Her insides were actually trembling, the pit of her stomache was turned into a knot. Was it because of the jealousy? The boy she had given her all; was in front of her eyes, holding another girl's hand, who was apparently, perfect.

All eyes were piercing holes in her and Calum, who was just looking at Lana like an avalanche he couldn't avoid was about to crush him. The young girl waited showing patience and calm on her features. Seeing the tray offered to them, Hazel reached for a glass of champagne.

"Don't you want some, babe?" Hazel asked Calum and this one seemed to came back to the moment they were in and rapidly took one. "Are you okay?"

"Uh, yeah, yeah. Just a bit tired. Don't worry." Calum smiled at Hazel. The same smile Lana swore she would die for, but would the boy with the smile do the same for her?

"How's the night going?" Lana dared to ask.

"It's fine I guess, no one have had the time to mess up yet." Hazel smiled smugly at Ashton and then at Lana, whose knuckles were almost white. She caught Calum looking out of the corner of her eye, she actually wondered if he was checking her out, or if he couldn't believe that the two girls he was keeping in his collection were in the same place. They were all at the wrong time at the wrong place and they couldn't escape it, because it was meant to happen sometime.

"Oh, don't worry, no one here is gonna give you that pleasure." Lana smiled professionaly at her.

He now knew that you couldn't keep things hidden forever, they swim to the surface sooner or later. Obviously he prefered later, he didn't have the ability to deal with things under pressure, his bain just couldn't function.

Lana was in front of him with a perfect uniform offering them champagne at the dinner that his girlfriend organized with her family. Deep down he knew Lana approached them on purpose and he asks why would she do something as risky as that. Calum looked at his friends who appeared to be more nervous than he was and he wanted to laugh for a second.

He notices some tention, (which was ironically because there was tention enough to suffacte all the people at the restaurant) between Hazel and Lana. The last one was looking so vividly at them that he felt intimidated, he wished he would have passed out right in the spot to just avoid that encounter, but that was a weakling thought. He gained some composure and after taking a few sips from the glass he set it back in the tray looking fixedly at Lana's eyes. "Thank you." Lana just nodded at him.

"The food will be served in a couple of minutes, excuse me." Calum watched as Lana walked away with Ashton trailing behind. The curly haired boy was so head over heels for her that it annoyed Calum.

"Why were you so harsh on her?" Calum suddenly asked Hazel.

"She is not the best waitress in the world, that's all." She shrugged it off and drank from her glass. Michael and Luke were just expectants thinking about what to do if something had turned out bad.

"So you know her?" The tanned boy was intrigued. Hazel gave him a bored look. "Does it matter? I came here before, jesus."

Calum sighed and excused himself to go to the restroom and Hazel just let him know that they will save a seat for him.

He looked at the mirror, his mind was a total fuzz. Calum leant in the sink, inhaling and exhaling deeply, hoping nothing goes wrong but of course nothing is always what you expect. He splashed water in his face as if it was going to clear his ideas and find a way to fix the situation in the blink of an eye. He took off his jacket and stretched the white button up shirt. Then calmly, walked out of the restroom and guided his steps down the little hall. He was trying to find where was Hazel sitting but a bunch of people and waitress pacing here and there were distracting him. He narrowed his eyes and a girl figure walked in front of him, he reached for her elbow hastily but with careful. He went to speak but the words stopped mid sentence.

"May I help you?" Lana asked, never leaving her role. Calum took this as an opportunity to excuse himself. Which seemed to be the only thing he was a professional.

"Uh, Lana I didn't know this-" She cut him off. "I said, May I help you?" Calum's eyes narrowed in confusion.

"Well, I can't find my table." He scratched the back of his neck. Lana nodded and motioned for him to follow. It took him a few seconds to realized what she did, but quickly picked up to her pace. "Lana, please, we have to talk, I never meant for this to happen." He heard her sigh frustrated and she turned around to face him, Calum was caught off guard and bump into her. "I'm sorry." but Lana just ignored him and put her hands in front of her as a signal for him to not talk.

"There's nothing to talk about, Calum, actually I don't even care if you knew or not.. You came here with your girlfriend and her family, perfect." Calum wanted to talk so bad and give her some substanceless pleading.

"Don't say it like tha-"

"Listen, I'm stating facts. Now, please let me guide you to your table beause i'm not loosing my job just because of you." Lana spoke firmly and without stuttering. She continued to guide him, Calum felt a weird sensation, he was not used to Lana actually confronting him and it was because they never fight over anything, but the thing that left him unsettled was what she last thing she said. I'm not loosing my job just because of you ... because of you. She had said it like he didn't matter anymore. As if he was no one or he meant nothing.

Calum saw the table with Hazel and his friends, he felt relieved, he wasn't in the mood to have some structural chat with Hazel's parents.

"Here's your table, please tell me if one of you needs anything." Lana smiled politely. Calum caught his friends smiling reassuringly at Lana and he hated that.
