~Allison's POV~
"NO there is no way she can get out! now just tell them bye!" I yell at Brittany and hang up my phone. Brittany wanted me to get Courtney out of the hospital just so she could see Ska-Skank Redemption. She needs to get better not worse! Brittany is just a chicken and doesn't want to tell them. I hear my phone buzz against the table I slammed it on. I look
*I told them, the dinner is still on. meet us at apple bees at 7*
the text from Brittany reads. I cant believe she actually grew some balls and told them. I rush to the living room and tell Sadie and Kaitlin. Sadie screams and Kaitlin starts to giggle because she is too excited. I decide to curl my hair and put on my pink lace dress on. I do my make up and its almost 6:30pm. I look at the girls and they look like total scrubs!
"what?!" I yell half laughing.
"what?" kailtin asks confused. I point to the clock and they both shoot up.
"shit!" Sadie mumbles scrambling to find good clothes to wear. Sadie and Kaitlin both put on cute dresses and straighten their hair. after Sadie finally finishes we leave. When we arrive at apple bees we quickly lay eyes upon the five boys we once knew, well men. as an impulse we all run to them and they embrace us in tight hugs. We hardly knew them but it doesn't matter. we sit down at the table.
"so why couldn't Courtney come?" the cutest and tallest one asks me. I spit out the food I had in my mouth.
"Brittany" I scold her and see her sink in her seat. "Courtney is at the hospital" I tell him and he gets a worried look on his face.
"why?" he asks. "she just has some issues" I tell them, I don't want to tell them shes a crazy bitch. "lets go see her!" he says standing up. "check!" he waves his hand around and a waitress comes with the check. "ill pay" he smiles at us and pulls out his wallet. we get in our cars and I lead them there. I can't help but think that this is a very bad idea! we arrive there and the boys looked shocked.
"what?" I ask them as they look just frozen.
"I was here earlier! I told you it was her!" ryan says smacking dan on the arm.
"really?" I Brittany looks so shocked. well we all kinda were but not as bad as her. The only thing I want to know is why is he here?
"I was visiting my mom, she works here" ryan said answering my exact thoughts .
"come on I want to see her!" clyde said in a whining voice.
"just because you have a crush doesn't mean you can act like a little kid." ryan scolds him. I laugh cause he turns bright red.
"fine" clyde mumbles making it even more funny to me. we walk in and get clearance for only two at a time. clyde and I go into her room while the others stand looking into her room through the glass.
"Courtney" I say as I stand only three feet away from her. She looks incredibly creepy right now. She is in a corner in a ball balancing on the front of her feet. I find this also incredibly ironic, the Courtney I know she couldn't even walk and breath at the same time. She starts to turn around. Our eyes meet and she stands up. I find myself scared almost, I cant believe it took me to realize this isn't the Courtney I know anymore. The Courtney I know, well knew is gone now. This girl has black mark and bags under her eyes, Her hair a too dark brown, and her eyes they don't have any light left in them. "sweetie" I say trying not to sound to terrified.
"you rawhrawh" she mumbles so much I cant make out all of it.
"what?" I ask her leaning in closer.
"YOU NEVER CAME!" she yells at me then huddles back into her corner. my heart nearly breaks shes mad because I haven't come to see her in a while.
"im here now and I brought clyde" I know I got her attention cause she perked up and looked at me. she sits down on her butt and looks up at me.
"clyde?" she sounds like a child. That's when I see it! The light flashes in her eyes again like it use to. I feel hope coursing through my veins making me want to cry happy tears. she reaches up and touches my cheek. I see water on her finger. "im sorry don't cry Allison" she says putting her head down like she is in trouble. I cry even more and smile.
"Im crying because im happy!" I tell her and I sit down next to her wrapping my arms around her.
"im getting better, I promise" she tells me. "clyde?" she asks, I can tell by her tone she remembers him. I get off of her and help her up. she wraps her arms around him hugging him. "its been way too long!" she tells him and he nods.
"im so happy to see you!" he tells her as he tucks a piece of her hair behind her ear. he leans in and I know what hes going to do. she stops him when hes only a inch away from her lips.she looks down and I notice my eyes and clydes follow hers. Damn! She's huge! his eyes go huge.
"im sorry" she whispers to him. he just shakes his head
"no its my fault" he says trying to smile but I can tell its fake. "sorry" he says like a whisper and he runs from the room.
"its beautiful!" I say rubbing her belly, I almost forgot she was pregnant. she sits down at her little table.
"sit?" she says looking at me like shes a child again. I sit down next to her. I notice a piece of paper with crayon on it. I pick it up to look at it.
"whats this?" I ask her, my tone is harsh. I hold up the picture of what l guess is her and harry crying right next to a grave with a tiny coffin in it.
"my baby is dying." she says crying.
"Courtney it was just a bad dream" I tell her hoping that is what it was.
"no no it wasn't!" she says shaking her head vigorously. "I can feel it, that doctors says shes fine but I know shes dying!" ive never seen her this much of a wreck before. I am not sure what to do. I just pat her head and make a shushing noise.
"its ok" I tell her as I smooth out her hair. we sit like that for a few moments before a nurse comes in.
"im sorry but you need to leave" she tells me. I get up and Courtney wont let go of my hand.
"I will be back tomorrow" I tell her.
"promise?" she pleads.
"promise." I tell her and she smiles but it soon goes back to a frown. I hear her whisper as I walk out
"she wont come" It breaks my heart that she thinks that. When I see the others I am hit by their questions like a semi. I just stay silent and make Sadie drive us home. I cant even talk right now. we get to our house. The guys followed us, Brittany must have told them to come over. kate unlocks the door to our house and we all pile in. I sit on the chair in the dinning room while the others just talk in the living room. The first thing I have to decide is weather or not to tell harry and if I tell him how do I even get ahold of him? Brittany constantly asks me to tell her but I don't talk.
"I think Allison is now crazy too!" she tells everyone as she goes to sit back down. Maybe I am, it would make sense kinda. I guess I just want something to blame this on.
"hello?" I hear kate say. I get up and see she is on her phone. She goes to her room but I can still hear her.
"mom.... slow down!" she says loudly.
"danny?" danny is her cousin from back home.
"im im coming!" she sounds frantic. I open her door and see her on the floor crying.
"its my cousin Allison he is in the hospital! he had cancer! Hes dying ali!" she cries into my shirt as I hug her.
"go" I tell her and we start to pack up her things.
"whats going on??" Brittany asks poking her head in.
"kate needs to go home! her cousin is dying." I tell britt and she automatically starts helping us. we go to the car and put all her bags in there.
"are you sure you can drive?" Sadie asks kate
"im sure" she says rubbing her eyes. she goes into the car and starts it. She leaves. now its just us and the guys. Two down three to go.
