Chapter 3

Adam's POV

I had just got home still thinking about that girl. I didn't even get her name. But she was so beautiful. I found Tommy sitting on the couch in the living room watching TV.

I met Tommy a long time ago back in elementary school. Since then, we've been best friends and now he's become my roommate. He turned around and I guess I was still smiling cause then he said,

"You look very happy."

I guess I kinda had to tell him.

"I met this girl today. She was so beautiful."

"Do you even know her name?" He asked.

"No, but I gave her my number to see if she's interested in being friends or something." I replied.

He just smiled cause he could tell I was interested in her. I mean, she looked like the most amazing girl ever. I really hope she would text me or something. I went to my room, laid on my bed, and started daydreaming about her.

Kaitlyn's POV

I thought about it for a little. Should I text him? Should I wait? Should I just forget about him so he doesn't end up in the mess I'm in? After thinking, I decided this. I haven't had a real boyfriend yet so let's just text him and see what happens. Wait, did I just say boyfriend? Get that out of your head you just met him like two hours ago!

Anyway, I was only with Bo for like three months, after I started ignoring him, he'd tried to win me back. Yes, I got hurt bad a couple times by him, but most of the time, it's either I hurt him and he runs away, or one of my brothers come and he just runs away.

It was almost six when I grabbed my phone and started texting him

"Hey Adam, it's the girl you met at Starbuck's today. If you wanna know my name, it's Kaitlyn. How are you?"

I read it through then hit the send button. It wasn't that long before my phone went off, and it was Adam.

"Hey Kaitlyn! So glad to hear from you! I'm very good thank you! 😊"

Me: "Lol. So 20 questions to get to know each other?"

Adam: Sure :) I'll start off, how old are you?

Me: 18. When's your birthday?

Adam: January 29. About to turn 19.

I didn't even bother to notice that we went over 20 questions. We spent hours texting each other. I was having a good time. It was 10pm when I went to bed. I'm a senior at Matanzaz High School. Even though it's far away from where Kyle and I live, we still went there cause Shannon and Andrew live near there.

Before I fell asleep, I was thinking, should I tell them about Adam? Will Bo find out? Is Bo gonna try to hurt him?
