Now Do You See ~ Adam Lambert

Chapter 5

It was already the next morning. I got ready quickly. I'm so excited to see Adam. Before Shannon came to pick me up, Bo was calling me. I declined it and blocked the number. Nothing was gonna ruin this day.

When Shannon pulled up, I said goodbye to everyone and got in the car.

"I'm going to Adam's house after school." I said in excitement.

"How do you know he's not gonna hurt you?" Andrew asked.

I shrugged. Well, he did pay for my drink. And he's definitely nicer then Bo. Maybe I'll learn more by the end of the week. We arrived at school and went to class. Adam texted me.

Adam 😆: I'm still picking you up after school right?"

Me: Yeah! I'm so excited ☺️

Adam 😆: Me too 😊

It seemed like forever for all the classes to go by. Finally, the final bell rang, I took off with all of my stuff and headed out the door. Adam was already waiting for me.

"Hey!" Adam yelled.

"Hey" I replied smiling.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go!" I replied.

His car was so amazing. It's a black 2015 Ferrari 458 Italia. I heard those cars go fast and they're expensive, but they're so cool. He's actually a good driver and not some careless teenager that'll probably get me killed.

"I love your car it's so amazing!" I said.

He smiled and replied "Thanks, it was for my eighteenth birthday. I absolutely love it."

We arrived at his house ten minutes later. He doesn't live that far from me. He has this huge beautiful stone house. It has a huge in ground pool as well.

"Ready to go inside?" He asked.

I smiled and replied "Yeah let's go."

We went inside and found a guy sitting on the couch. The man turned over and smiled.

"You must be Kaitlyn." He said.

"Yeah." I replied.

He got up from and went to greet me.

"I'm Tommy Joe, but I go by Tommy." He said.

Shaking his hand, I replied

"Nice to meet you Tommy."

"Adam would not shut up about you. Ever since the day he met you, he'd talk about you for hours! He said that you were beau-"

Tommy got cut off by Adam.

"Thanks Tommy I think we get the idea now." He said embarrassed.

I blushed.

"Tell you what, I bet I can beat you all in Mario Kart." Tommy said.

I didn't know they had a Wii. I thought those things were gone. I got one a long time ago. I was up to the challenge. I looked at Adam and he did the same. We both smiled.

"Your on." We both replied.

In the end, we each ended up winning one. I almost won twice.

Adam and I went by the pool afterword. We both  just stood by the edge. It looked about six feet deep. Suddenly, I felt a push and I fell into the water. I popped back up and Adam was laughing. I started to laugh and said

"Great! Now I'm wet!! Thanks Adam!"

I had a great plan to get Adam in too.

"Hey can you help me up?" I asked.

"Ok." He replied.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him in.

"Your an idiot!" He said smirking.

I raised my eyebrow then replied

"Hey, your the one who pushed me in."

We started to have a splash fight after that. Then, I felt something grab my foot and pulled me under. I knew it was Adam. Thankfully, I'm a great swimmer. I managed to tug my foot out and pop back up.

"Haha. I got out!" I said when he came back up.

We both started to laugh.

We got out after a while. Adam got us towels from a cabinet. We sat down on the patio and he wrapped his arm around me. It was akward seeing we were friends, but I didn't care.

"Have you ever dating anybody."

Crap. I guess this is the time I tell him about Bo. I started to get butterflies. I bit my lip and replied.

"Yeah."

"Was he good?" He asked.

That point, I didn't know what to say. Soon, he said

"Hey.."

He grabbed my hand and started rubbing my back. I looked at him, took a deep breath, then explained.

"I dated him for like three months. I broke up with him but he didn't except it. He would try to hurt me and my brothers but I'm lucky that they protect me. I got hurt bad a couple times by him as well. And I've been afraid to go into another relationship because I don't know what he's gonna do. Yeah nothing too important about him."

I almost started to cry, but I sucked it up. I'm not a crybaby like other girls at my school are. He hugged me then said

"Everything's gonna be ok. He wants to hurt you, he's gonna have to get passed me."

I looked at him and smiled. He's so nice.

We sat and talked untill it got dark.

"It's getting late, I should get going." I said.

"Want me to drive you home?" He asked.

"Yeah that'll be great." I replied.

We both got up and headed to the car. I'm assuming I was taking the towel home. The drive wasn't that long. I loved being with him. He made me so happy. He walked me up to the door

"Thank you for inviting me over." I said.

"Your welcome. Have a good night" he replied.

"You too." I said hugging him.

Everyone was in there bedrooms so I decided to go to mine. Soon, my phone went off. An unknown number texted me.

Unknown: You think you could get away from me and your new love? Ha. We'll see about that.

I knew at that point, it was Bo. I started to freak out. We're just friends! Then again I'm starting to fall in love with him. I didn't worry too much. Or at least tried not to. I looked at one of my 5SOS posters, looked into Luke's eyes, and smiled.

"I can't wait to see Adam on Friday." I muttered
