My fingers swipe over dusty glass tables now.
They no longer swipe over the surface of her soft skin.
The left side of my bed is now cold, and empty.
Her warmth doesn't radiate onto my sheets anymore. Her presence is absent now.
I will get her back

"Boss?"
I flinch at the sudden, dry voice that has interrupted my thoughts. A sigh slips out of my slightly gaped lips.
"Speak" I addressed without shifting my gaze from the glass my fingers were resting on.
"I have more information on our ta-(Y/n)."
I slowly turned to face the woman, who's voice has become annoying familiar.
"Killua Zoldyck." She slides me a picture, revealing a pale boy, with cerulean eyes, and strange, white-ish hair.
"He might seem familiar, for that years ago, we've encountered him. I doubt you've forgotten the trouble he's cost us, as well." She commented as my eyes scanned every detail of the picture.
"Without a doubt, I do remember. He has grown. Why are you introducing him to me once again?"
"(Y/n), was seen with him." She interrupts her statements by pulling out more pictures. The pictures showed her walking, fingers intertwined, with this kid, Killua. Her face covered, however I knew it was her. I'd recognize her from miles away.
I felt my blood beginning to boil, my muscles tensed. I knew my face was showing it, since Machi looked at me, concerned. (Y/n) always made me vulnerable. Even just the thought of her.
"We'd have to kill him-"
"-yes. We do. Send two members right now. Up to you, I don't care who." I spoke quickly, demandingly, interrupting her. It was by far the smartest idea she's ever spoke out.
"But sir, we cannot. Half of the remaining members are off, in the process of completing a mission that was assigned 2 days ago-"
"-I don't care, call them back." My left hand wrapped around my right one, my fingers constantly moving from anxiousness.
"I don't think we can-"
"-I said do it!" I stood up, slamming my fist into the glass of the table. Watching the glass in front of me shatter into small bits.
Her eyes widened, she immediately felt intimidated. Without another word, another fixated gaze, she walked off.
With a deep breath, I calmed myself down. My muscles relaxing. I sat back down on the wooden stool, hearing the pieces of glass under me get crushed.
Our abandoned base felt even emptier without her.
I need her now.
