Chapter 29: Kelly?

*~! Alli's POV*~!


Cody and I went to pick up Jace after he got out of school. He slid into my car beside his niece.

"Cody!" He yelled, almost making me slam on my brakes.

"Sup little dude!" Cody replied I rolled my eyes at the both of them.

"You have a big sister... I've known you for all the 9 years of your life," I said and he chuckled.

"Hi big sis!" He greeted before kissing Kyden's cheek.

We drove to a laser tagging place so the boys could play, and we invited everyone out.

"Give me a hug Jace!" I screamed as soon as we stepped out of the car. Destiny was walking towards us, and I wanted to embarrass him. I placed a big huge kiss on his cheek and spun him around.

"Alli. Stop. She's right there," he scoffed and wiped his cheek as I set him down. Everyone was laughing and his face flushed.

"Can we talk, Jace?" I asked, whisking him away after everyone got settled. Danielle and I were gonna stay with the babies, while everyone else played.

"What's up?" He asked when we were alone.

"Nothing, I just miss you kid," I admitted hugging him again.

"I miss you too Allison," he breathed.

"I love you, Mr. Peepee," I whispered and teased. He peed in his bed until he was 5, and that's been his nickname ever since.

"I love you too, Mrs. Poopoo," he whispered back. My nickname came because one time, I changed his diaper, and he popped all over my face... Yeah, not the best memory.

We walked back to the group, and Cody was waiting on me with our daughter.

"Have fun babe," I smiled and he kissed me. Not a big fan of PDA, we pulled away quickly. No one wants to basically see sex in public places.

"I love you," he whispered and kissed me and Kyden.

"Y'all act like he was going off to war or something!" Danielle joked as she kissed David quickly, letting him slip away.

I laughed and picked up Caleb placing him with Kyden.

Danielle and I waited for about 2 hours, and they were finally done. Danielle and I whined and complained like slaves.

"What took you so long?!" Danielle slung her arm around Eva.

"We just got into it, let us get the carseats," David said and pulled two carseats in his arms. Cody got Krystin and Shawn had Kyden. Letting Destiny and Jace trail behind us, we walked into a Cheddar's restaurant.

"We need the biggest table you have," Shawn requested, and the lady led us to a 20 table setting. Our parents were coming out, so there was enough room for everyone.

"Hi everybody!" My mom greeted and kissed everyone's cheeks, followed by my dad.

"Hi," everyone replied in unison.

After we ordered, I took Kyden to the bathroom to change her diaper.

"I'm gonna go change her, I'll be right back," I promised the group.

I swayed into the bathroom, and came face to face with her: Jessica. Not only Jessica but Kelly too.

"Eww, there's that half breed baby," Jessica commented.

"Shut up Jessica. My daughter looks better than you ever will, and she's not even 1 yet," I snapped.

"She's ugly," she spat back.

"You can't even lie. My daughter is absolutely gorgeous. Get out my face, bitch."

"C-uhmm... Can I h-hold her?" Kelly asked shyly. Jessica and I both had a face of shock.

"You what?" I asked, waiting on her to repeat.

"I... I uhmm... I want to hold her," Kelly repeated. "Jess, leave," she told her minion. Jessica slipped away, and obeyed.

"Uhh, here?" I said and reluctantly handing Kyden to her.

"She is gorgeous..." Kelly trailed off. My mind was going in circles, and I couldn't understand this scene.

"Alli, are you... Well look at this shit!" Eva yelled as she came into the bathroom.

"Allison, she looks just like you," my sister in law spoke. "She has Cody's eyes though," she finished. Eva and I stood there with our mouthes open.

"Okay, this is a little weird," I broke the silence as Kelly gawked at my daughter.

"Alli, I didn't know you even gave birth. I had no idea that my niece was even alive... But now that I know, I realize this whole thing is so stupid," she admitted kissing Kyden's head and handing her back to me.

"Kelly, I've always wanted your approval since the day Cody asked me out. But now you're confusing me," I laughed quietly and shook my head.

"What I'm trying to say is that I realized this 'plan' was stupid. I realized that being racist toward you was stupid. And I realized keeping myself away from you and my family was stupid," she sighed. "I'm sorry," she whispered and brought me into a hug. I stood stiff for a while, before giving in.

"It's okay..." I trailed off.

"Do you forgive me? I want to have a real sister in law relationship, like lunch and stuff?" Kelly asked and I nodded.

"I forgive you," I smiled and hugged her again. "You know what we should do?" I asked.

"What?" Eva asked from the background.

"We should walk out with Kelly holding Kyden and watch their faces," I giggled imagining Cody's face.

"I like you already Alli!" Kelly laughed and took Kyden away. "I would love to spend more time with you precious girl," she cooed and my daughter giggled.

Eva walked out first, with a smile, followed by me.

"Babe, where's Kyden?" Cody asked. Just as soon as he questioned, Kelly came out with our baby girl.

"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!" Cody yelled and all attention turned to him.

"Kelly?!" Everyone else screamed. I noticed Momma K and Dad had joined the party.

"Uhh, Kelly and I had a talk in the bathroom. We want to actually give a shot at being friends and sisters... And I want her to become apart of this family again," I requested. Everyone stared, not saying a word.

"Guys, really. It'll be the exact same! Except with an additional person, well 2 people. Just, give her a chance?" I pleaded.

We stood there. Eva, me and Kelly. We just stood and waited for what seemed like forever.

"Welcome back baby girl," Dad spoke first. He came over to Kelly and kissed her forehead. Everyone followed suit with tears and kisses.

"YAAAAAAAY! And now this family is complete, 100%," Momma K commented.

"Except... There may be one thing you guys don't know..." Kelly trailed off. "I'm pregnant, but it isn't Trent's... It's Joshua's. We've been together for 6 months now, and I'm 4 months," she shyly admitted. Everyone let out a gasp.

"Well when is he coming back?!" Dad asked eagerly. Obviously, they love this Joshua guy, including Cody and Shawn. I guess my little 15 minutes of fame in this family is over.

Cody pulled me off to a corner while everyone was still talking and welcoming Kelly back.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"It's uhm..." I started. He gave me that look that said 'No More Secrets' and I nodded. "Okay, I just I don't know babe. Kinda like they'll love me less now that Kelly's back," I sighed.

"There was a really beautiful young lady that told me that you can love many people, you'll just love them differently. And you know what?" He questioned leaning his forehead against mine.

"What?" I replied, confused.

"I'm married and very much in love with that young lady," he whispered and pecked my lips. I remembered when Cody was scared about having another child, and I told him that.

"I love you too baby," I smiled. He pulled me into his arms and I melted from his touch.



After everyone was done, Cody and I went home with our daughter. Kyden, Cody, and I were sitting in the living room, watching 21 jump street of course.

"Baby?" Cody quietly called.

"Mhhmm?"

"Thank you. For you know, bringing Kelly back and forgiving her. It means so much to me. You know how close we were and I hope you guys become like that too," he smiled and kissed my cheek.
