Going to a Real Reality **Doctor Who Fanfiction**

Chapter 9

The Doctor looked so surprised when I flipped that switch and said I wanted something dangerous. His smile faded and his eyebrows flew upward. He tries to reach for the lever but the TARDIS jerks and he just falls on the floor. As for me, I'm just holding on to the console, smiling, enjoying the adventure. That's when the TARDIS jerked so much that I flung all the way over from where I was holding on into the wall on the other side of the room. The Doctor was just getting to standing up when that happened and he just flew backwards back onto the floor. The lights in the TARDIS started flickering and the console started smoking. I heard things falling off shelves around me and put my hands over my head for protection. Then, in one instant, I felt the TARDIS hit the ground and then it stopped. Everything was still. Until the Doctor got up. He ran over to me, looking worried.

"Penny, are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. My head hurts a bit but I'll be okay," I answer him. After he knew I was okay, the worries look quickly turned to anger.

"PENELOPE TYLER WHY WOULD YOU JUST FLIP A RANDOM SWITCH ON THE TARDIS AND SAY YOU WANT SOMETHING DANGEROUS WITHOUT EVEN ASKING MY PERMISSION!! Who knows what that switch could have done? Send us into a black hole..." The Doctor said all while he was pacing around on the floor. He started mumbling to himself what could have possibly happened to us as he walked to the TARDIS console and tried to stabilize it.

"I'm sure everything's fine, Doctor," I  said as I  walked over to the doors of the TARDIS. There's probably nothing out this door," I reach to open the doors and crack them open.

"PENELOPE, NO!" The Doctor said as he looked over and saw what I was doing. He ran for me, but it was too late. I opened up the doors and stepped outside to take a look around. It was dark and I could hardly see a thing. But I did hear something. Something terrifying. Something that would change my life forever. That one terrible, horrifying word.

"Exterminate!"

I look towards the noise to see a little light in the distance, steadily growing, getting closer to me. It started saying it more, the closer it got.

"Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

I was paralyzed. I could not move at all, I was so afraid. Just as the Doctor ran out of the TARDIS to get me back inside, it happened.

"EXTERMINATE!!!"

And with that, I crumpled onto the floor into a heap. I saw the Doctor run over to me, so so surprised at what had just happened, as was I.
