Sara ran down the stairs, and grabbed the plain-colored phone.

Madam Thompson was confused, "What is with the rush?!"

"I'll talk later, i need to call..... a friend."

Madam Thompson smiled at the word friend. She was very happy for her. The old Mistress had Sara for years and adopted her, yet she was still in the orphanage. It was a bright and sunny Saturday, and that was usually when kids like Sara would hang out, oh she had been hoping for this day for her.

Sara gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and went upstairs. She quickly took a hot shower and got dressed, just in case Steve needed her to come over. She put on her warm yellow v-neck, which showed she was happy, and certainly not depressed about killing a person. Ugh, the flashback came back to her, and Sara shuddered. The blood, her innocence, herself. "Retard"

Sara dialed his simple number, and got ahold of him, unlike the last person she called: her best friend Rodney.

"Hello?" Sara smiled at Steve's voice. She needed him now more than ever, which she never really needed the bully anyway

"Steve, help me."

"Sara? What's wrong?" Dang, he actually sounded compassionate.

A brief silence went over the two.

"Come over. Now." Steve ordered.

Sara grabbed her bag, and ran. Ran harder than she had ever. She was scared Miranda would spot her, and luckily she didn't. More importantly, she put on deoderant so she wasn't a "stinkbag" when she got there.

Steve took Sara's hand and led her up to his surprisingly clean room.

"Oh, hi Sara!" smiled Steve's mom. She didn't know about him and Rodney so she was a bit hesitant letting a girl up there.

"Come on mom, this is important." His face looked pretty important, and not a sex-craving face, which was his usual face.

Steve's mom quickly looked at Sara, and Sara stared at her. They then walked up the creaky old stairs.

"What's going on, Sara?" He grabbed her hand to make sure Sara would not leave. This was important.

Sara just sat there, blank, with a single tear running down her cheek.

"Sara, I promise I won't tell."He whispered.

Sara held out the gun, staring down at it, and the tear dropped onto the gun.

"What happened?" He sorta looked like she was trying to kill him.

"I killed someone!" She cried.

Steve was amazed that she could actually do that. She was so....innocent.

"Who, and where?"

She told him all about the scene with Miranda's dad and how Miranda threatened him, and the deadly bloody scene.

"And then i had to kill the nurse."

"Sara, what was her name?" He sounded scared.

"Gohely."

Oh shit. Steve told her who Nurse Gohely was. She was his aunt.

"You killed my aunt!" He was getting a bit angry

"I need help!" Sara started crying.

"Go see the counselor." He could barely look at her anymore. He was scared of what to do.

"Who?" She looked down, ashamed of herself.

"Ms. Nowlek. You retard, you killed my aunt!" He starting weeping, and screamed at Sara to get out.

Retard. Sara hated that word. Over and over again.

Sara ran down the stairs, and cried. His mother asked what was wrong, and Sara was just speechless. She then asked Steve, but Steve was flustered. He could not tell anything. He promised, even to a killer.

Sara ran into the park, leaned up against a wall, and tried to drown in her tears. Many people looked by, but didn't stop to ask what was wrong. She felt terrible, and screamed to God, and did not care what people thought because people never thought about her.

"Dear God, please fix this. I need help. I need it. I need it!" She weeped very loudly, and a person came over and told her to be quiet, for they were reading. She looked at the stranger, nodded her head, and ran back home. Madam was wondering what was wrong with her, yet Sara was speechless, and would not explain anything. She went to her room, and cried in her sheets.

Deja Vu.
