Chapter 9

We were driving for a while. We entered Orlando and I asked

"Why are we in Orlando?"

"Oh you'll see soon." He replied smirking.

A thought hit me. A place where a bunch of young adults go. Universal! I told him I love that place. That must be where we're going. Sure enough, we arrived at Universal.

"You didn't have to drive all the way out here Adam." I said.

"Well I wanted to." He replied smiling.

I smiled back. Everyone got out of there cars and Brad starting acting like a little kid, making us all laugh. Brad's always been the funny one. He knows how to make me laugh even if I don't want to. He's a total dork and sweet. That's why I love him.

We got into Universal and just started walking around and getting to know each other more. Soon, we ran into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction. Which made Collins excited, so we went and walk through the attraction. It was really cool. I see why Collins has an obsession with Harry Potter.

A while after, we found ourselves in Wet n Wild. Which I had no idea we were walking there. We got there and Adam said to Shannon and I

"Take off your cloths."

Is this why Adam asked us to where our bathing suits? We looked at each other confused, then took off our cloths revealing our bikinis. Adam picked me up.

"What are you doing?" I chuckled.

He smirked at me and stood by the edge of the pool.

"Hope you like swimming." He said smirking.

He tossed me into the pool. Now I see why. Soon, everyone was jumping in. I came back up and splashed Adam in the face, causing us to have a splash war and just laugh uncontrollably.

We all decided to have a race on this one ride. Seeing there's eleven people and four tubes, we'd all get to verse each other, the three winners get to verse each other in a final round. It was me verses Adam verses Devan.

"You ready?" Adam asked both of us.

"Let's do this." I replied smirking at both of them.

And we were off. I really wanted to beat Adam in particular, so I pushed as hard as I can to get a head start. We finished and I won.

"How do you feel getting beat?" I asked smirking at both of them.

Adam playfully nudged me and smiled.

We left Orlando at about four. We still had one more place to go, but I couldn't figure out where.

"I've been having fun so far." He said.

"Me too.This is probably the most fun I've had in a while." I replied.

We both smiled. He gabbed my hand and held it tight, as if he was never letting go of me.

"Did Bo ever take you out on dates like this?" He asked.

This is something that I don't tell people a lot. This is something I'd say is personal. But I trust Adam. So I told him the story.

"Once. But that's when I found out he was bad. We were bowling with my sister and her friend. He kept walking away from me so I was alone for most of the time. And he was on his phone most of the time too, not texting anyone, just playing video games. Then, when we were heading back, he made fun of my sister. I said I'm not gonna date anyone who's not gonna except my family."

I paused for a second, this is when it got out of control and scary. I continued.

"And then... he slapped me, across the face. And started yelling. And said he was gonna make my life a living hell... and that's kinda what he did for a while."

I let out a sigh.

"I can't believe he'd actually did that." Adam said after a while.

"You don't deserve to be treated like that. It's just wrong. Someone like you deserves to be treated like a princess. You are my princess. And I'll treat you better then that dirty shit." He explained.

I stared into his eyes getting lost in them. As if he put some sort of spell on me. I smiled at him a little. I couldn't help but notice how much he cares about me.

Somewhere around seven, we arrived at Jacksonville. Connor texted me.

Connor 😎: Ok first we drive to the middle of the state now we're at the top of the state 😂

Me: Hey, I don't know what's going on ok? 😂

I was trying to think of places in Jacksonville. Then it hit me. Dave and Busters! My brothers and I love that place. We go there frequently to have fun. We arrived there shortly after. Everyone was excited. We head in and just start going crazy. Ordering food, playing games, and acting like five year old children.

After a while, everyone heads to the four player air hockey table. Brad and Tris wanted to play. Adam and I look at each other.

"I bet I can beat you." He said.

"Bring it on Lambert." I replied smirking.

It seemed like forever until Brad was out, then Tris. Soon, it was Adam and I. We smirk at each other and started playing. This went on for a while, until Adam beat me. Everyone was in a OHH! mood.

"That's payback from earlier today." He said.

I playfully slapped his arm and we continued having fun.

It was almost eleven, so we all decide to head back home. Collins, Devan, Connor, and Adam decided to stay the night. Everyone got home and was wearied out. Adam and I decide to head up to my room.

"You sure do like that band." He chuckled looking at all my 5SOS posters.

"Yeah it's sorta like an obsession I have. It's something I use to get away from all the bad stuff." I replied.

He giggled. We both lied on my bed cuddling.

"Is it ok if I ask you something?" He asked.

"Yeah ask me anything." I replied.

He held me tight and then asked

"Would you please be my girlfriend?"

I thought I've never hear that from anyone ever again. Since the day I've been abused, I thought I wouldn't be loved again. And I've been scared to be in love too. But it's time for a change. I look him in his beautiful blue eyes and smile.

"I'd love too." I replied.

"Great." He said smiling.

He kissed my forehead and we both smiled. And we both fell asleep.

I actually found someone I love. Someone I actually care for, someone who likes me for me and my family and friends. Someone who actually cares about me. The hard part is, what are we gonna do about Bo?
