"No! I'm not!"

"Come on! For us, for yourself!" Rapunzel was yanking on Anna's arm trying to convince her to try out for the choir duets. Although Rap was putting all her efforts to pull Anna to the choir room, it didn't seem like she was moving at all.

Rap let go of Anna her hands on her knees and heaving. "Are you seriously not going to try out?"

"No, I don't want to, and even if I did I'm not prepared,", Anna says arms crossed.

I sigh. "Fine Anna," Rapunzel says hands still on her knees, but her eyes up looking at Anna pointedly.

"I'm sorry, but I told you I wasn't going to do it. Now hurry and go! Blind their ears with your incredible voices!

We laugh and I give Anna a hug. I've been pretty good keeping my nerves down so far, but now that the audition is so close....I couldn't stop shaking. My heart was hammering in my chest and my stomach felt squishy and uncomfortable.

"You'll be great," Anna whispers in my ear noticing my shaky state.

I give a light felt laugh and whisper, "Thanks." I pull away from her and smile. "You guys ready?" I ask Jack and Rapunzel trying to push down my complete dread of having to eventually walk in to the audition alone.

Rapunzel nods her mouth pulled tight. "Can you walk with us at least," she says turning to Anna, "it doesn't feel right leaving you out here."

Anna smiles and grabs Rapunzel ' s hand and then mine. We three smile at each other. I turn to look at Jack and a small smile lays on his face. I put out my hand to him and he takes it.

"Are you okay?" Jack looks at me with raised eyebrows and confusion on his face.

"Yeah! Of course," I say with a too high voice. The thing was, I wasn't okay, I was a complete wreck. My hands were on my bobbing legs and a cold sweat was creeping up my neck again. My heart was once again beating too quickly for my liking. My thoughts were jumbled of me ruining the audition, Anna being disappointed with me, my life crumbling because they decided that I didn't deserve to be in choir-

A rough hand gently grabbed mine and gave it a slight squeeze. I stop bobbing my legs and look into striking blue eyes. Eyes that were so full of faith and reassurance.

"You'll do great. Trust me." I give a genuine smile and squeeze his hand gently back in response. He smiles and doesn't let go of my hand. A part of me is thankful for it.

"Elsa,", I hear a voice whisper urgently. I tense and turn my gaze away from Jack to a girl who looked incredibly small in the doorway. "He's ready for you."

I gulp and try to control my breathing. Trying to just think inhale and exhale. I gently take my hand away from Jack's and stand to my feet.

As I'm about to turn to close the door behind me I see Jack looking at me with a worried expression. He realizes that I'm looking back and he smiles one of his mischievous smiles and winks at me playfully.

I give a closed smile, shake my head at him and close the door. He's so dumb sometimes. The thought gave me a warm feeling and made me smile as I opened the door to the audition room.

Giant sound boards were at the front of the room. The judges feet visible beneath. I take a shuttering breath and walk to the the tape x in the middle of the floor.

"Whenever you're ready", said a deep man's voice. I breathe trying to stop from shaking too much. The last thing I needed was a shaky voice.

I try to think of positive things. Anna, Rapunzel, and I holding hands determinedly. My friends and I singing at Lenny's. Jack looking at me with complete surety in his beautiful blue eyes.
