Crossroads of destiny [Yato x Bishamon, Noragami]

Chapter 4 - Heartbroken

" When will you leave ?" Veena asked Yato

" Soon, I guess. There's still 6 Gods left out. I wanna talk to all of them."

Bishamon looked at him and smiled.

" You're always going to be this stubborn, aren't you? " the goddess laughed

" Yeah, that's me. " he laughed along with her

" Before you leave, Kazuma wants to organize some kind of party because you've recovered and all that stuff. " she said in a hurry

" Oh, Cool. " he smiled as usually

Bishamonten returned the smile then she left his room.

While she closed the door a tear fall from her left eye. She wiped it away.

'What's wrong with me? I'm not supposed to be like this.' She thought while she went outside to check Kazuma.

Since she let Yato to stay at her castle she had been feeling strange, especially around him.

It was a month or more since she let him to stay with her.

In a month humans don't do much, but for Gods time is different. Bishamon felt that month like if she  spent a lifetime with Yato.

Outside , Kazuma was done with the decorations.   

Their garden looked gorgeous. There were three tables full of food and sweets, there was a banner for Yato with " everyone loves you , baka " and in rest some balloons and other kind of party stuff.

" This is awesome, Kazuma!" Bisha smiled

" Thanks, we worked all together." He smiled

Veea thanked to all her shinkies, then she sent Kazuma after Yato and Aiha after Yukine.

'Things will be different after he'll leave" Bisha thought

The party was great and everyone was happy. A surprised look was on Bishamon's face when she heard the bell.

" Who's coming, Kazuma?"

" Lord Tenjin, he doesn't miss one party."

" Oh, that old man is crazier than I thought. "

Bishamon went to open the gates. She knew that Tenjin will show up at one point but she was surprised to see someone else besides his shinkies with him.

Hiyori was with him. Why was she here? She was half human, anyways. Also, Bishamon really disliked her.

" Ohh hoo, Bishamon-sama! " Tenjin yelled, wanting to hug her.

" If you want to hug something, go hug a tree, old man."

" Arghhh! Fierce as always, Bishamon!" He smiled

She would argue with him and maybe kick him out but he already went to Yato.

" Hi, Bishamonten. I hope it's okay that I came too. I really wanted to see Yato. " Hiyori said

" Um..sure." Veena mumbled something like that

Hiyori smiled and she ran towards Yato.

Veena looked sadly at the two of them. She was sure that there was more than just a friendly relation between them.

Bishamon sighed and she went towards Kazuma, he was the only one that wasn't drunk.

After the party was over and Tenjin along with Hiyori left, Bishamon helped Kazuma to clean the mess.

" That was one good party for me, thank you Kazuma!" Yato smiled

" Umm...Veena wanted to organize it, tho. " he said after Bishamonten left the garden

" What? Why would she? " Yato laughed

" She never told me. So, it means it's not my business. You should be thankful for her, she's quite extraordinary. " Kazuma smiled

Yato smiled back.

'I'm sure she is.' He thought

At the midnight, everyone was sleeping. Only Bishamon was still awake.

She couldn't believe that he left and he hasn't said goodbye.

" B-bishamonten?"

" Aiha? Did I woke you up?"

" N-no. I couldn't sleep. "

" Something wrong?"

" I miss ... Yukine. "

" Yato's shinki? "

" Mhm, we spent a lot of time together and now he's gone..."

Veena didn't know how to respond, so she just smiled.

" Are you sad too?"

" No. I'm not sad that Yato left, but I'm... Heartbroken that he didn't say goodbye. "
