I sit down quietly getting out my phone and shooting a quick text to Evaline.

S: Heyyyyyyyyy quick question how do you flirt????

I put it down on the table while I wait for a reply.  As Jon begins to speak "So Andrew, that waitress seems rather interested in you."

As Andrew is about to respond my phone goes off, I glance down seeing Evaline's number come up and quickly get up. "I've got to take this, sorry. I'll be right back."

Walking quickly outside, I answer. 'Hey, I meant a text not a phone call."

"Yeah no, you're terrible at responding when it comes to things like this. What is going on? Since when do you need advice on flirting"

"Um since some waitress decided to challenge me." I wrap my other arm around my middle trying to keep warm, I should have brought my jacket.

"She challenged you? Over what? A hot waiter? You need to stop that you're always 'challenging' people or getting into arguments."

I lean against the brick wall behind me. "Um no I'm not, and it's over Andrew." I rush the last part.

"Oh my god no way! So you DO like Andrew! I knew it!" I could hear the excitement in her voice. Crap what have I done.

"Now hold on I never said that, but I am competitive. So are you going to help me?"

"Well of course I'm going to help you, flirt back. You know how to, don't try and say you don't."

'But I can't. And she's pretty." I whine a bit shifting around before leaning against the wall again.

"That's a load of bullshit. Look just be yourself and you'll be fine, I've got to go. Bye." And with that she hangs up on me.

I sigh and go back inside, on my way I can see the waitress bending down setting food down on the table and bending down awfully far in front of Andrew. Oh no, god damnit. Why is it always that move. I sit down quickly, at this point is it even worth it I'm going to lose. Something tells me I shouldn't but to hell with reason.

The boys are already beginning on their food as the waitress walks away, she gives me a glare as she approaches me, trying to trip me as she passes sticking a foot out. I manage to avoid it ,narrowly, but she still fails.

I sit down and Davey immediately speaks up. "Did she just try to trip you?"

Before I can answer Jon cuts in. "Did she?" He turns around in his chair.

"Yeah she did." Rob cuts in as I sit down next to him again.

I shrug playing it off. "Well no harm came of it  even if it was immature." I start on my salad as the chit chat returns to normal.

"So who was that on the phone then?" Davey asks.

"Just Evaline again, the one I was talking to before we came, I told her to text me but she called me instead."

The conversation dies out for a bit after that, until the waitress decides to return this time to top of our drinks. She doesn't look at me but as she sets my glass back down she "accidently" knocks it over across me. I scoot back too quickly and my chair falls back with a thump onto the wooden floor and I just stay there for a second before Davey helps me up.

The waitress is apologizing in a sickly sweet voice but I don't really understand, my head swimming from the impact of it hitting the hard floor.

Finally things start to process.

"Scarlett? Scarlett? I think it's best to get her home lads, she looks out of it." Jon says before asking for the check.  I  nod trying to find my voice.

"I hit my head." I say sitting down on my now upright chair placing a hand to the spot where my head hit the floor and find it a bit wet. "Excuse me." I mutter standing up, I manage a few steps before stumbling and falling, right into Andrews lap.
