Addictive Love

Chapter twelve

At first I wasn't sure if it was true that Becca was dating Colton. But I said to her, "No your not". She said "Yes I am, he just asked me out"! "He said it was because you were taking to long to answer". I thought about this a second and then I realized that this might infact be true.

My heart pounded at the thought of this. I could feel tears coming, so I ran to the bathroom and into one of the stalls. I couldn't bear the fact that my love, was dating my best friend! But the last thing I wanted to do was cry in front of Becca. So I quickly said "I have to go", and hung up.

After that I just cried and cried. And to think, Colton the one I love so much, is dating Becca?! He told me he didn't like her?! I thought my life was over.

The next day at school, I promised myself that I wouldn't talk or look at Becca or Colton. I was so done. But right as I got to school, Colton came over to me and asked if I had my answer. I was so confused, was he really going to cheat on Becca?! I just turned and walked away.

During math class, I didn't look at Becca and she didn't look at me. I had way to much anger built up. We were doing something with finding x and y. I was not in the mood for school.

Finally math was over and it was lunch time. I was planning on not going to lunch and just leave school for the hour that we had lunch. As I started my way out of the school, Colton ran up to me and said "Avery, are you okay"? I looked at him in disgust. "Why the hell would you do this to me"?! "I thought you loved me"?!

He looked completely lost as he said "Do what"? I said "Why are you dating Becca"?! He looked at me with his beautiful but evil blue eyes and said "I'm NOT dating Becca"! "I would never date her"! "I love you Avery"! I said "Wait what, you mean she was lying"? He said "Yes"! "I would never do that to you"! I was so mad at Becca!

Obviously she's not a real friend, so I looked up at Colton and I said "My answer is yes"! Then he looked into my eyes and said "I love you". I then said "I love you too".
