Chapter eight

It was 8th period, gym class. Becca was in that class. The first thing she did when she saw me was ask "Did you ask Colton if he liked me"? I panicked a second because I didn't want to hurt Becca'a feelings. I said "Yes". "Well what did he say"? She said in an almost rude tone. "He said that he doesn't like anyone", I knew it was a lie but what else was I supposed to say?

She said "Well he probably likes me and just doesn't want to admit it"! I think she said that for her own pride. I didn't really care if she wanted to say that as long as she stayed away from him.

The bell rang and it was time for art class! I was literally so excited to see him that I made it to class nearly two minutes early! And trust me, I'm never early! To my surprise Colton was already there! This made me really happy! Mr. Benjamin said he would be giving out assigned seats so everyone was to stand in the back of the room.

Me and Colton stood together in the back, talking about whether or not each other could draw good. Finally when everyone got here, Mr. Benjamin started giving people seats. Me and Colton ended up being at the same table across from each other!

Colton seemed happy about his new seat. The teacher had gave us a project but it had to do with drawing bubble letters. And I can't draw bubble letters good at all. Colton ended up helping me with almost all of it! But he never did his own work, almost as if he were putting me first!

Mr. Benjamin came over and said "Colton do your work"! Colton said "I'm helping Avery sorry". That made Mr. Benjamin really mad. He said "Either do your work or you will go to the office"! Colton said "I will when I'm done helping Avery". Colton kept calm but you could tell that he didnt care what Mr. Benjamin had to say.

Right then Mr. Benjamin said "Colton go to the office"! Colton had no choice but to go. But he insisted on finishing helping me first. It was like I was his priority.
