AMELIA
I slowly open my eyes and yawn myself awake. I had to blink several times before I was certain that I was going to stay up. I sit up, quickly noticing that Minho wasn't with me anymore, and look out the window of my room.
The sun slowly rises like a balloon over the horizon. The sun looks more unique when it sets over the West wall. I sigh and rise, stalking over to my burro. I look at my reflection, then pick up the brush, slowly brushing through my shiny, thick hair (I don't have thick hair :( ) in one swift motion. I continue for a couple minutes, leaving myself wondering if they have showers in this place. I really hope they do.
I have quite a lot of stuff in this room. I actually never saw that there was another door in my room that lead off into another mysterious room. I slowly walk over to it, twisting the rusty door knob. I walk in. There's a single window that is blurry, somehow I didn't see it while looking out of the homestead from outside, a toilet, sink, and shower. Well, my question got answered.
Score.
The floor and walls are updated, opposite of this building. Both are made up of tiles, which are specifically made for your average bathroom. What I don't get is how I know this stuff, yet I don't remember if I have a sister. This stuff is jacked up big time.
I walk out of the room, closing the door with an accidental slam. I wince at the noise and stand there for a moment, praying that no one heard me. I have two boys surrounding me, Newt and Minho, and they could wake up at any moment. Luckily, no one came.
I sigh in relief and open up my door, it squeaking on the hinges, making me wince again before sneaking out, shutting it softly behind me. I make my way out of the homestead and to the kitchen.
"Hey, Fry." I yawn, my eyes still tired with lurking sleep. "Hey there, Little Lady! (he'll call her that in everything 😂) Looks like you didn't get that much sleep last night. What kept you up?" I smile a little at the thought. "Almost died. And I'm tired because it's the morning, but I'm learning to be a morning person." "Oh, right. Sorry 'bout that. Have a nice run today, Little Lady!" "Thanks!"
I sit in the field with my breakfast, eggs, bacon, water, and an apple, and dig in. I have to get ready after I'm done, so I eat fairly quick. When I'm done, I throw the plate away and run into my room. I throw on my runner's clothes that Minho gave me yesterday and put my silky brown hair into a pony tail.
I then jog to the Map Room, seeing two bags already ready to go. "Hey there, ready to go?" I jump and turn around. Minho stands in front of me with a smirk on his face and his hands on his hips. Such sassy posture.
I hold my hands up. "Woah, the sass factor is real, dude."

I gasp as I jog into the Glade, wiping the sweat from my forehead. I shake my head and run to the Map Room. I map out my first official section with a smile glued on my face. "I'm going to take a shower." I say to Minho once I'm done. "Kay, don't use up all the hot water, shank!" He calls as I start to walk out.
I run into my room and into the newfound bathroom. I slowly strip my clothes off and start the shower. Soon, I see steam. I run my hand under, testing the warmth. Just perfect. I hop in.
I'm done in twenty minutes, including throwing my clothes on. I brush out my hair and brush my teeth quickly. My hair is only a little dried when I jog over to the kitchen, grabbing a tray, steak and water, and running, like this morning, to the field. I place myself and my foot down, shaking out my hair.
I dig in. Soon, I'm wiping my face with my hand and sighing in content. My first bonfire, tonight. I start to get excited. I can't wait to feel the relief, to have fun with Minho and possibly other friends. The sun starts to fade away.
Speaking of the Sass Queen, the boy comes strolling over to me after I threw away my food. I'm sprawled over a good section of fluffy grass. "Hey, I've been looking everywhere for you. You eat dinner?" He plops down next to me.
"Yeah, just ate." "You ready for tonight?" "Dude, please. Of course I am." Minho laughs, it's a beautiful sound. Him being carefree is great, he doesn't have anything to worry about. "I'm glad to hear it."
Minho stretches out next to me, laying by my side. We lay there in a comfortable silence, nothing disturbing us until Alby calls from across the Glade if Minho is ready to go help set up for the bonfire. "Can I help?" I ask. Minho chuckles. "Of course not, silly! It's for you, you're going to ruin your own surprise. Go in your room, I'll get you when it's time."

I'm sitting on my bed, looking at the ceiling in a daze when Minho comes barging in my room, excitement evident on his face. "Come on!" He squeals like a child. "Let's go to your bonfire!" With a smile, I crawl out of the bed and follow him to the field.
I stop and stare in amazement. A big fire pit is placed in the middle of the Glade, along with a drawn out circle on the side. Tables and logs surround the area. I snap out of my trance and follow Minho.
I find all of the Keepers, plus Alby and Newt, standing around the firepit with huge lit torches. Alby counted down from three, the boys all threw their torches into the fire, making the pit glaze. I took a little step back as a rush of heat smacks my face. Flames dance across one another as everyone gathers.
The bonfire has begun.
