I was in my room looking at the scar on my arm when Gideon walked in.
"You did amazing" he said, I stood up and walked out with him
"The reporters will be here soon" I said, he sighed as we stood in front of the elevator waiting for Irons.
When Irons came he tapped my shoulder, we all smiled as him and the reported went into the elevator. I looked at Gideon sighing
"Something is wrong" I whispered to him, he shook his head as Mitchell and Ilona radioed us.
"Let's go" I said shrugging. We walked through halls and stairs to the room they were at
"What is it?" I asked
"Link up to me, the scrambler will over give us so much time" Mitchell said as they put something on. It was Irons and the guy we pulled out of the river sitting together
"The KVA are planning an attack" the guy said, he explained the whole attack on the world when Irons stood up and walked off before shooting him, I gasped
"He knew it!" Mitchell said
"Hades gave it us, it's from Atlas" he added
"We have to leave" I said
"Now!" I yelled freaking out, we started leaving when something exploded and the four of us but Gideon were on the ground. Irons walked in
"We saw it" Ilona said
"You saw a forged recording" Irons said, he looked at me and Mitchell
"I am disappointed in you" he said looking at me, I glared
"Hold them here, Gideon?" he asked
"Yes sir" he said walking over to him
"Gideon!" I yelled in tears but they left
"Listen, we've hacked into your exo system, I need you to trust me. In three seconds the fire suppression system will be activated. Get ready to run" a voice said, I looked at Mitchell who looked at me and winked, I licked my top lip when the fire system went off, I hit the guy in the leg and grabbed his gun shooting him in the head while Mitchell got the one on Ilona
"Let's go" I said
"Go to the elevator" the guy said, we went into it. We ran onto top of the elevator and started climbing up.
"Drones!" I yelled as we started running, I ducked under a pipe and ran into the main part where the black gates were coming up, they made them come down so we ran and jumped over, I shot the glass so the soldiers fell into it. We jumped into the river and into the sewers. We got up onto the street and started running through buildings towards the docks. We jumped down into the street and an into a building and upstairs through openings, one jumped in front of me so I shot them before started to run through more buildings, I jumped to the next building as I shot at them, they kept shooting at us. I jumped down into the street and ran to the docks, I ducked and started shooting the soldiers who were hiding there.
"AST!" Mitchell yelled, I grabbed some EMPS and threw at it with the help of Mitchell it was down. Mitchell got in front of the small boat while Ilona and I sat in back. Mitchell threw us both a grapple attachment, I closed my eyes as we drove around in the water, diving under boats and diving for missiles. We ran off and into a building, I coughed as we got out of the boat and used our grapples to climb up a large building, we got to one place where we were getting shot at, I threw a frag than ran across just after a create flew past. We got them before grappling to a place we had to climb up.
I gulped as I climbed up first, I pulled myself up onto the ledge and ran across some path
"The sky bridge" the guy said, we grappled up and then jumped into the sky bridge. We ducked behind some glass shooting at them, I got up and ran taking fire and throwing a frag in before running up the stairs, the others followed as I jumped onto a crane
"Careful!" Mitchell yelled, I jumped onto the thing and slid down when three people came to us, they were invisible when the guy talking to us talked to Mitchell, I took heavy breaths
"Warbird!" I yelled as one came towards us. Joker and Gideon jumped
"Stand down" Gideon said to Joker
"If you're wrong about Irons, I'll hunt you down myself" He said to Mitchell and Ilona
"We're not wrong!" Mitchell said
"Roof is clear" Gideon radioed, they all went into the create, Gideon looked at me
"You're staying?" I asked, he nodded. I looked down as I chewed my lip before turning and going with the others.
