Memories (Killua x Reader)

Chapter 11

Sunshine broke through the small cracks the blinds wouldn't cover. Your eyes pried open.

You laid in bed for a couple minutes, starring at the same old ceiling.

The muffled voices you were hearing just became louder. You slipped out of bed and headed towards the door that led to the rest of the hotel room.

"Where are you going ?"

"I have bad news Killua."

You stopped your pace and stood by the door. As guilty as you felt for eavesdropping, you couldn't interrupt at a moment like this.

"What is it?"

"Abe isn't doing well, I think I should go see her."

(a/n: Abe is Gon's great grandmother who made an appearance on episode 1 (: Just in case some people didn't know)

Silence fell upon the room.

You didn't know quite well what was going on, but obviously someone who was probably dear to Gon was doing badly in health.

"When do we pack?" Killua asked.

"Actually, it'll be just me."

"What? But-"

"We can't be dragging (y/n) places, especially not back to Whale Island." Gon states.

Your heart dropped and sank down to your stomach.

Oh how you wanted to yell. Tell them not to worry about you, to go ahead and go.

But you were afraid.

"You're right." Killua replies.

"I'm leaving it up to you to help (y/n) for the time I'm gone. I can call Kurapika and maybe he can-"

"I got it, I can do it myself." Killua interrupts.

"Okay..well I have to go. I'll see you guys soon hopefully. Take good care of (y/n)."

Footsteps led to the door.

"Oh and Killua.."

"Yeah?"

Gon smirked to himself. "Nothing."

The door closed.

You took a minute, then slowly opened the door, and shuffled your feet towards the male.

"Killua.. I'm sorry."

"Huh? Were you-"

"Go after him, I can take care of myself." You lowered your head.

"I'm not going anywhere (y/n)." Killua sighed.

"You honestly sound like you want to get rid of me." Killua laughs.

"N-no, I just... feel bad I guess."

"You need to focus on you" Killua grabs a seat in the dining area. "For example, what are we going to do. Now that Gon's not here, we can discuss about who you are." Killua stated calmly, unwrapping a piece of candy.
