chapter 9

~Allison's pov~

I put up and took down pictures of people and how they're connected to Courtney. "ok so Courtney knew him" I said pointing to a picture of harry's cousin.

"so that's how she met harry" Brittany helped me explain to Sadie and Kaitlin.

"ok so she went to a party did they hook up?" Kaitlin asked us 

"who raped her?" Sadie added

. "we don't know for sure but I think they at least hooked up" I answered.

"lets find out!" Sadie said getting up off of my bed. we went in the car and were on our way to the house again. when we get there we rush to the door. I bang as many times as it takes until someone answers, he looks familiar.

"oh hey Brittany" he says trying to flirt with her.

"get out of my way Conor!" she said pushing past him. we all follow Brittany. im sure if it was a different time she would have just sayed there and flirted but we are all worried about Courtney.

"wheres jake!" I yell catching him off guard. he doesn't say anything but just points over to the couch where all of the guys are crowded around. there watching some sort of wrestling match on tv. "jake!" I yell staring at him.

"just a moment" he says completely distracted by the tv to even look at me.

"no! now" he finally looks over.

"oh hey Allison" he smiles at me "oh and you brought more friends" his smile goes from friendly to creepy in a second.

"so!' I snap at him but he doesn't seem to care. he walks toward us.

"what do you want now?" he asks me when he get so close, to close for comfort.

"i know you know more then you led on last time I was here!" I yell,

"what makes you think that?" he asks me.

"we just know!' Sadie yells from behind me. he stood there silent.

"lets all go somewhere more private" he says, then leads us to a library looking room. !there are so many books in here. Courtney would love picking them apart and including them inn her writing. she get so inspired from things like this. "what do you want to know?" he asks us while he sits down on a chair behind a desk. we ask him simple questions at first like, where is he now? then we get into more like feelings. he answers all of our questions its surprising how cooperate he is being. after a hour of talking with him we know more then ever. that she was about to leave but he made her stay. how harry found her attractive and wanted her. how she wanted him. how she ran from upstairs half naked through the house. how he was nice to her. how she called us, which we obviously knew. we are about to walk out the door but we are stopped by conor

"hey you forgot this" he says handing Brittany her phone with that smirk on his face. god I hate guys like him. "don't worry I put my number in it" he says then basically pushes us out the door. we get in the car and review all of the information. we know the area around where the cabin is but not sure.

"if only we knew someone who was good with computers and this stuff, maybe even going to college for it!" Sadie says to me sarcastically.

"no Courtney would kill us!" I say knowing who she is talking about.

"who?" Kaitlin asks clueless obviously. Sadie is about to tell them but I put up my hand to stop her.

"don't even bother we aren't calling him anyways so drop it!" I know if Sadie says who it is they will agree but im suppose to protect Courtney from being hurt and if the first thing she sees when she gets out of there is him she would lose it! I cant believe Sadie would even bring him up I know he isn't the one who hurt her but he is tied to them and will remind her of all of it. we finally get back to our apartment.

"maybe we should get a hotel room in Duluth" I say laughing. its kind of ridiculous driving back and forth everyday. the girls just laugh. I leave them to go to the bathroom, on my way back I hear something I know I shouldn't.

"I want to call Christian I think he could help!" Sadie tells kate and Brittany.

"oh I think she would like seeing him" Kaitlin says honestly

"what do you think britt?" Sadie asks her

"im not sure she might but I don't know..." I am not sure if that was the end of her sentence or not, but you cant really tell with Brittany.

"come on it was them not Christian who messed it up!" Sadie says trying to get britt on her side.

"correction it was him not Christian or her" Brittany snaps. I like how we all speak so weird when we talk about this but we understand.

"this might be our only chance to find her" Sadie says calmly. I hear a loud sigh

"fine lets call him" Brittany said. for some reason I expected her to be on my side not Sadie's.

"no!" I scream running to the kitchen where the three of them stand. "don't you dare call Christian!" I snap and take the phone. I look at it, its on recent calls all to and from Christian. "you've been in contact with him?" I ask her not believing what I am seeing.

"yes" she says softly. that's it im done, im going to explode

"how dare you! you go behind courtneys back like that!" I yell at her

"it wasn't him who was mean it was matt! and he was worried about her, and he doesn't have many friends so I felt bad" she said trying to make up excuses.

"youre wrong! he might not have done anything but that's the point isn't it?!" I yell back getting louder with every word.

"hes sorry he feels-" I cut her off

"save it! I just don't think she would want this!" I admit to them.

"maybe not but its our only way to find her" Sadie says trying to comfort me best she can. kate and britt look ready to cry from the little fight Sadie and I just had.

"fine let call Christian" I pause "ill call him" I press the call button.

"hello?" he answers

"its Allison.. don't hang up!" I say knowing he would

"whats wrong?" he asks, he knows I would talk to him just to talk.

"its Courtney..... you know your sister!" I snap at him, he just goes silent for a while.
