You'd think having your family like your friend would resolve everything and you can go out with said friend, your parents would be chill about it, sleepovers are like family reunions. Yeah not when your Aunt totally replaces you for Eva. She had shown Aunt Amelia how to make penne vodka, leading up to the mountainous piles of it on our plates. She was so happy that she learned how to do it, she looked at Eva like a prized possession.

The sound of forks hitting the plate and an occasional slurp from the immature guys were heard for a few minutes till Kendall decided to drop a bomb.

"We found a place." Gee I didn't know we were high school graduates telling our parents we were leaving. Hey while we're at it, lets just tell them all the stupid things we did before going off the college, maybe beg them for financial help during possibly the poorest years of our lives. Oh and after college I plan on backpacking through Europe. They'll be ecstatic.

Instead I sat in silence and confusion.

"It's not too expensive?" My uncle questioned. I sneak a look at Inez who is more concentrated on her food, I give her nudge to whom she responds with a simple shrug.

"Just about $60 a night. If everyone pitches in, we should be fine for the next 2 nights."

"Are you sure you'll all be okay? I mean this place is pretty big. You don't have to feel like a bother."

What the hell. They want to leave?

I know that maybe there was some tension between the guys and Jayden... well Ashton and Jayden, but I didn't think it'd be that bad.

"I promise we won't die. It'll be hard to look over the little ones though." Damien joked and then looking at Teyla and I.

"Whatever we're talking about, we can handle ourselves perfectly fine. I don't need these guys looking over me." It's not my fault I was born later in the year. October is great birthday month.

Aunt Amelia then looked at the guys in a striking manner. "You didn't even bother to tell Gen?"

"Apparently not." Someone please help the confused girl.

"Um, well we feel kind of bad that we invaded your family's apartment. We all decided to look for a motel to stay at." Kendall explained.

Ohhhhhh. Ha...

"But since sleeping beauty wasn't up, we talked it over without you." Much sass, Ashton. I guess he was still annoyed about those Manavon guys. Who knows what they were talking about but it sure got him going.

"We're all going to some motel? You do realize we'll need at least 2 rooms."

We're a group of 8 and sharing a room with 7 other people isn't exactly on my bucket list. Plus I doubt Teyla would like the guys finding out she snores, or Eva having them know she sleepwalks.

"It's covered. Girls have their own room, guys get our own room." Damien answers.

Fine with me, rather spend a night with my mains than the guys rioting.

"Cool, let's go check it out."

I wish I could say it was stunning, but the price said it all.

"Unless you're made of money, this is what we have to deal with." Damien huffs. I agree its just not what I had in mind.

"I've seen better." The building itself was some type of mucus color that seemed to be chipping off. There was a vending machine at the corner of the building with an Ice machine that seemed to be turned into a dumpster. There were broken bottles and plastic chairs around that area, and the parking lot was trashed.
