"You know, I feel like the old regeneration of me was Penelope, and now I'm Penny. Penny suites me more now than Penelope does. Don't you think, Doctor?" I ask the next morning as I continue to take in my new reflection.
"I still like the name Penelope. Whatever name your mother gave you is amazing," the Doctor said as he pressed buttons on the TARDIS console, looking a bit sad at the mention of my mother.
"So, Doctor, where are we going next?" I ask, curious.
"It's a surprise," the Doctor says as he flips the lever on the TARDIS and it makes that whooshing noise. I excitedly open the doors to see what exciting place the Doctor has taken me. When I look out the door the first thing I notice is rain. It is pouring outside, I can hardly see! I squint my eyes and try to see through the rain to see where I am. I see lights coming towards me and then they pass and water splashes all over me. Must have been a car.
"Ah!!" I scream in frustration as I look down at my wet clothes. There is a road right in front of me, and then beyond that is a large building that looks like an apartment building. Then Doctor walks out of the TARDIS and grabs me arm, dragging me across the street and up to the building. We walk inside and the Doctor pulls me up several flights of stairs.
"Where are we going?" I ask excitedly.
"To see a friend of mine," is all the Doctor says. We finally stop walking up stairs and get to a door. The Doctor rings the doorbell and I wait, excited about what is beyond that door.
Let's just say what was behind that door was not what I was expecting.
