Knox looked at me as I sat in the medical room getting the bullet wound mended. I bashed my head on the table
"That hurts!" I screamed in pain as they shoved the needle into my skin, Knox was holding one of my hands while Mitchell had the other.
By the time they finished I was crying and my mouth was bleeding pretty badly from biting my tongue and lips.
"Do you think you are good to run and keep going?" Knox asked
"Oh yeah, I'm good" I said as I stood up and left with them.
I looked at Ilona as I shook
"Antarctica!?" I yelled, she laughed
"ANTARCTICA!?" I yelled louder
"Why Antarctica!!?" I yelled
"Couldn't Kingpin has chosen somewhere warm? Like I don't know A DESERT" I said as they landed Pandora, we ran over to Cormack and Mitchell when Kingpin told us about the Atlas coming, we got out guns ready and started taking them out as the dropships arrived. We kept advancing forward with more of them appearing, I looked at them
"I got it Cormack!" I yelled, he looked and covered me as I ran towards the cargo, I pushed it into the back of guardian 5 our ship. I jumped out
"Cargo is in!" I screeched so it took off but it was hit,
They rolled a Titan and ASTS in, we hid under near some ice when it exploded and we fell in. I screamed as we landed, I groaned as I coughed some blood up
"Everyone good?" Cormack asked
"Oh fantastic" I said as Mitchell pulled me up, everything was static on the radio, I grabbed my gun before kicking some ice
"Opening" I said, I went first and started walking through the dark with the others quiet a way behind.
"Um Cormack!" I yelled staying still, they came up to me when we heard voices. He put the flare torch thing out as we snuck up onto some Atlas people, one group left while we all got our targets
"On your shot Jay" Cormack said, I shot and they all died when the group that left came back, we jumped down and followed them shooting everything we had them. I walked across a bridge when a AST came down, I went to run back but it went to hit me with it's gun. I was pushing myself up when it picked me up, I was thrown across the ice bridge when I pulled an explosive pick out and shoved into the bridge sending me flying back into the wall before the bridge collapsed and we went down with it. We started walking through water, I coughed as we got some message from the guys above.
"We're going to freeze to fucking death" I said as we came to a dead end. I gasped as the ice started breaking above our head, we ducked and swan under into an open cave. Cormack did some weird signs and then threw a pick at one of the guys, we all jumped up shooting them
"More dropping in!" I yelled as we shot wildly at them. I jumped up to the right with Ilona and went around taking the out there. We came to more ice and jumped down to the bottom bit before slowly making our way around, I quickly moved as I was fired at, I turned and threw a frag at them.
"Clear" Ilona said, we jumped up and saw sun, we ran out and into the mountains. We slid down some snow before running towards the black smoke in the sky, we jumped from ledge to ledge when drones came, we used our EMPs before jumping down into another gave and then to another cave, I saw a MORS so I grabbed it smirking
"I'll cover" I said
"You snipe?" Cormack asked
"Of course" I said, I aimed and started shooting the ones closet to the cargo than the ones near Cormack
"Oh I love this" I said to myself as I kept shooting. I jumped down and started running to the cargo but fell into some ice, I screamed as I went under water and started swimming to the exit when a hand came into the water, I grabbed it and was pulled out. I saw Gideon
"Trust me" he whispered pulling me onto the ground before shooting his friends, I put my hand to my nose and felt liquid on my hand, I had a look and saw blood over my hand. I shook my head before putting my hand back at my nose
"Jaelyn?" Gideon asked, I looked at him
"Fuck you Gideon" I said standing up and wiping my nose, I groaned
"Jaelyn?" Cormack asked
"I think I broke my nose fighting the AST" I said
"You fought an AST?" Gideon asked, I looked at him
"Yeah I knew I should have shot Irons when I had the chance" I said, Cormack sighed
"You and Knox went through this" he said, I rolled my eyes
"Fuck the government, that man has tried to kill me many times and I'm over it!" I yelled
"How's the leg?" Mitchell asked, I turned to him
"Oh fucking fantastic" I said glaring with sarcasm dripping off my tongue. They all looked at me
"Had to fucking Antarctica right?" I asked rolling my eyes and walking off. We ran a little, we grabbed two stingers and hid behind some snow while Gideon called them in. We got ready to shot
"Now!" Gideon yelled so we shot it down. I dropped the stinger and started running off the side of the mountain towards the cargo
"MITCHELL!" I yelled, he ran with me down, I pulled some of the cargo out and we jumped up to the chopper. Gideon grabbed my hand, I looked up at him as he smirked at me
"Getting cocky aren't ya?" he asked, I rolled my eyes
"Were you gonna run down?" I asked, he chuckled.
