MY SMOL CHILD IS NO LONGER SMOl AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT IT SO HERE'S A CAL STORY TO CELEBRATE

[L A N A]

Lana looked at the clock while beating the table with her nails. She's been waiting for half an hour at this desert coffee shop, there where only like two couples. She was beyond annoyed, they could freely walk around the city, unlike her who had to hide herself because she was the second plate, as how she likes to call herself.
She could hear their giggles ringing trough her ears and she pulled her hair. She was three seconds away to send everything to hell but as always she didn't.
She felt someone tap her shoulder.
"Miss, Are you sure you don't want anything else?" The same young girl that brought her her coffee before asked. "No, I'm...still waiting. Don't worry." The girl just gave her a look of pity and smiled."Sure, just call me when you'll order."
She wishes she could have the strength enough to be on her own.
Lana took one last sip of her not-so-hot-now vanilla coffee and pressed her forehead against her arms on the table.
She knew this would never not be a bad idea, but she just couldn't resist those hypnotizing eyes.
Five minutes more passed before the little bell above the door announced that someone just stepped in yet Lana didn't look up already feeling defeated.
"I'm so sorry, babe" There he was, Calum Hood itself. His voice echoed the place, Lana didn't bother to look up, in fact she just shrugged her shoulders and sinked her body further in the booth.
She wouldn't actually act this pissed but it hasn't been one of her best days to be honest.
They were suppose to meet up for breakfast since they haven't seen each other for a couple of days but then he called her and said that Hazel was being complicated at the moment. Every time she heard her name would roll her eyes so hard that she was afraid one day they'd get stuck.
On top of that her boss called her saying that she wasn't being efficient enough and that she was just a kid that shouldn't be working, Lana wanted to slap the smirk out of his face but she knew she needed the job more than anything.
She heard him sigh. Calum took a seat next to Lana and wrapped one arm around her waist while trying to lift her head with his free hand. "Lana, baby." Calum said with a sweet tone. The girl slowly looked up at him and caught the stare that couldn't set her free.
"You're an asshole." She said softly and rested her head in his shoulder, making Calum smile.
"I know and I'm really really sorry, baby. It's just that...Hazel wanted to buy some..." Lana just clenched her jaw at the mention of her name and ignored half the things he said. "So I was stuck there for an hour." He said tired and brushed Lana's hair gently. "I'll make it up to you, I swear, she's just getting a little clingy bu-" Lana looked up and rolled her eyes before taking Calum by the collar and pressing her lips on his, the boy returned the kiss with hints of desperation.
Lana pulled away. "Stop babbling about her, she doesn't matter."
Lana wrapped her arms around his neck. "And she never will." Bitter words leaving her mouth.
Calum stared at her, a small smirk making its way to his face. He cupped her face with one hand, still holding her firmly close to him. "I missed you, Lana."
Lana savored the way he said her name, so she just hummed. "What bout you?" Calum tickled her side.
"You're not gonna say anything? huh." Lana let out a laugh and grabbed Calum's hands in hers, entwining their fingers.
Calum looked down at the gesture and the went back to look at Lana.
" I love you." Lana just kissed him in respond with a stinging throat.
She knew she wasn't the only one that got to hear those words.
