It was the night of your rehearsal dinner for your wedding. Everything was going as planned and you were happy. All of your closest friends and family were going to be there and you couldn't wait.
The dinner had finished and you were outside on your the balcony of your hotel room in a silk robe that came up to your mid thigh. You had a radio playing your favourite song, a song that had its roots embedded in Jackson. Jackson and you had dated secretly in high school. No one in Beacon Hills knew, not even your closest friends Lydia and Allison. During the time of your relationship, everyone thought you were just best friends. Which is why Jackson had a huge part in your wedding since you had surprised everyone a month before the wedding, announcing that you and your fiance had decided to move to Beacon Hills again, and everyone thought it was only fitting that Jackson would be a central role in the wedding.
"Y/N, I need to speak to-"
Jackson stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes traveled up then down and he licked his lips.
"I can't let you do this. I can't let you throw your life away and be with him. I knew that I shouldn't have let you go, but I did, and I regretted it forever. And now seeing you with him is killing me. It's killing me to know that he's the one that gets to come home to you at the end of the night. I still love you Y/N. I never stopped. Run away with me"
"Jackson, I can't. Lewis would be devastated. I would love nothing but to run away with you, but I have to stay with him. I'm all he has"
Jackson nodded.
"Give me one last dance?"
You nodded and restarted the song. Jackson wrapped his arms around your waist and you rested your head on his broad shoulders.
You were transported to the time Jackson took you to his family's lake house. They had a pavilion on the edge of the land and you two had spent the day swimming and basking in the sun's glow.
"Dance with me?" Jackson said getting up.
You grinned. "Of course"
You had some of your best moments with Jackson. He was your first real boyfriend, he was your first kiss, your first time, your first love.
You looked up.
"I'll do it, I'll run away with you"
Jackson smiled and picked you up and twirled you in the air.
All of your stuff was still in suitcases. You wrote a letter to your ex-fiance explaining why you did what you did before you grabbed Jackson's hand and ran out of the hotel.
"Where to?" You asked
"I'm thinking Vegas." Jackson grinned
