Number 25 - Kol Mikaelson

11:54. You groaned. You had been stuck in an alternate Mystic Falls with Kol for the past 3 hours and it was absolute hell. At first, you thought it was a prison world but the date was the same so you guessed that it was just an alternate universe of some sort.

"You're very boring you know" Kol groaned

"At least I wasn't the one who pissed off a witch and got us stuck in here" you replied, annoyed.

"Rebekah will get us out soon, just once she's learnt how to."

"Yeah, when she's learnt how to. That'll happen when pigs fly"

"Well, what say we do something to pass the time?"

"Like what?"

"It involves no clothes and a bed"

"I'm good"

You got up

"I'm leaving, don't follow me"

You walked out of the house and to the grill. It was the same as before, it was welcoming. You rooted around in the kitchen and fixed yourself some food and ate it. With your hunger satisfied you took a walk around the town square, you went into some of the boutiques and helped yourself to the clothes that you wanted. It was pretty late so you headed back to the Salvatore house.

"There is no decent blood in this whole house" He whined

"How sad" You deadpanned.

"You don't need to be a bitch about it"

"Excuse me"

Kol saw the look on your face.

"What I mean is-"

"You think you're the only one suffering here? I have had to spend time with someone I detest, I am away from my friends. You're not the person I wanted to spend my time with. So if you even think for a moment you're in a worse situation then me I will be more than happy to sort that out"

"You- you detest me?"

"How can I not? You're arrogant, rude, manipulative and let's not forget you're just plain evil"

He stayed quiet and you lifted your head up in triumph. You headed up into Damon's room and fell asleep on his huge bed

Someone began to shake you awake.

"Y/N, Y/N"

You opened an eye groggily.

"What?"

"It's nearly dawn."

"Yeah, I can see that."

"We need to go outside, Rebekah sent us our way out"

After hearing this, you were more alert. You jumped out of Damon's bed and downstairs into the Salvatore's front garden, remembering your 2 bags of clothes.

"You need to slide your finger across that small blade, just enough to drop some of your blood in and hold on."

You did as Kol instructed.

"In about 2 minutes the morning sun will roll over where we are, this will open up the portal and we can leave."

"Thank you for waking me up, Kol. I would hate to think that you would've left me here all alone"

"I'm not always evil, especially not to beautiful girls as yourself."

You smiled a little. Although you disliked Kol, he was growing on you.

"The sun's here. Don't let go"

You nodded and tightened your grasp. You felt a sensation of someone pulling you in a million different directions. Your lungs were squeezed and you felt as if you couldn't breathe. Your head felt like it was about to explode when you crashed onto the gravel that was in their front garden.

"I'm surprised you and my brother didn't kill each other." Rebekah said helping you up

"What can I say? He's grown on me"

You didn't know it, but Kol was smiling and in his head, he was so happy that with one small act of kindness he could change the way you thought about him, even if it was only a little bit.
