Chapter 10

I woke up in Adam's arms. Again, looked very cute. I slowly got up and quietly headed out of the room so I didn't wake him up. Or anyone for that matter. All I thought about last night was Adam. How someone actually finally likes me. And treats me right. Then I thought about Bo. I was so afraid. Is he gonna hurt him? I didn't want to think about that. I headed downstairs and found Shannon on the couch.

"Is anyone else awake?" I asked.

She was startled by my sudden appearance.

"Just James. I don't know about anyone else." She replied.

As the day went on and everyone was leaving, Tommy suddenly came in.

"Hey!" He said.

"Hey! How did you find my address?" I asked.

"Try asking the guy standing behind you." He said laughing.

I smirked at Adam and we all started laughing. Tommy's a good friend. He's really nice and sweet like Adam. I really liked his hair too.

We were all sitting on the couch on our phones, someone's phone went off. It was Tommy's.

"Who's that?" Adam asked.

"I don't know?" He replied.

"It's a link to a YouTube video."

My heart started racing. If it was to Bo's channel, I swear. Tommy opened the link.

"What's the video?" Adam asked concerned.

"The title says CRAZY GIRLFRIEND!!"

Shit.

"Let me see!!" I said grabbing Tommy's phone out of his phone.

I watched the video. It was about eight minutes long. Sure enough it was about me.

"Fuck." I whispered when I heard "my ex."

He even said my name in the video!Great. Now people know my name too. I knew Adam and Tommy were listening to the video. He said words in the video that got me mad.

"She's the worst girlfriend ever. All I wanted was someone to have forever. And she leaves me for something I said about her sister. She's a total slut and never did anything to show that she cared about me."

The one thing that pissed me off was this.

"I wish she'll die. Right in front of me."

That was the last word he said before ending the video. I didn't bother looking at the likes and everything.

"You- you can have your phone back." I said.

I ran upstairs to my bedroom and shut the door. I fell on my knees crying in disbelief and anger. I showed him that I cared about him but all I got was it thrown back at my face. I started shaking. I knew this was gonna happen one way or another. The door knocked.

"Who is it?" I asked chocking on my words.

"It's me."

It was Adam.

I wiped the tears off my face and try to calm myself down. I opened the door and let him in.

"I knew that was gonna happen." I said.

"What was gonna happen?"

"That video! That's the last thing I want and it happened. Even worse, you and Tommy heard it! It's my fault that video's up." I cried.

The tears start running down my face. At this point, I was shacking uncontrollably. Adam hugged me tight. Both of us were sitting against the door now.

"It's not your fault." He replied to me.

"It's his fault that he mistreated you and made you scared. I'm so sorry we heard it. I'm sorry the video's up and making you mad."

Holding me tighter, he said,

"Don't believe anything that douche said. Your the most amazing person ever. I hope that video gets taken down."

I lay my head on his chest. He was so sweet. It got quiet after a little.

"What are we gonna do about the boys? Do they know it was up?" Right after I said that, my phone went off, it was Tris.

Tris ☺️💘: I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT DIRTBAG PUT THAT VIDEO UP!!! 😡

After that, not only did my brothers get the link to the video, but my mom, sister, my friends from school, Collins, Devan, and Connor got it. All pretty much saying the same thing. I should've known this would happen.

"Your gonna be ok." Adam said after a while.

"He will not hurt you. Not after that video."

He leaned in and kissed me. It was passionate. We pulled away for air.

"I'm so glad I met you." I said.

"Me too." He replied smiling.

Tommy bursted through the door shortly after.

"Are you ok Katie? I'm so sorry it's out there I didn't mean to listen to it." He said.

"It's ok." I replied.

I hugged him to make sure he knew it was ok.

My brothers came back and the first thing Brad does when he sees me is hug me. He didn't say anything for a minute.

"I promise I will murder him in his sleep." He says hurt.

I saw a tear running down his face. It's rare when any of them cry, and they know I hate it when people I care about cry! I wipe the tear off his face.

He mouthed to Adam "Thank you for being with her."

I turn around and hugged him.

"Everything's gonna be ok." He whispered.

He kissed my cheek. Tommy looked down at his phone.

"It's getting kinda late Adam, we should be heading home." He said to Adam.

"But why can't I just go to school with her!?" He chuckled.

"Because you graduated dummy." He replied laughing.

"Now come on." He smiled at me.

"Call me before bed?" He asked.

"Definitely." I replied.

I kissed him before we said goodbye.

Tommy and Adam headed out the door. Now it was just Brad and I.

"I like him." He said.

"He's very caring."

"Wish I would've found him sooner." I replied.

He laughed. It got quiet for a while. I was so terrified now. If making a video about me is what he starts with, what's gonna happen next? I was too scared to even think of ideas.

"So.. what's the plan now?" Brad finally asked.

"I don't know. And I probably don't wanna know." I replied
