Colton introduced me to his friends, Dan, Peter, and Issac. Dan seemed like a nice kid but he was really quiet and he looked sad most of the time. Peter had a lot of energy and a lot to say. He kept bugging Colton and saying "You like Avery, haha"! It got pretty annoying. Issac was kinda like Colton, a bad boy you could say.

After about half way into lunch, I went to dump my tray. When I came back I sat next to Colton again. He looked at me with his beautiful eyes in a way that made it hard to look away. As if he were hypnotizing you. Then without a pause, he gently grabbed my hand and held it. I felt like the luckiest person in the world. We held hands the whole lunch.

No one seemed to notice and I wanted to keep it that way. I didn't want anyone to get mad at me for liking Colton. But at the same time, I didn't really care, I just wanted to stay like this forever. I got to know Colton a little better. Such as, he likes football, loves the color blue, is 17 years old and hates Mr. Benjamin our art teacher. I told Colton things I would probably never tell anyone else.

At this point me and Colton were the only ones at the table. Becca kept giving me looks. Then I remembered what I promised I was going to ask him. "Colton, umm, well my friend Becca, was wondering if you by any chance liked her"? He looked up shocked and said "No I do not like her at all"!

This made me relax a little bit more. But before I knew it, the bell rang and I had to head to social studies. Colton had English which is in the other direction. As much as I didn't want to, I let go of Colton's hand and said "See you in art". He said "Okay I'll miss you"! Without even thinking I gave him a hug! I hope it wasn't to much but he seemed to like it.

We said bye and went our separate ways. I walked to social studies alone and thought about lunch. It was weird because Colton never mentioned his family, not once. I had told him about my brother Aaron and my parents and my pets, but he didn't mention his family once? It was as if he was hiding something.
