*~! Cody's POV !~*

Allison is now 6 months pregnant, Kyden is a year and 2 months, and I am running the law firm.

Six months ago, I graduated from online. Turns out, Allison had the same opportunity to graduate as early as I did, letting us graduate together. But, with school and the law firm, my marriage became shaky.

"Hi babe," I smiled as I walked into the house. I came over and placed a kiss on her cheek. Allison didn't even give a reply. I frowned, walking to the living room. Kyden was playing with her toys sprawled over the rug.

"There's my baby girl," I grinned, picking Kyden up and tickling her.

"Daddy!" She gurgled. She's the only one in this house that will talk to me. Allison ignores me every time I say something to her, because I haven't spent much time at home. I sat Kyden down after playing with her for a few minutes.

Walking back into the kitchen, I notice Allison was cooking dinner.

"Uhm, can you at least talk to me?" I asked, loosening my tie.

"Yes, I am talking to you now," she retorted.

"No, I mean can you look me in my eye, and talk to me. I just want to see your smile, and hear your laugh again," I whined stalking over to my wife.

"Cody, that ship sailed when you got the job at the firm! We talked about this, you said you would still be the same man after you got the job, and the truth is that you're not. You lied to me when you said that, and you knew you did. I have never ever lied to you, and that was the first real lie you told me," she slammed a pot down.

"Babe, how did I lie?!" I screeched.

"It wasn't that you said that! You had the power for it not to end up like this, yet you failed! You failed at showing me that you love me! You failed at being home at a descent hour! And you failed at being a dad, Cody!" She screamed.

"Do not say that I'm a bad dad," I stood over, peering down at her.

"You know what, I'll take that back whenever you prove it to me," she whispered angrily.

"I swear, nothing I do is good anymore! You ignore the shit out of me, and I get so mad!" I yelled.

"Well you know, maybe if you showed a little more concern, ya know, telling me I'm pretty, or rubbing my stomach or my feet, you could've even tried taking a day off every week just to spend with me, but you didn't!" She poked me hard in my chest, pushing me back a little.

"What do you not understand?! I am working hard for you and our daughter! You have everything you want," I frowned.

"No I don't... If I had everything I wanted, I would be deeply in love with my husband, and he would still be my best friend. But the sad reality of it is that you're not. It's not about the money, Cody! It's not about making sure I have everything! What good is everything if I don't have you?!" She argued. My heart broke. She didn't love me anymore.

"Y-you still love me, right?" I inquired, tears streaming down both of our faces. She was quiet, just staring into my eyes. "A-Allison, you love me, r-right? We promised we would never fall out of love! You promised me!"

"Cody, I love you, and you know that. I love you so much, and you are very aware of that," she caressed my face.

"I love you so much Allison, please, just please don't give up on me. Don't give up on us," I whispered, pulling her into my arms. I held her close to my chest, as she sobbed. This is all my fault.

"Cody, I just don't know..." She trailed. I stepped back, looking in her eyes, searching them.

"You don't know? Don't know what?" I questioned.

"I love you, but... I don't know if I'm in love with you," she answered, wiping her face. There was no use, they kept coming as mine did.

"You're not in love with me?" I repeated in disbelief.

"I don't know, Cody. You're still the same man that I met in high school, it's just that I can't ever spend time with you, and that pisses me off. Sometimes I want you to come home, and hold me, and kiss me. Sometimes, I wouldn't mind if you came home early just to watch a movie or something with your daughter and I. And I- I appreciate when you bring me flowers, or those nights that you do make love to me, but Cody, that rarely happens anymore. I need to be around you more than your assistant or the others at the firm, and I'm not. It's frustrating," she shook her head.

"But baby, I- I'm trying. Please don't leave me," I cried, dropping to my knees.

"I'm not leaving you Cody. I just don't know how long this will last anymore. We were young and stupid and -" she started. I cut her off, looking up at the woman I love.

"You regret it?" I asked, slowly rising.

"I don't regret it, I just wish that we would've thought about it before we did it," she frowned.

"Wow, I can't believe you. We are in this till death due us apart, right? At least that's what you agreed to; before anything else, you are supposed to love me," I argued.

"And I do Cody! My problem is not that I don't love you, my problem is that you don't love me!" She screamed. Kyden was a mess in the living room, and I hated hearing her cry.

"How?! Babe, I love you with all my heart!" I retorted, kissing her lips passionately. I nudged her against the refrigerator and slid my tongue in her mouth. For the first time in a long time, she responded. She wrapped her arms around my neck as our tongues danced together. This is what it felt like. Before the firm, before the arguing, before the late nights.

I ground into her, as she gasped, moaning my name. My erection was pretty hard to conceal or control.

"Cody," she moaned. I pulled her lip, and released it.

"I will always love you, and I swear I will start showing it every chance I get," I whispered, holding her neck in my hand and pecking her lips one last time.

I walked to the living room, picking Kyden up and rocking her.

"It's okay baby. We won't fight anymore," I promised as I swayed. I sang Titanium in her ear as she hushed. She was out in a matter of minutes and I went to lay her down. I returned to the kitchen, seeing my beautiful wife standing in a corner, running her hands through her hair. Dinner was ready, but I wasn't in the mood to eat. I needed to prove that she and my daughter still mean the world to me.

I held her hand, and she looked up at me. She actually gave me a genuine smile. I tugged her out of the kitchen, tugging her and returned yet again to the living area. I turned on some music, our song we had our first dance to at the wedding: All I've Ever Needed.

"My bed sheets feel empty when you're not home," Alli sang sweetly in my ear.

"Your heartbeat helps me sleep. Your breath soothes my soul," I smiled as I sang back.

We swayed quietly to the music, and I rocked my baby back and forth. This was the first time she touched me in months. We still had sex, but that was only for ourselves. We hadn't made love since I got the job, we were simply having sex. I hated the lopsided relationship that we had, and starting that day, I was determined to fix it.

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too babe," she sighed, nuzzling into the crook of my neck. She called me babe, another something she hadn't done in a while. I got no terms of endearment, just Cody.

"Do you mean it?" I questioned, pulling her closer. Baby Kendrick was still in the way.

"Yes, I told you I mean it. I said I wasn't sure if I was still in love, but you know I will always love you. You're good to me and Ky," she smiled, kissing my neck.

"Good... C-can we sleep together? Like actually let me hold you until you go to sleep, and watch a movie? I miss you," I pleaded. Allison nodded, and I took her hand in mine, leading her across the hall to our room.

I slid my shirt and pants off, and watched as she peeled everything except her panties and a large shirt. I bit my lip, wanting to attack her body, but I felt that would be too much.

"You will always have my heart Anderson," she whispered as she snuggled into my chest. I kissed her hair, and turned on Lion King, her favorite.

"So, me and Kendrick haven't talked a lot," I laughed nervously, while sliding her shirt up. She ran her fingers over my face, pushing my hair back, and handing me a headband. I slid it on, and returned back to her stomach.

"Hi son," I smiled. "I'm sorry for making you and your mommy upset. Marriage isn't easy, but we're working on it. I'll always be in your life, no matter what. I'd rather it be with your mother, but considering how bad of a husband I've been, I wouldn't blame her if she divorced me. And I know, that would hurt me and you too. To prevent that, I will work so hard to make her fall back in love with me, and I will never stop. So, when you get here, hopefully mommy and daddy and Kyden will be very happy! I love you son, and I can't wait to meet you. You know, we should start talking more often. How about I spend a day with you and mommy and your sister tomorrow?" I asked as I looked up to meet Allison's watery eyes. "That alright?" I smirked, kissing her protruding stomach.

"That is more than alright with me," she giggled, kissing my forehead.

"Awesome, we should go to the zoo, it'll be fun, and it won't be as hot tomorrow. And Kyden would love the different animals, and we could have a picnic, and then we could walk around which would be good for you. And there will be sun and that should help with the baby too, and then-" I tried. Her lips were on mine before I could finish. I moved, straddling my gorgeous wife as our tongues meshed.

She roughly pulled away and smirked.

"You always have talked too much," she giggled.

"Well, I can make this simple. I'm going to make love to you... And that should help with the pregnancy too," I chuckled with a wink. She laughed pulling me back down to her lips.

*~! Allison's POV !~*

I couldn't even lie, I was on the verge of filing for divorce, but when we talked yesterday, that changed everything. Cody made me love him again, and he made me realize why I fell for him in the first place. I woke up, smiling thinking about last night, and our family date today.

I turned over to kiss Cody, but he wasn't there. If he backed out of our family time today, I was really going to be done. But, I had faith in my husband. Even though things have been rough, I don't think he will ever lie to me again.

"Good morning," those dimples and that perfect smile greeted as Cody came in with our daughter in his arms. She was dressed and ready. He even did her hair, which looked great.

"Awh, look at my babies," I grinned. Kyden jumped on our bed as Cody leaned and kissed me.

"Baby, you have to get ready, or we're gonna be late!" He called from the closet.

"Somebody's excited," I teased as he came out of his closet, wearing a black v-neck and camo shorts with his Jordans. His hair, as always, was soft, and just above his shoulders, where I liked it, and held by a black headband. His muscles threatened to burst out of the shirt, which made him look sexy as hell!

"I am very excited because," he paused, pulling me up. "I get to spend time with my favorite girls. Now, hurry!" He rushed as he slapped my butt. I yelped, throwing a devilish grin over my shoulders.

I stepped out the shower, and was met with blue eyes.

"How may I help you?" I giggled.

"Well for starters, you could just stand there and let me look at you. But since we are running a little late, I will settle for helping you with lotion," he smirked.

"Mhm, I may consider... And where is our daughter?" I asked.

"Our daughter?" His eyes lit up.

"I sure didn't have her asexually," I laughed, earning a chuckle from him.

"I know; you just haven't said our in a while, but she's with Eva downstairs. I thought it would be fun to invite her and Shawn and Kristyn," he smiled.

"Okay, let's get to lotioning. But we can't do anything, we don't have time," I mocked in his voice.

"Ooh, looks like someone's gotten a little feisty?! I might have to tame you again," he growled slapping my ass again.

"Stop Cody!" I whined, hiding the pleasure it secretly gave me.

"Hey, I've gotta tame you somehow," he smiled slyly.

We arrived at the zoo, and Kyden and Kristyn loved it. They barely walked around, with help from their parents, and pointed at everything. Cody held our hands and they were intertwined the whole time. He sported his wedding ring and family as we walked through the zoo. Well, they walked, I waddled.

Cody took pictures of Ky and I as we stood in front of different things. I was having so much fun, and Cody made me feel so loved and appreciated, and I saw how much he loved his daughter also.

We returned home after a fun filled day. Kyden was wiped out, and Cody wanted a night to ourselves so she went with her aunt.

"So, did you have fun?" Cody smirked as he kissed my cheek.

"Yes! Babe, the animals, and Ky and even the picnic, it was so much fun!" I squealed. He pulled me into his arms, wrapping them around my neck so he wouldn't harm the baby. "Thank you Cody," I smiled.

"For what?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"For showing me what I really am married to you for. And for making me see how stupid it would've been to throw this marriage away," I murmured into his neck.

"That's my job baby. I promised to never let you fall out of love, and I know I messed up, but I wanna prove to you how much I love you," he grinned unwrapping his arms and kissed my lips.

"I still love you," I smiled, his blue eyes twinkled.

"I still love you too," he pecked me again.

A/N: Question: Who has seen Catching Fire?! I went yesterday with my best friend, AND IT WAS SO GOOD! I cried like eight times, no joke. Please comment! Love you guys.
