over at me.

“Oh, I said ‘thank you, love’ in German.”

“You know German?” I asked with an awestruck look.
