I wish I could say I gave in and ran to him, embracing him like a lost puppy finally finding its home but I didn't. Adam tried his best to get through to me, he would constantly call me, text me, show up at my house but nothing made me budge, not after the utter betrayal. I began looking at the Winchester Mansion  through my window again and remembering the moments that had passed between Adam and I. My heart was on fire after we broke up, it felt like someone had poured sulfuric acid down my throat and was laughing at my pain. I started getting mind numbingly painful headaches again and I knew that all my pain and sadness would simply melt away if I went back to him but I just couldn't. Even Aiden was trying to convince me into going back to him.

"C'mon Fall, he's been begging for you! At Least listen to him." Aiden had dramatically entered my room and jumped on to my unmade bed.

"What? You mean he is here? RIGHT NOW?" I shouted the last part before quickly realizing that Adam could probably hear us with his annoyingly convenient werewolf hearing. He stopped jumping on my bed and took a seat near me.

"Yes, Fall, he is here right now and before you go hide somewhere, just listen to him, okay? He has been here everyday for the last few weeks, just hear him out. If not for him, do it for me." he said and gave me the puppy dog eyes, knowing their affect on me. I laughed a little at the thought of Aiden begging me to talk to Adam when he had hated him for the longest time, I guess getting to know someone really does make all the difference. Unfortunately for Adam, I got to learn about him in a way I did not appreciate.

"Fine, Aiden, just for you but after this, don't talk about him anymore." I said as I pulled on my favourite cardigan which Adam just so happened to have bought for me. Aiden jumped for joy and started pushing me out into the hallway the door.

"Okay! I got this! Now go!" I replied with a laugh and pushed him away. With a deep sighed, I walked to the front door and swung it open. The sky was turning a bright shade of pink with flecks of gold and streaks of blue as the sun started to set. A warm summer breeze shook the trees and I sighed in content, loving the feeling of pure content. I hadn't even noticed Adam standing there but once I didn't, I felt my breath catch in my throat. He was standing there wearing a black Y-neck shirt that clung on to his muscles and a pair of black jeans. His hands were running through his hair as a look of worry and dread danced across his features. The air around us started to sizzled with electricity.

"Autumn!" he breathed out when he saw me, only causing the sparks around us to increase. Did he feel them too? "I need to talk to you, please, just listen to me, please."

He looked so entirely desperate that it broke my heart. I could now see the deep set bangs that were forming under his eyes and his usual effortless hair was a total mess. I hadn'ted noticed that he looked down right homeless, but somehow, he still looked sexy. I crossed my arms over my chested and shift my weight from one foot to the next and gave him a nod.

"Let's take a walk, for more privacy." he said as his eyes flickered to a spot behind me, causing me to turn around and look. Aiden was standing there listening to us. When he realized he was caught, he jumped back in surprise and scrambled for an excuse.

"Save it." I said as I found a pair of comfortable flip flops and went out with Adam. My headache was starting to clear up and I sighed a little in relief. I didn't know were we were walking, we kind of just walked, silence suffocated the air around us. He wasn't speaking; only the sound of our feet hitting the concrete left me aware that I wasn't going deaf. I looked up at him to see that he was already staring at me.

"What did you want?" I asked carefully, avoiding looking him directly in the eyes. He clenched his jaw but kept his eyes on me. In the light of the sunset, I could see the horrid condition he was in even more clearly. He had stubble on his face and his eyes had lost a lot of lustre. He looked sick.
