Chapter 30:

Jessica's POV:

"She was the most successfully hidden secret in the music industry. She blew your minds away with an amazing performance. Her personality has won over the hearts of all the celebrities she's met. She even asked me to wear this shirt. Please welcome, Jessica Bieber!" Ellen DeGeneres announced.

I can't believe my first interview was with her. I used to watch reruns of her show in my spare time because she's that hilarious, amazing, and I just love her. Meeting Ellen was taking this relationship to a whole new level.

I walked from behind the screen, waving and smiling at the cheering crowd while I descended the few steps. Please don't fall. Please don't fall. Please do- ah, I made it.

Ice Ice Baby played overhead while Ellen danced to it. I laughed, strolling my way over to her then joining in. Everybody cheered us on as we swayed to the beat and used out dated dance moves at each other.

I laughed when the music died down and Ellen pulled me into a hug. She smells so nice. I snapped myself out of that thought and finally tugged away when I realized I held on for too long.

We sat down in her signature red seats and waited as the cheering finally quieted. I gave one last wave to a couple of screaming teenagers who were a tad more pumped up than the rest of the crowd.

"This is amazing to meet you," Ellen started off. I looked at her with a complete baffled look on my face. "Are you kidding me? It's amazing to meet you! I can't believe this right now," I shot back. "No, really! You were incredible," she complimented me, her audience screaming in agreement. I looked at all of them then became thankful of the shot my publicist made me take backstage.

"I used to watch your show all the time. I just think you're hilarious and beautiful-" Ellen cut me off with a playful, "Used too?" I laughed along with everyone before sobering up. "No, I watch it in my free time. I just haven't had a lot of free time lately," I admitted. She gave me a sarcastic 'mhm' while studying some note cards in her hand.

"Seriously. You are so hilarious, and Tony?" I asked, turning around to face Ellen's DJ sitting behind his mini booth. "Ah, yes?" he asked in his amazing, British accent. Kind of reminds me of- oh hey, there's that shot kicking in to take my thoughts off him.

"I think I speak for everyone when I say that you are adorable, and your laugh is the funniest thing ever. I just- I love you," I complimented him, smiling. "Why thank you," he laughed (his amazing laugh) and smiled back.

"Hitting on Tony, are we?" Ellen asked. I spun to face her, my eyes widening. "No! I just- he's Tony and just- no," I shook my head covering my face with my hands. "It's alright. We'll get back to that later," she insisted, skipping the awkward topic.

"So, I think that we can all agree that the song was amazing. You looked beautiful. You're an incredible singer. And just watch what these other stars are saying about you," Ellen announced, motioning towards the screen behind her. I turned towards it, not expecting what was going to happen.

It was filmed from of the photographer/interviewers on the red carpet on the way in and out of the building where the party was held. The video was filled with little clips of other celebrities' opinions on me, and thankfully she was only showing the good ones.

The stars either complimented my song, the singing, how I looked, my personality, or so forth. It was honestly outstanding to see what they all thought. When the video ended, Ellen and I turned back towards the crowd, and they clapped.

"See? You're practically already a legend," she said making me scoff. "No, don't say that. That's insulting all the real legends out there," I pointed out, nodding at the people who laughed. "No! You were one of the biggest reveals in the music industry in years. If you looked up the definition of 'legend' in the dictionary, you would see your name," Ellen came back with an accusing smile. "Yep, right under the section that's called antonyms," I stated, drawing a line in the air with my hand.
