Chapter 18: Baby Time

A/N: Soo Wattpad made an update for iPhone, so I'll be able to upload much faster now! How'd everyone like last chapter? Anyways, this chapter is one of my favorites, and I hope you guys enjoy. I have a little in David's POV just for this chapter. We haven't heard a lot of him, so... yeah. I love you all! <3

Allison is now 8 months pregnant. And she's the most gorgeous pregnant lady I've seen. The wedding was coming along together perfectly. Yesterday, David and Danielle had a court house wedding, because their birthday was yesterday and they turned 18. So they were not bound their parents. They were gonna have to official ceremony later on. Also, that same day, they adopted 8 year old Destiny. Danielle's parents didn't even put up a fight. Yes, they were rich, but constantly told Destiny she was a mistake, and they didn't need her in their lives. So when Danielle filled out the paper work, she became her legal guardian. The state couldn't even protest it, because Danielle and David were already basically millionaires. They had all the things they needed to take care of Destiny. I'm so glad for my little buddy, as I like to call her. She no longer had to endure the hatred of her parents.

I'm up at 2:30AM just laying in bed thinking about how good life turned in a matter of 10 months. I looked down at Alli and her now bulging stomach and kissed her forehead. She's so beautiful just laying here. All the sudden, my phone stares blaring out "Love Somebody" by Maroon 5 (it's a really good song). I jumped and saw David and Danielle's picture appear on my iPhone.

"Hello?" I answer groggily.

"IT'S BABY TIME! I need you to swing by my house, and get the baby bag. I can't believe I forgot it. But use your key to let you in. Oh, and Danielle wants Alli in the room, so make sure he has on tennis shoes!" David screamed into the phone.

"OH MY GOD. OKAY. OKAY. WE'RE coming!" I yelled back. Alli wiggled out of my arms and looked at me like I was crazy. One thing you don't do is wake a pregnant lady out of her sleep.

"Babe! You have to get up! The twins are coming! Danielle wants you to be in the room, so I'll help you put on some tennis shoes!" I yelled helping her stand up. She immediately went into panic mode.

"OH MY GOD. We have to get their bag!" She added trying to move around fast. I couldn't help but laugh at her. She's too pregnant to walk fast so she settled for a slower pace. I reached for her tennis shoes and helped her slide them on because she can't even see her belly button, much less her feet.

"You done?" She asked me sarcastically. I was having a bit of trouble.

"Yes," I replied.

"Okay, I'll head down stairs. I'm driving, and I don't care what you say because you drive like an old man. Look in my dresser and get the charm bracelet we bought her, grab your key to their house, and lets go," she said commanding. Not wanting to piss her off, I followed her instructions.


After our stop at Danielle's house, we were finally at the hospital.

"How are you baby?" Alli asked Danielle.

"I WANT THESE FUCKING THINGS OUT OF ME RIGHT NOW," she screamed. Shawn and I couldn't help but laugh, which earned us a yell. Then we got kicked out like it was a class in middle school or something. We came out of the room still laughing and saw David pacing in the hallway.

"What's wrong bro?" I asked.

"I- I'm- I'm not ready. We already have Destiny. I don't know if I can handle twins," he said with a blank stare looking down the hallway.

"Look dude, it's just too late. Cody and I have known you all our lives, and we know you're not the one to give up easily. You always have been the leader, and right now it's time for you to lead your beautiful family. You have a gorgeous girl in that room who is willing to love you through anything. She's carrying two of your sons, David. Sons. That way the proud Stevens name is carried on. Your dad was a piece of shit to you, and this is your chance to prove him wrong. Show him you will provide for your family. And be the best damn dad you can to these kids. Okay? You hear me?" Shawn said practically in David's face. I couldn't help but agree. Leave it up to Shawn to give a motivational speech, he's good at them.

"Okay. Thanks guys. I love y'all, just like brothers," he said engulfing us in the biggest bro hug ever.

"We love you too man. Go in there. We'll be here for you no matter what," I said hugging him again.

"Excuse me, not to interrupt this 'man power' session," I heard Doctor Tasha say. We all laughed and she continued, "But from what I understand, somebody's wife is ready to push these twins. So, Mr. David Stevens, now is the time. We need ya," she said tugging him away. He took in a deep breath, and stuck his chest out, and entered the room, boldly like a man.





*~! Alli's POV !~*




"Ma'am, you can only take one person in addition to the father of the baby. Who's it going to be because we have to get them in scrubs," one of the nurses said to Danielle. She resembles Jennifer Aniston.

"I can't choose!" She snapped.

"The longer you wait, the longer the boys will be in you. Eva, just go with her, and I'll stay here," I said.

"Shit," Eva mumbled as water fell from her legs.

"WE NEED A NURSE. HER WATER BROKE!" Nurse Jackie her name was, yelled.

"Ma'am, you're gonna have to go lay down in here until it's time for your delivery," she explained to Eva. That meant I had to go with Danielle.

"Okay love, I'll be back as soon as she's done with the boys. Okay? I love you so much. See you in an hour," I said kissing Eva's forehead.

"I love you too, Eva!" Danielle called as she was being rolled down the hallway.

"I LOVE YOU GUYS!" We heard Eva yell behind us. Both of my best friends are going into labor the same day, and I have to wait at least one more month. Not fair.

I quickly scrubbed up, and headed in the delivery room. Danielle refused to push unless I was there.

"Okay, you ready?" I asked looking at David.

"Yeah, you ready babe?" He asked Danielle.

"Yeah, thank you guys so much. I love y'all," she replied. David kissed her lips and I kissed her forehead.

"We're ready Doc," David said to doctor Tasha.

"Okay, the baby only needs about 4 good pushes, you're fully dilated. So on 3.... 1.... 2 ..... 3!" She yelled. Danielle grabbed my hand and squeezed like never before. I winced in pain, but I didn't let go. I had to be there for my best friend.

"Okay. Alli, call the next push. The first one was great. We might not need 4," Tasha said after about 10 minutes of letting Danielle rest. I feel so sorry for her, cause she'll have to do this twice.

"Okay. 1...... 2 ........ 3! PUSH!" I yelled. Danielle pushed hard so the first one popped out and Doctor Tasha caught him. She patted his butt and he wailed. All 3 of us started crying. I never thought a scream could be so comforting. Little Caleb Nathaniel was here, and he's healthy.

"Dad, this one will only take one push, but the chord is wrapped around him. So you'll have to cut quickly. Okay?" Tasha instructed. "David, you make the call."

"Okay babe. One last push. Ready? 1..... 2 ........ 3!" His voice boomed. She pushed and pushed and finally Christian Nicholas came out. Doctor Tasha spanked him to get him to cry... Nothing.... She tried again.... Nothing....

"Come on son, do it for daddy," David said as tears poured down his face. I guess Christian heard that, and he wailed loud!

"YES!" David paraded and kissed Danielle deeply. She was so happy and we all cried.

About 20 minutes later, nurse Jackie came back with a beige blanket for Caleb, with a blue hat. And a blue blanket with a beige hat for Christian. She handed Caleb to Danielle, and Christian to me. Their faces lit up at the sight of their parents. I stood there holding Christian. I knew that if I just talked to him, he would eventually yell. There's nothing like holding your own creation in your hands. I counted 10 toes and 10 fingers: Perfect.

"Can we switch?" I asked Danielle, eager to see my other son.

"Sure," she said handing Caleb to me as I handed her Christian. I immediately noticed how much the same they were. They both had Danielle's crystal blue eyes, my olive colored skin (which they'll thank me for later), Danielle's cute nose, my big hands, and Danielle's brown hair. Which they were bound to get because mine is black/brown like hers.

My sons are perfect, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I don't know why I was so scared. But this is my time to raise them to be an awesome dad to my kids, and show them how to be ladies men. I can already tell. Christian will play basketball and football, while Caleb will play baseball and football. Caleb is gonna go after Kyden with his charm he already has, while Christian will definitely go after Kristyn. It'll be perfect. I just can't wait.



*~! Alli's POV !~*



20 minutes later, nurse Jackie came back with a beige blanket for Caleb, with a blue hat. And a blue blanket with a beige hat for Christian. She handed Caleb to Danielle, and Christian to David. Their faces lit up.

"Hi, my little miracle," David said as he cooed at Christian. I stood next to Danielle, peeking at Caleb. He winked at me with his little eyes.

"Oh my God, David, your son's a flirt like you," Danielle said laughing. "You wanna hold him?" She asked me. I nodded and she slipped little Caleb Nathaniel in my arms.

"Hi buddy. I'm your God-mom. You're gonna marry her, she's inside of me right here, Okay? Her name is Kyden, and she is going to be gorgeous. And you're so cute," I cooed. I spent about 10 minutes with Caleb, and switched to Christian.

"Hi Christian, I'm your auntie Alli. You're not my God-Son, but you minus well be. You belong to Eva, and you're gonna marry her daughter okay? And that way, we'll all be related in some way," I cooed. I held him a bit longer until someone informed me that Eva was ready to push. I gave him back to David and rushed out.

"You guys are making awesome parents already. I love y'all," I said exiting and heading to my other best friend's room.



Once I got in the room, Eva immediately yelled at me.

"Well it took you long enough?!?!" She said. "I'm sorry, it's just the pain talking. I can't believe they talked me and Danielle into have natural births. How are they by the way?" She asked. Okay, maybe it's just me. But if a human body was about to come out of my vagina, I wouldn't care about anything but getting it out of me.

"Uhh, they're fine! Christian, which is your daughter's husband, and God-son had the chord wrapped around his neck. But when David cut it, Christian wasn't breathing. His daddy talked to him, and immediately he started crying, and breathing," I explained. Eva's tears rushed down her face, and she started crying.

"Who would've thought 10 months ago, we would be here? I can only imagine how I'll feel once I can hold Kristyn Danielle," she said and rubbed her belly one last time.

"Sorry to interrupt, but baby Kristyn is ready to come," Doctor Tasha said. We both nodded and Shawn came over to the bed. Even though Eva was hurting, she was still up for a conversation, which is weird. I love my best friend so much.

"Okay, I'll call the first push, Alli you call the second, and dad you call the last one, and we should have a beautiful baby girl. Y'all ready?" She asked. We all said yes including Eva. "Alright. Push on 3. 1....... 2 .......... 3!" She said in the same fashion as she delivered the twins. Eva's nails clawed into my skin, but like I said, I'm gonna be here for my best friends, so I just endured it. She only gave Eva 3 minutes to rest because Kristyn was eager to get out.

"Alli! Call it!" She shouted.

"Okay best friend, here we go! 1 ....... 2 ......... 3! PUSH!" I yelled. She dug into my skin and Kristyn was crowning.

"Last one daddy, you ready?" She asked Shawn. Tears filled his eyes, and he said, "I've waited my whole life," and kissed Eva's lips quickly. Tears started down everyone's face as Shawn called the last push.

"Okay, here comes daddy's little girl. 1 ....... 2 ....... 3! COME ON BABY, DADDY'S HERE!" He yelled. Eva dug down even harder and soon a loud wail filled the room. Shawn cut the chord quickly. The nurses exaimened my God-Daughter. Baby Kristyn had a head full of jet black hair, she weighed 6 pounds and 3 ounces.

"Thank you so much baby," Shawn said as he kissed Eva all over her face. The doctor told us that Kristyn was perfect, and she could go home today because she was very healthy.

They brought my God-baby in and Eva craddled her and cooed. "This is mommy, that's daddy, and this is one of your God-moms.The other one just gave birth to your husband, and I heard he's already a fighter," she said and giggled. Shawn shot her a death glare, but then softened when he saw the two loves of his life staring at each other.

"She's so perfect," Shawn said.

"Here, hold your baby girl," Eva said handing Shawn Kristyn. I can't wait until I share this moment with my Cody. He held Kristyn so close.

"Hi Kris. You're so gorgeous and beautiful like your mommy. I love you so much already. Okay? You're perfect. But now, I'm getting scared because Daddy is a big guy, and your so tiny. So I'm giving you to Auntie Alli," he said motioning me over.

"Can I really?" I asked Eva. She's so small, and chubby and cute.

"You're her God-Mom! Of course you can," she replied. I kissed her cheek, then held Kristyn. I made gurgly noises at her and she showed a toothless smile.

"She loves you already!" Eva said really excited.

"Hi baby. We're gonna be best friends okay? I never want you to be scared to talk to me about anything. And you're going to be so gorgeous. Your hair is already curly and long like your mommy's. You, your mommy, daddy, Uncle Cody, Auntie Dani, and Uncle David mean so much to me! And so does your husband Christian and your brother in law Caleb," I joked catching a glimpse at Shawn he chuckled and shook his head.

"And ya know what? You and this little baby in here are gonna be best friends. Her name is Kyden Michelle. Can you say hi?" I asked, knowing she wouldn't. But shockingly, she said something that sounded like "best friend" and I felt Kyden kick. "Uhh- That was weird!" I said standing up carefully.

"She said best friend?!" Eva said freaking out.

"YES! And at the same time, Kyden kicked! But anyways baby Kristyn, you guys may fight, but you will always be there for each other. Isn't that right Kyden?" I said. My baby girl kicked again.

"Okay, she kicked again. This is just getting weird!" I said. "I love you so much, already," I said finally, handing her back to Eva.

"We're ready to sew you up soon to be Mrs. Robinson! You can go home in about an hour. I have never seen babies as healthy as you and your best friend! And both of you guys recovered so well. Hopefully Alli's will go this smoothe also," Doctor Tasha said. I smiled and Shawn and I had to leave.

One the way to the waiting room, Shawn and I talked.

"Thank you so much for being here. I don't think you know how much it means to Eva and I. I love you little sis," Shawn said hugging me. I love getting close to Shawn. I could call him any time Cody was pissing me off, or if Eva or Danielle and I got into an argument. He always made me feel so much better, like a big brother should.

"I love ya too bro. Thank you for everything," I said walking into the waiting room. Cody was left out there by himself for about 3 hours. I texted him, and asked him to get the paper work so Eva and Danielle wouldn't have to wait after they get sewn up. I smiled as I entered and saw his hair disheveled and he was getting frustrated with the lady at the front desk.

"Can I have the papers for an early release please ma'am. I would not like to ask again," he said.

"Give me your number, and you can have them," she replied.

"We have been through this like 12 times. My soon to be wife is pregnant. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. And I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but you're nothing compared to her," he said whisper yelling.

"Well, looks like I'll have to get ghetto. See you in a minute Shawn," I said patting his back, and walking towards the scene.

"Hey baby!" I said which startled him and the receptionist. "I couldn't help but notice you was up here flirtin wit MY man. Girl, HE DON'T WANT YOU!" I said clapping my hands after every word of "he don't want you." "Don't you see I got his baby?! Back up off my boo thang. And gimme dem papas," I said as ghetto as I possibly could. She looked scared out of her mind.

"Uhm. Yes ma'am. Right away," she said standing and grabbing the papers. Cody and I laughed until she returned.

"Thank you. That wasn't that hard to do, was it? And I'll be notifying my parents, Doctors Cooper. Yes, I am their one and only daughter. Goodbye," I said in my regular voice leaving her confused.




We all decided to stay with my parents for tonight because we didn't want to drive home. We all were very tired. They were with us in the sitting room, along with Jace. We all were cooing at the new babies.

"Oh! Eva and Dani, I have something for you guys," I said reaching into my purse and grabbing two slinder boxes.

"This is called a Push Present. It's for women after they give birth, and it was the least I could say to thank you guys for being awesome best friends, and I know you'll be even better moms and God-moms!" I said handing them their respective boxes. On Eva's bracelet, it had a baby girl that had curly hair, the letter K, the letter S, and the letter E. It also had a heart and a pink carriage. Danielle's was a little harder to pick out because her sons had the same initials, so I got her a necklace instead. It said "Caleb Nathaniel & Christian Nicholas. June 11th, 2013."

"How'd you know they were gonna be born today?!" They both asked.

"Well, since Cody was right about our daughter's gender, I wanted to see what day he thought the twins were going to be born, and that's what he said," I responded smiling at Cody.

"Uhhmm... I'm the only one that hasn't gotten to hold the babies. Can I?" He asked shyly.

"Of course!" Eva said handing him Kristyn.

"Hey you! You took my wife's middle name, but I think that's alright. You are so pretty, you know that? And I will kill any boy that breaks your heart. Because I love my little niece so much, already. Even though technically you're my little cousin, I wanna be your uncle too. Hahaha," he said handing her off to my mom. Up next was Caleb.

"My little dude-" Cody started. Jace shot him a death look, and everyone laughed. "Okay, I'll call you my little guy then. That alright with you Jace?" He asked and chuckled.

"Fine by me. Just don't think you can take my man away from me," Jace said, snapping his hands in a "z" formation. Everyone just about died laughing.

"Hey little guy... You're so adorable. And your my God-Kid. I think you'll be awesome at football. And from what I hear, you're supposed to marry my little girl... Just don't break her cute little heart. Okay? Alright," Cody cooed some more, and gave Caleb back to me. Last to go was Christian.

"Hi Chris. Ooh, you're a big guy already. You're probably gonna be a linebacker! You see Kristyn over there? That's yo girl cuhzz!" Cody said in a wanna be ghetto voice. Everyone laughed again. "You and my little baby girl are gonna be close, okay? Like your daddy and Auntie Alli are close. I'm gonna need you to protect her. And take care of her. Alright? Thanks bud," he said giving him to David.





Cody and I slept in my old room that night. We were just laying silently in each others arms.

"Babe?" Cody asked.

"Yes?"

"I don't regret anything," he said.

"What do you mean?" I said, confused.

"I don't regret meeting you. I don't regret going to Hawaii, and getting you pregnant. When I held Kristyn, I was done. I was so in love at that moment. And I wouldn't trade having my own baby girl for anything. I can't wait until her tiny fingers wrap around mine. Thank you so much for keeping this baby, and keeping me in your life. It means so much to me," Cody said and kissed my forehead.

"You're welcome baby. I can't wait for her to get here either. I hope she gets your eyes. Ooh! And I hope she gets your eye brows! Cause I always have to get mine done, and yours are just perfect!" I said sitting up getting a little too excited.

"Hahaha! I hope she has your hair. It's so beautiful, just like your mommy," Cody said making noises toward my belly.

Well, I'll be married in a week. Yes, June 18th is our wedding day. And everything is in order. I just have to buy Cody's wedding ring. And after that, the next big event is baby Kyden Michelle Anderson. And I cannot wait to see my very own baby girl.
