I guess I've always neglected the fact that pudding was amazing.
Last time I had pudding, I was 7 and threw it up, ever since I've been too scared to try it.
Now here I was, basically scarfing down a spoonful of puddings thanks to Eva.
"Great, so we have a 4-day weekend starting tomorrow and no plans. Now what?" Teyla sat back in her seat.
"Sleepover your house?" Eva offers. I shrug not really caring about anything but the next spoonful of pudding. Heaven in a plastic cup.
After a few minutes of discussing we finally agree to a great plan that involves asking Teyla's mom for a huge favor.
"She'd never let me." Teyla whined.
"But you'd be going with Eva too. Plus it's only us."
Teyla awkwardly shifts in her seat and then nods with a forced smile. "I mean we could try asking, but you know how my parents are."
Oh we know. We know all too well.

Mrs. Jones jaw was somewhere in the basement."You wanna go where?!" She squeals.
Teyla nervously rambles on about our plan to New York to visit my cousins, Eva's grandma and to be tourists for Teyla's sake.
However, Teyla's parents have always been protective over their kids and won't let her go out if there isn't an adult present.
"Eva is going! She's basically an adult. She's been an adult since she came out the womb!" Teyla brings up.
I roll my eyes and plop down onto her couch to watch. It could take a while and I need popcorn.
"You expect your dad and I to be okay with," she gestures to us, "you three out for 3 days in another state?"
Well aren't we some rebellious teenagers.
"Heck yeah!" I yell.
They all stare at me with confusion and then return to the discussion.
Eva eventually steps away from the conversation and sits next to me.
"She's not going to be able to go. Watch." Eva bets.
I nod in agreement and let out a sigh.
We decided to stay at Teyla's house for a few hours before heading home, knowing that she won't be able to go.
"Doritos and Still Alice or Princess Diaries and M&M's?"
"Why not Doritos and Princess Diaries?" I ask and we all shrug in agreement. Teyla quickly runs to the kitchen and comes back with her arms full with water bottles, Doritos and Oreos.
Eva looks for the DVD when Teyla's parents walk in and signal for her to talk to them. A flash of fear goes across her face before leaving us in silence.
A few minutes later and Teyla comes back with a huge grin and a Caprisun in hand.
"I can go, but Vanessa has to come."
Her older sister from college had to tag along but it didn't matter at this point.
We get to go to New York.

Our science fair grade was a 100, thanks to Eva. Ashton's extra credit given to me was an extra few points that helped my grade so much. Great way to end the week. It deserves a fist pump.
