Chapter 12

"Man down!" Gideon yelled

"Cover them" I said to Mitchell as I tried tracing the source

"The real one is close!" I yelled suddenly more explodes and the radio cut out

"Let's go" Mitchell said, we turned and started running, we ran into the bottom floor when shoots came, I ran outside and shoot the three outside.

"Move it!" I yelled at Mitchell before kicking a blue gate down, we ran towards where people were running from

"Hide inside!" I yelled shooting the KVA. I hide in a shop while shooting out of the window, I threw a smart grenade out the window than some frags. Before running out and started running down the street while shooting the ones on the balconies.

"I got your 6!" Mitchell yelled as we got the end of the street and hid behind some seats. I popped a frag and threw as Mitchell radioed Gideon

"I dont know if we're going to get anyway! I'm running out of frags!" I yelled as I threw a smart at them, i turned and saw them running from building to building. I ran to one window and jumped inside shooting them

"They're pulling back!" Mitchell yelled when we saw rockets which were higher armoured KVA. We got them all and started running when Torres was on the radio. I opened a door and screamed as a bullet destroyed the handle

"Sniper's got us" I said looking at Mitchell who was reloading

"Smoke" he said, I nodded and threw a smoke before running out and diving over some stuffs.

"Jump!" Mitchell yelled, I jumped over a street and rolled through a window into a building. I winced in pain as I got glass shards in my hands and arms, Mitchell jumped next to me and we started running through the building

"Away from the windows!" I yelled to the people. I was shooting at the sniper while Mitchell jumped down, he then got the eye of the sniper while I jumped to the next building and ran over to him. We jumped down into the street when drones came into the street, I took cover while we both threw EMP's at them which took them down. I looked at my hand which was bleeding badly, we ran through a restaurant which had been flooded from the fish tanks. We found Torres when suddenly he was blown up. I screamed in shock

"Get to Rivers, Mitchell!" I yelled as we ran out into another street. Drones flew in as Mitchell ran upstairs to Rivers. I ran around taking fire for him until he got the stinger and blew the bell tower up

"Fuck that guy" we both said before he jumped down, I kicked this van and we ran through alley ways into a street. I placed the explosives on the ground and took cover when the convoy came down, just as they over it I blew it up

"Do not give up Bravo!" Gideon yelled as we advanced forward taking out the KVA soldiers

"I got eyes on the truck" I said to Mitchell as we both threw smart and frags into the street below us.

"Clear!" Mitchell yelled, I ran over to the car and pulled the door off, I went to pull Hades out when a truck slammed into me into the wall. Mitchell tried helping get me out when Hades attacked him, I tired grabbing my gun when Mitchell fell so I grabbed Hades, he went to stab my heart but I put my let arm up and screamed out in pain as he stabbed it. I ripped the knife out and slit his throat. I dropped the knife and held my arm when Mitchell helped get the truck off me

"Thanks" he said, I nodded as I ripped some of my top and wrapped around my arm while Mitchell checked him.

"Hades is EKIA" Mitchell said when Hades grabbed Mitchell's arm

"Irons knows, he knows" he said giving Mitchell something before dying.

"What does he know?" he asked

I sat in the medical room when Irons walked in

"Jaelyn" he said, I looked at him

"Yes?" I asked

"Well done" he said

"Welcome, luckily I haven't lost my arm" I said, he smiled.

When they were finished with my arm we left, he hugged me

"I am very proud" he said, I smiled.
