Chapter 6

Calum's POV

For some reason I couldn't stop thinking of her. Her smile, her laugh, her face, her humour, her everything.
But I can't be having any feelings for her right? I mean I barely knew her. But..damn. She's just too beautiful. The way she cares for people. How she makes people happy. I just can't stop thinking about her.

"Uumm, earth to Calum? Are you here?" asked Michael while waving his hand in front of me.

"Ouh yeah, I'm here. Sorry mate just thinking".

"What were you thinking of?" asked Ashton.

"Or who? Were you thinking of" said Luke while smirking at me.

I just rolled my eyes. I swear, Luke always thinks he knows what I'm thinking about. But this time he was right. It was a who.

I went to my room and just sat on my bed.

Can I text her?

Wait. Of course I can right? I mean there's nothing stopping me, so why not. I got out my phone and tapped her name.

Uuh. What am I going to say? Hi Heaven how you been? No, we just hanged out yesterday.

Calum: Hey Heaven

Well, I guess that's okay. I waited a couple of minutes then I heard a message come in.

Heaven: Hey Cal :)

*chuckles*. A smiley face.

Calum: What're you doing?
Heaven: Meh, chores.
Calum: Ouh okay.

Oh shit. Now what? Hmm

Calum: Um, can we meet? I want to know more about you.

I want to know more about you? Really Cal? That was the best thing you could think of?

*Ding*

Heaven: Um like you alone?

Me alone? I guess

Calum: Yeah, can we?
Heaven: Yeah sure! Just tell me when and where and we're good.
Calum:Yeah, how about Taco Bell? At 10?
Heaven: Okay, sure. I'll call you when I get there.
Calum: Okay, see you later.

Yes. I did it. I had butterflies in my tummy the whole time I texted her. I fell back on my bed hugging my phone to my chest while smiling from ear to ear.

"Hey Cal, we wanted to go for brunch cause we're going to write lyrics at 2 so if you wanna... Cal?" asked Luke after seeing me smiling stupidly.

"Yeah, sorry".

"Cal...what's going on? You know that only happens to you when you just texted a girl you like" said Luke.

I just blankly stared at him and slowly a smile appeared on my face.

"It was Hea- never mind that. What were you saying?" I said almost saying Heaven's name.

"Heaven? It was Heaven?" asked Luke in a confused tone.

I didn't know what to do so I just stared at him and blinked.

"SHE WAS THE ONE THAT YOU WERE THINKING OF" shouted Luke.

"Shhhh, don't let the other guys hear you!" I exclaimed.

"Oooh...so you got the hots for Heaven huh?" asked Luke smirking.

"I don't know, it's just like everytime I see her I just get- wait why am I telling you this? You're just gonna tell the other guys".

"No no no, I want to hear it and I promise I won't tell a single soul" said Luke leaning against the door frame.

"I just get butterflies when I'm around her and I don't know what it is but something about her that makes me feel attracted to her".

"Well, why don't you ask her out?" asked Luke

"I can't just ask her out I barely know her!".

"Okay okay chill, how about you get to know her better like talk to her" said Luke.

"How can I do that with you guys around? So that's why I asked her to meet me up at Taco Bell for brunch at 10".

"What? Really?" asked Luke with his eyes widened with curiosity.

"Yup".

"Well, you better hurry up it's already 9.45" said Luke.

"What? That fast? Wow, well I better get dressed" I said while eyeing him out the door.

"What? Ouh yeah, of course. Don't want the lucky guy to be late for his date right?" said Luke smiling like an idiot while walking out the door.

I just laughed and watch him close the door. I got up and picked a plain black tank top and skinny jeans and my red beanie. I walked out the door and saw the guys outside in the living room since our hotel rooms were like conjoined suites.

"Where are you going Mr.Hood?" asked Ashton.

I walked towards the door and said
"Heaven" and went out the door. I walked to the lift and went down to the hotel lobby. I asked the receptionist if there is any rides available. There was a car available so I hopped on and told the man to go to Taco Bell. Fans were swarming outside but I had to hurry or else I was going to be late and that would be a bad first impression on Heaven.

*Ding*

Heaven: Cal, where are you?

Oh shit. Is she there already? I said at 10 now it's only 9.50.

Calum: I'm on my way there. Why? You there already?
Heaven: No, there's slight traffic I may be a bit late.
Calum: Yea no worries, just call when you get there.
Heaven: Okay, thanks.

Phew. Okay now I know I won't be late. But wait, did she say traffic?
And in fact what I saw infront was low and behold traffic.

"I know a shortcut around here to get there faster. Are you okay with it? Are you in a hurry?" asked the driver.

Was I? I don't think so but I didn't want to be late.

"Um no, but I would love to get there fast cause there would be a girl waiting for me if I'm late".

"Ah, I see. A date. Well don't want to be late for that now" said the driver.

"Yes sir" I said smiling.

"Well here we go" said the driver.

After a few minutes we arrived at Taco Bell and I thanked and tipped  him for getting me here with the shortcut. I entered Taco Bell and found a spot perfect for me and Heaven. So far, no one has noticed me yet.
