Memories (Killua x Reader)

Chapter 1

Your POV

'Should we wake her up?'

'Is she alive?'

'I don't know, should we call for help?'

'Tch'

I slowly opened my eyes, revealing the boys I've been hearing for a while now.

"Oh! You're awake!" The male with raven, spiked hair yelled out at me. He kneeled down on the ground next to me. I starred at him confusingly, then shifted my gaze to his white-haired friend. I studied his exquisite features, not being able to remove my eyes from him.

"Oi, are you okay weirdo?" He sneered.

I blushed then looked away pouting.

I stood up from the tree I was laying against and dusted the dirt off my pants.

"I'm fine." You blurted out.

"Why are you in the middle of the forest then?" The white-haired boy questioned. The spiked-haired boy stood up in response.

"Why are you in the forest?" You retorted back at the male.

After that statement, you froze in place. Why am I in the middle of this forest?

"Ma'am, may we know your name?" The tanner one asked.

"My...name.." I mumbled.

Why can't I remember my name?

"Oh! It's (y/n)!"

I heard a soft chuckle from the pale boy.

"Baka." He whispered to himself.

I squinted my eyes in ignorance towards the boy.

"Don't mind him, (y/n). I'm Gon! And that's Killua." He jolted his thumb towards the boy.

"It's nice to meet you guys.. Um.." I mumbled the last part.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"Whale Island." Gon smiled.

My eyes widened in surprise.

Whale Island? What am I doing all the way over here?

"Where are you from?" Killua asked.

"Yorknew.."

The boys eyes widened.

"That's far.."

"I know.."

There was a moment of silence until Gon bursted out an idea.

"I got it! Why don't you stay with Killua and I, and then tomorrow we can help you get to Yorknew!"

"That's very nice of you Gon, but I think I can handle it myself." I smiled at the boy.

I saw a hint of disappointment in Killua's eyes, but he quickly hid his emotions.

"Are you sure?" Killua asked.

I nodded.

The boys were hesitant to let me go on by myself, but finally gave in.

"Take care, (Y/n)!"

"You too, Gon!"

I glanced at Killua one last time and smiled. He blushed and instantly looked away.

2nd POV

You walked through the forest until you could see a faint light. You walked closer and discovered a somewhat village area.

You found a small bench and took a seat. You reached into your pocket, only to find out they were empty.

"Well, there goes my plan of buying a ship ticket." You muttered. You sighed in annoyance and tried to think of a way to get out of the island.

'Maybe I shouldn't have been so denial and accepted help from the boys.' You mentally scolded yourself.

You started to watch the people walk past you. A strange looking man caught your attention. His peculiar appearance caused you to stare. Bright orange-red hair, and his attire almost resembled to a joker's. You giggled to yourself, but later regretted it. The man turned his attention towards you. He held his head in disappointment then, started to walk towards you. You didn't dare to move. As he got closer, his mutters were now audible.

"Honestly (y/n), you can't always do things on your own." He muttered loud enough for you to hear.

"Wait..How do you-"

The man placed his hand over your eyes, and soon everything went black.
