I stared at him of a second. He was wearing nothing but his jeans – not even a shirt. How was he not freezing like that? A cold wind blew through my hair and Goosebumps spread like wildfire over my skin.  It blew Adam’s hair into slight disarray but he didn’t seem to care. He was too busy staring at me. To be completely honesty, my heart was melting at the sight of his eyes. They looked so damn purple compared to all the white; it was breathtakingly beautiful.

“H-how did you know I w-was h-here?” my teeth chattered uncontrollably. He didn’t even seem fazed by the cold.

“Get into my car.” He muttered and pointed behind him.

“I-I h-have my o-own c-car.” I replied and started to twitch a little from the cold. My fingers were starting to go numb.

“Your window is broken. You’ll freeze.” His replies were confident and quick with little to no feeling.

“That’s not my fault.” I replied and hugged myself. The wind had picked up again and it was blowing my shirt around like a flag. I had to hold it down as the cold bit at my bare stomach.

“I never said it was.” He said and glanced at my exposed tummy “Now get into my car.” He pointed to his beat up old truck.

“NO! I hate you Adam! You have ruined my life!” I shouted.

“Really? Is your life really ruined?” he crossed his arms over his chest. How the hell was he not cold? I had one article of clothing while he had nothing. How did he not freeze?

“Yes it is! It is confusing! I have like 40 billion different guys who are bipolar! You annoy me the most! I hate you! You are so stubborn it makes me want to pull out my hair!” I roared and Adam rolled his eyes.

“It’s not like you aren’t stubborn! You won’t even do the simple task of getting into my car.” He pointed to his truck as if it were going to prove his point somehow.

“Why should I get in?” I placed my hands on my hips, my teeth chattered violently.

“I’m trying to be nice. You’ll die.” He shouted angrily.

“Then I’ll die! What is it to you? You hate me remember? Who cares if I die?” I replied. That seemed to get him and he clenched his jaw tightly and looked away.

“Get. In. The. Fucking. Car. Now” he spoke softly and deliberately.

“You can’t make me!” and tried to push past him to get to my own car.

“Is that a challenge?” he raised an eyebrow and before I could answer, he swung me over his shoulder and started to walk towards his car. I had a clear view of his pale, muscular torso and blue jeaned butt.  I had to admit, it was a cute butt but I wasn’t going to tell him that.

“Adam let me go!” I shouted ad banged on his back with my tiny fists.  It seemed to have no effect on him what so ever.

“Now that I found you here, do you honestly believe I’ll let you go so easily? Do you even know how fucking long I looked for you?” his voice was soft but demanding at the same time. My hand froze as I contemplated what he had just said. Was it just me or was that a double mean in there?

“What?” I said softly but Adam didn’t seem to hear me. He opened the door and threw me inside hard enough to make my head spin. Quickly, I gained back my composure and I lunged for the door but he had the door slammed in my face. He was just so damn fast! I tried to open it but it was locked! He used childproof locks! What the hell does he do in his spare time?  He ran over to his side, got in and started to drive. The heater was on full blast but I was still shivering slightly.
