Alex's POV,
Today is the day I've been dreading most. Prom. But it's a bit more different for Maggie, Mags loves and I say LOVES prom and dressing up. And again, Maggie asked James to go with her which I thought was the cutest thing ever, I can definitely see them in the future. The good thing about our school is that it's very open so they don't mind that Tris, Con, and Faith go. Tris hasn't talked to me since Nandos, James told me that he's been distant from the band.
"Alex! The hairstylist and makeup lady is here!" I hear Faith say.
"Send them up." I call, Faith is using my year 8 graduation dress, I always really liked it so I let Faithy use it. It's lavender with jewels coming down.
Me and Maggie aren't in our dresses yet, and like always Maggie is having a mini panic attack.
"Shh babe." I comfort her.
"What if we don't show up in time?" She asks.
The two girls come up and quickly start doing the makeup and hair. They started with my makeup and they did Mags hair. After that we switched. My makeup was a bit dark because of my dress, so was Mags.
"Alright girls we'll do Faiths, while you guys get into your dresses." We nod and get our heels.
I'm mad that my family is so stupid enough to not see their daughter go to prom. I don't even think of contacting my mum, but my dad has tried and tried he's also left my voice mails of apologizing, but I don't answer.
"Alright I'll stay here and get dressed while you go in the ensuite." Maggie commanded, pushing me into the toilets.
I have my dress in my hands and my hair is curled still touching my bum with my fringe pinned up. I got into my dress, for once I think I liked what I saw. I feel amazing. But they'll probably be other girls that are way prettier. My curves looked amazing and I look way taller because of the heels.
I got out seeing as Maggie was already in her dress.
"Omg Alex!" She gasped.
"Maggie look at you!" I say pointing at her.
"What about mwah?" Faith said running into the room.
"Especially you Faithy." I giggle. "The ladies left?"
"Yeah, they're going to the boys now." Faithy answered.
"Fuck, I've never felt so alive." Maggie said spinning around in her dress.
"We need selfies." I say pulling out my phone. We do all different kinds of faces.

It was now the time that the lads said the limo would pick us up, and Maggie is already hyperventilating.
We see three boys walk out of the limo.
"Fuck, he's so hot." Maggie mumbles as she sees James.
We giggle as we start to walk down the stairs. Maggie is on the edge of crying right now. Their jaws all dropped as they saw us.
"You girls are stunning." Connor said as Brad hooks my arm with his.
"You're beautiful." Brad whispered in my ear making me blush.

We arrived at our school, there's not much people there. Brad and I came out together, followed by Connor and Faith, and Maggie and James, then Tris. I actually really feel bad.
Right now there were people slow dancing, Brad held out his hand for me to hold.
"Come on." He smiled. I took his hand and started to dance to the music.
I think this little crush I had, ruined my whole damn life.
