A/N: Sorry! Most of this is in Allison's POV. I know, this story is supposed to be in Cody's POV! But the next two chapters I'll make in his POV I promise! This chapter is probably gonna be long. Sorry! Love you guys!
"Yes ma'am. I'm eating dinner at Allison's and meeting her parents. I'll be back at 9... Mmhhmm... Love you too mom.... Bye," he brought the phone down from his ear, and looked down at me, catching me gawking at him. I couldn't help it, he was adorable. Jace, my brother, was already home with the babysitter who was completely useless, considering he usually got off of the bus only fifteen minutes before I got home.
"Hey dude," I smiled, happy to see my younger sibling, "This is Cody. He's staying for dinner tonight," I waited for his reply, but he didn't move an inch.
"Jace... Jaaaaace! JACE. Come give me a hug, or I will turn this game off," I nodded towards the Xbox that he was consumed in. He hurriedly got up and hugged me.
"Who is this? Your booooyyyfriend?" He teased. "Sup dude. You uhhh, tapping that?" Jace smirked, whispering to Cody. Cody bit his lip, restraining his laughter as I flicked Jace's ear.
"Geez! Sorry. Do you play X-Box, Cody?" He asked with his eyes widened.
"Actually, I do! Maybe one day I can come over and play with you a bit?" Cody looked at me hopefully.
"I guess," I shrugged off trying not to show my smile. "But, right now you're here with me. So lets go mister," I grabbed Cody's hand, pulling him up and off my couch.
"Hey Vanessa, you can go home now," I briskly brushed past the useless babysitter with Cody's hand in mine; I was not a huge fan of her.
"Who's your friend?" she responded twirling her hair and batting her eyes at Cody, and suddenly, I was grateful for the fact she attended a different school.
"This is my boyfriend, meaning he is off limits," I grumbled and continued leading him into my room.
Once I pushed open my door, I sighed, happy to finally be home. I gave Cody the three second tour of my room, only pointing out my desk, restroom, and my bed that was in plain sight.
"So, we're dating now?" He smirked, flopping into my computer chair.
"No, not that I know of! But I had to say that to keep her away. I don't like her, at all. Never have, never will."
"I don't know, seemed like you were a little jealous to me," he chuckled. "Can I ask you a question?" he became serious in a matter of seconds.
"You already asked me a question by asking if you could, but yeah sure," I nodded.
"So, the first day I kinda of flirted you were being... Like mean kinda. What's up with that?" He frowned as he took my hand in his and gazed into my brown eyes.
"Uhm, well, back at my old school, I made a very regrettable mistake. My ex, Darius, and I and had been dating for about two weeks when he asked me to go to a party. I had never gone to a party before, so of course, I overdid it and I was beyond drunk. I partied hard but eventually, I had to rid of the alcohol, so I fled to a bathroom to throw up. While I was in there, there was a guy who happened to come in after I had cleaned myself up. He just smiled and left, claiming he had banged me in the bathroom. Darius treated me so bad after that, and I lost all my trust in guys. I am actually very happy that I moved here," I sighed after i explained.
"Oh really? And why is that?" Cody asked obliviously as he rose his eyebrow.
"Because here, I get a fresh, new, clean slate. And also, I... Can... Do... This..." I trailer kissing his lips slowly as the familiar but strange combination of and what was similar to chills ran through me.
