Hi all, I'd just like to apologise in advance for the size of this chapter. I just really wanted to upload it because I've been a bit slack lately and this is all I've got. Really proud of it, short and sweet, its all about quality not quantity right?

“Hey Jacqui, thanks for having me on the show,” he says with that damned annoying charm he’s got.
“Oh Harry, you know you can come on any day you like,” flirts back the talk show host, earning a bit of a laugh from the audience. “So lets get down to this boy. I’m going to assume you were paying attention to what we were talking about before. Yes am I right? Ok good. Now please do tell us all the true story on what’s happening between you and Maddy. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting here for an answer!”
Harry looks around for a bit, seemingly thinking, delaying his reply as much as possible. Finally his eyes land on mine and he begins. “I’m gonna let you in on a little secret here Jacqui. And you can’t tell a soul.”
“I would never.”
“It’s a bit of a long one, is that ok? Have I got time for that?”
“Harry you know you can have as much time as you want,” Jacqui replies. I just sit there listening intently, I’m actually rather interested to find out what he’s going to say.
“A long time ago, maybe 6 years ago, there was a teenage boy who was in love. But this teenage boy auditioned for a singing show and soon became famous, leaving his girlfriend behind. He was absolutely heartbroken and promised himself that he would never, ever fall for anyone again. So as he and his friends became more famous he decided that he was going to convince the world he was the little player he isn’t.
“That was until he met a certain girl. Now this might sound a bit cheesy Jacqui, but the moment he saw her, he just wanted to know more; to find out her story and talk to her. They met at a meet and greet and he saw her for a total of forty-five seconds. I know what you’re all thinking. That is the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard. But you had to have been there; to have been him to understand.
“The boy finally manages to shake the image of the unnamed girl out of his head when he sees her again in a years’ time. Imagine his joy when he found out that she was at his concert with backstage tickets and he got to spend a whole hour with her, listening to her story. She was the most down to earth, hilarious girl he had ever met. So he took her with him to some music awards and had the second best night of his life.
“When he went back to his England, they actually kept in contact. However there were many things that were bothering him about his new friendship. 1 – they were becoming closer every single day and he was worried about the promise he made to himself. 2 - she was a fan and it was against all his rules to ever get this close with a fan. And 3 – he couldn’t shake the fact that he was falling incredibly in love with her.
“Imagine his joy when he helped all of her dreams come true. She became famous and lived the life she always wanted. One secret that he never told anyone was that he was actually glad she was getting used to the attention so that if one day in his wildest dreams they got together she would be able to handle it. But he always knew at the back of his mind that he wasn’t good enough for her.” Harry takes a break looking up at me and staring deep into my eyes, voice cracking. He’s talking about me, right? But why? Why is he saying all of this stuff for the first time in public where it can be kept forever? Why is he doing this?
“The girl got a real boyfriend one day, one that he knew she actually loved. And boy did that hurt him. It was something like 3 years after he realised he loved her and she just couldn’t ever pick up on the subtle hints he gave her. He was used to having any girl he could ever have wanted, yet the one his heart was set on was never his.
“Finally, not too long ago, was the day when his heart shattered. He planned the most romantic way to finally tell her he loved her. Gifts, food, anything she ever could have wanted. He was so sure that she would want to be with him, because he was going to show her just how much he loved her. He even argued that he would leave the band that his entire life was now revolved around so that he could be with her. It was all he had wanted for 3 years now and he thought he would get it.
“Now ladies and gentleman, please imagine his face when she said no; when she said that she wouldn’t even give them a shot. I mean, he gave her everything he could possibly think of and she wouldn’t even try. He let himself fall for someone again and got hurt ten times worst than the first time. Can you please try to imagine how much that would hurt Maddy?” And with that, he got up and wiped a real tear from his eye, storming out of the building.
