I walked over and grabbed the target enhancer
"Ready?" he asked as I pointed the gun at the ground checking it
"Yeah" I mumbled walking over to an elevator
"Assault" Gideon said as we appeared in the simulator which was very dark, I gulped
"Jaelyn on me" he ordered so I got my gun out and followed him.
"Here they come!" Gideon yelled, I froze but something in me started to take over. I started shooting
'It's a game, it's a simulation' my mind said as my feet started moving towards Gideon and the house, once we took out everyone on the porch I jogged up to the house and snuck into the kitchen with Gideon
"Good job" he whispered
"Ready" everyone's voice said over the radio
"Breach it" Gideon ordered so I kicked the door down and at the same time as mine others bashed theirs down. I ducked behind a couch as I aimed shooting them with the others
"Check the bed rooms" Gideon ordered, I stood up and walked down the halls, one walked out of a room so I shot him in the head. I felt good because I knew I was dreaming, it was all a game.
I walked into the bed room and saw a couple in the joining room
"Contact" I whispered into my radio as I nodded to Joker who came in behind me. He nodded back and we rushed the room, ran in and killed them. I stuck my head into the bathroom
"Clear" Joker said, he looked at me
"Clear" I said shrugging and following him to the end of the hall to the media room. The put a mute charge now and I smashed the door open with my left arm and aimed at one of the guys, I shoot him than turned to the other two shooting them.
It was in slow motion because of the charge which helped. Gideon got the "president".
We walked out to the living room, I screamed asGideon pulled me behind the wall
"Drones!" Joker yelled, I grabbed an grenade and switched it to an EMP than threw it, the drones all fell to the ground
"Good job" Gideon said as we ran out towards the pool
"Use your assault drone!" Gideon yelled to Mitchell
"Clear!" I yelled once they were all down
"Go!" Gideon yelled, we ran down the stairs and past the pool towards the road, we ran through a pathway when a car pulled up
"Get the president inside" Gideon ordered so I helped Mitchell get him into the car
I slammed the door shut and knocked on it so they drove off.
I grabbed my gun out hiding behind a lantern shooting the enemies.
"Get to the warbird Jaelyn!" Gideon yelled so I started running with Mitchell. When we got there Irons walked out
"Have you ever fought in a war before Jaelyn?" Irons asked
"Oh no but my uncle who used to look after me was ex-military... but they never had guns like this" I said, he smiled at me
"Gideon will train you some more but you have done very well" he said, I smiled
"Thank you sir" I said
